Yeah they have a high chance of only qualifying for Relegation play off although their might be chance for them to improve more but only if they can be able to win their next match against Freiburg because they currently have 30 points while Mainz have 32 points and considering the club Mainz will be meeting on their next match which will also be their last match, they could stand on a higher chance of losing that match because Wolfsburg is currently above them on the table but although checking their last match against Borussia Dortmund Mainz could still possibly win the match if they should be able to perform the way they did on that match against Borussia Dortmund because it takes a good performance for a club like Mainz to win Borussia Dortmund.

So if perhaps Mainz was able to win Wolfsburg then Union Berlin will no longer have the opportunity to leave the relegation zone even if they win or they lose, so if the match plays this way their is no magic Union Berlin will perform that would work for them.
