I think the Borussia Dortmund side isn't as charming as they were last season and may not even finish this season with a trophy as speculated by many, the reason is because the competition is intensifying and there more emerging clubs that are contending or rather playing well and are trying to occupy the top position where clubs like dortmund usually occupy and at such it would take a miracle to see the Dortmund side bounce back to the level they were last season.

It's too early to say this all but I believe Dortmund will not perform badly towards the end of the season. I admit that this season it is possible that Dortmund will not be easy to compete with Munich, but believe me the hope of becoming runner up is still open for Dortmund. And regarding the cup that we are discussing here, it seems that Dortmund struggle is not over yet because there are several competitions that Dortmund can still pursue.

Dortmund performance in the league at the moment is very bad even so far they have lost a lot of points and made them lag behind Munchen as the top of the standings, seeing what is shown by Dortmund at the moment honestly I don't have confidence if their are able to rise later, because so far Nuri Sahin doesn't seem to have strategies and tactics that can make a lot of difference in each of their matches and that it are very different from what Edin Terzic did previously, Poor performance and consistency is of course the reason for them positions at the moment, but there is a little positive hope in Dortmund at the moment in the UCL which in my opinion they actually perform better than in the Bundesliga, it cannot be denied that the league journey is still very long but we also cannot guarantee if they can be better later.

I didn't really expect them to drop so drastically, they're one of the big boys in the Bundesliga and should be among the clubs challenging Munich for this season's dominance. 7th position is very bad for a team like Dortmund and I'm pretty sure that lots of bettors would've lost hope on them by now cause they've disappointed severally this season, they've lost about 4 tines, much more than any other big teams in the league, the only team that's yet to lose in the Bundesliga is Bayern Munich and they really mean business unlike Borussia Dortmund. Well, there are big clubs that doesn't start well during the early stages of a tournament but would rediscover their form as time goes on and get back in the top 4 spot. It's understandable if they're putting much effort in the UCL, that tournament is more competitive than the Bundesliga and what every top European club wants to achieve. Well, it's not going to be very easy for a team like Dortmund to win it though. However, I love their effort anyways, let's see how far they can go in the UCL and hopefully they'll rediscover their form in the Bundesliga sooner.

apart from their two defeats, Bayern Munich actually still has a chance to qualify for the next round. on condition that they win the remaining matches.

They don't need to win all the matches, they only need to finish in the playoff places which are till place 24, even two wins and a draw is enough for that since it would be impossible in terms of probabilities for more than 24 teams to secure more than 2 wins that would be 72 wins in the remaining 18x2, also 72 matches.
They need to beat Donetsk and Bratislava and draw with Feyenoord, they can even afford to lose against PSG.

Everyone was to blame, but first of all Bayern lost the title because of Bayer. Bayer scored 90 points in a season and the last time the German champion showed such a high result was 12 years ago, even if Bayern scored the usual 75-85 points, the title would still go to Bayer.
This season Bayern have 26 points after 10 games and this is still worse than Bayer's result last year, they had 28 points after 10 rounds.

There is no way Bayern would be able to defeat in terms of points the Bayer team from the other season, Bayer lost only 12 points, Bayern has already lost 4, it must not make more than 4 draws or not lose 3 matches, and I doubt it will be possible, especially with a pressure from both CL and this retarded UEFA nations league hammering their team.

Since Harry kane arrived at Bayern Munich he has proven himself to be an asset to the club and has always been scoring goals helping his team in the best way he can and am sure he would end this season as the highest scorer in the bundesliga. Bayern Munich haven't really had a wonderful campaign in Europe and I guess it is as a result of the introduction of a new coach who came in with a new philosophy different from what the former coach had , so I think that could be one of the factors that has influenced the performance of the team but there is still room for improvement as they still have their domestic league to contend for which obviously they're doing fine on  there, at least a league title will help strengthen the confidence of the Bayern side for next season.

To me, the European competition will be a distraction for Vincent Kompany because his team is not among the favorites, and based on their performances so far in the Champions League, they have a chance to win the competition, but it will be very difficult for them, maybe that is why Kompany is trying his best to keep dominating the Bundesliga. I also want Bayern Munich to focus fully on the Bundesliga title, at least  Harry Kane will lift a league title in his career, and they should also take other domestic competitions seriously so that Kompany will record more than two titles in his first season.

So far Kompany has shown his quality and ability in leading Munich to the Bundesliga although previously he was doubtful due to the lack of experience he has to coach a team as big as Munich, but today we can see how he is able to overcome the challenge by bringing Munich to become the only unbeaten team in the league at the moment, Attractive strategy and also style of play plus the support of sharp strikers like Kane of course make they have a great chance of winning the league title this season, I also think,  if at the moment kompany may only focus on domestic competitions and that could be a good strategy to ensure they remain dominant in the Bundesliga this season, I think it's good for Kompany not to have ambitions to win the Champions League trophy this season and it's better for him to target the Bundesliga trophy in his first season in coaching for save his position in end season later.

A player of Harry Kane's caliber will always contribute to any team he goes to. If he becomes the top scorer in the Bundesliga, this season could be a great experience for him. When a manager changes, it can take a while for the team to adapt to new tactics. Bayern Munich's situation is similar. They have the quality squad to compete in both the league and the Champions League.

Kompany has managed the team well so far and is trying to bring out the team's potential. I don't know how long this process will take, but if Bayern Munich starts beating the big clubs, Kompany and his team will have proven themselves.

Leverkusen did alright last season and that is why people have hopes about them winning again but it's clear that they are not having the same type of season again. Last season, Harry Kane failed to win the Bundesliga title due to Tuchel's poor performance. he did not make any improvements to help the club win trophies, and Real Madrid knocked them out of the Champions League, while Bayer Leverkusen won the Bundesliga. Kane came to Bayern Munich to win trophies because he did not make it in the Premier League, he spent many seasons with Tottenham but did not achieve what Is chasing.But now am seeing Munich as improve very well and topping the league that means that the new coach is doing good job and am seeing how the league is moving currently bayern Munich will be the favorite of winning the Bundesliga this season. Except that some of their players are injured, they will perform poorly, allowing other clubs to overtake them in the league table. Because Leipzig and Frankfurt are now performing well and vying for the top spot in the league. Bayern Munich's next game will be a facile victory because Augsburg is in poor form after that, Munich will face challenging matchups in the the league of heroes, including PSG in the UCL and Dortmund in the league.

But it will be very difficult for Dortmund to recover now because their performance has been very poor, which I do not believe is due to the coach, because Dortmund has sold many of their key players in the club who can win the UCL and even the league title, but they usually focus on selling their key players and receiving a large sum rather than replacing strong players. If Dortmund continues to sell key players, they will continue to fail to win titles season after season. They do well last season in the ucl but in term of league they don't didn't cooperate and this season they are more good in the ucl then the Bundesliga this time again, let see how the season will be but if they improve they can finish in top 4 in the league this season, and get a chance and qualify to the ucl.

Yes, it is certain that their extraordinary performance this season is thanks to those who managed to learn from the failures of last season by evaluating all the mistakes and changing them, Bayern Munich started the season very well with 8 wins and 2 draws from 10 matches they have passed, meaning they have not lost at all which now makes them lead the league with 26 points, I think I am not too worried about the threat from Xabi Alonso's squad, although it is possible for them to catch up but with a fairly large point difference I think it is very unlikely, on the other hand even though Bayern Munich leads the standings with a fairly large point difference but it does not mean they have to relax, there is no time to waste opportunities if they really want to return to being champions as we usually see in the past few seasons.

After all, basically Dortmund is not a team that always wins trophies, so it is a natural result if Dortmund ends the season without a trophy. It is undeniable that Bayern Munich this season has performed impressively under Kompany, they even have a great opportunity to create a record like Leverkusen last season by winning the trophy without being defeated, especially this season the main rival teams in the Bundesliga such as Leverkusen and Dortmund are in unstable performance.

Luckily Kompany is coaching a team as big as Bayern Munich, even though he is still young and has minimal experience, his leadership mentality is very much felt, plus the Bayern Munich players have above average quality so Kompany can easily coach them. In my opinion in UCL Bayern Munich's performance is not too bad, losing 2 times out of 4 matches is still reasonable because we know this is the first time Kompany as a coach competes in a competition as big as UCL, slowly as you said he can definitely improve his squad's performance and in any case the opportunity to qualify for the next phase is still open. About the bad results that Dortmund got this season, maybe this season will make other teams succeed in finishing in the Champions League zone this season. Because it seems, Eintracht Frankfurt from season to season also has a good effort even though it still fails to survive in the top four. Dortmund is not the same as Bayern Munich and they don't need to hire superstar players and have good performances in the Bundesliga. They usually prefer to earn money from selling player and this is how their business works in Dortmund. Now since Dortmund doesn't have good players we can't expect to see good performance and get good results from this team. However, I think one big reason for them to have their bad and weak performance is their coach Nuri Şahin. Since Nuri Şahin joined this team he couldn't have a good performance at all.

Dortmund had a bad start the season before last (if I'm not mistaken they fell to 5th place) but at the end of the season they should have won gold. Everything depended on them but a home draw with an outsider deprived them of gold. I say this because Dortmund is used to the highest volatility of results and is unlikely to fire the coach now. But at the end of the season or closer to the end of the season if Dortmund do not improve their results, this could well happen.

This season have been terrible for a lot of clubs not only on bundesliga but all other leagues those that did very well are no longer performing very well again and Dortmund did better last season compare to this season, and they even made it to the champions league final and they would have been able to win it but they just played recklessly and they might end up getting nothing because they look unbothered because even their last five games they were only able to win two.

And they have moved from the fifth  position to the seventh position so their is no improvement at so they will keep reducing in performance and the surprising thing is now that this is a club that a lot of people look up to and they have trained a lot of excellent players and now with this performance and who knows what position they will find their self at the end of the day after this season, and the only thing that will happen is that they will continue to lose till the season ends.

It was already discussed in this thread that bookmakers estimate Dortmund's chances of getting into the top 4 as 50%, which means their chances of getting into the top 5 are much higher. In this sense, the season is developing for them according to the usual scenario. Another thing is that we are used to the fact that Dortmund is aiming for much higher places. But all clubs have downturns, last year Dortmund was at least successful in the Champions League, let's see what happens this year.

While it's true that they are not looking as great as last season, I also believe there are still so many games left, there is like 24 games left right? That's a lot of games, that means we are not done with even 1/3 of the season and that's a lot, so they could still do very well. They have a new manager, and that doesn't mean that we are going to see such a thing changing anytime soon.

We need to realize things aren't always that great and we need to realize teams aren't always ready for a manager change and sometimes it takes time for new one to put their ideas forward. Nuri Sahin was a great player, and he seems to be a good coach too, it may just take a bit of time and since they have a lot of time left in the season I am sure that we are going to see them do much better.

In addition to that, Borussia Dortmund does not seem to prioritize winning of trophies more than their own business as a club. They easily sell off their players that are doing greatly well and don’t think they can keep them back to perform well for them to win trophies. They value the money they get from selling players than the achievements they’ll get as a team when they win trophies. The Bundesliga is now a place for the more competitive teams and Dortmund performance cannot be said to be in an exceptional state for them to also be called a potential team for the Bundesliga title. They need to intensify their play to the level of other big teams in the league in order to stand a chance for the Bundesliga trophy. They are nothing compared to why they were last season, the earlier they adjust, the better for them for a potential win of the league title.

I mean I get that Bayern Munich is doing fine every season, there is no doubt about that but at the same time if you are not them, for every other team, it's a very tough league and it doesn't always go that great for anyone at all. Just look Leverkusen, won the league by going undefeated all season, and look at them now, they are nowhere near that level at all.

So we need to remember that if you want to judge a team, do not judge them based on their performance right now, things may change and they may end up with a bad result or good result and we could suddenly see something else. We should not be considering this to be a final situation just at week 10, it's too early to decide.

But I think it's not about learning from mistakes. Bayern Munich was one of the best teams in the Bundesliga and they were having good performances in the games we saw from this team but after years of winning the title they finally lost it to Leverkusen however, I don't think if Bayern Munich in the good form could make Leverkusen stoped in the last season but still we can't forget that one reason for Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga title was Bayern Munich having bad performance which effective the results in the last season. Now Bayern Munich is backed in good form and Leverkusen is far from the last season which means Bayern Munich's chance is much higher.

Bayern Munich don’t want make repeat what for them last season should repeat this season that’s why they put much efforts improving their performances, for them to strong to fight against any of their opponents and indeed they make that possible. Because this season their performances has seriously improved compared to there last season performances.

Can we imagine how we see the Bayern Leverkusen with the powerful performances last season which I was thinking that they will did the same thing this season, but unfortunately their performances this season look little low and with the way they remain unbeaten last season; but unable to perform well this season Bayern are now occupy their last season position.

I think the most interesting one is Dortmund (currently 7th) Vs Freiburg (5th). Dortmund are horribly inconsistent this season mixing really good games with a really bad ones, so I wonder how will they perform against a solid team like Freiburg.

Potentially decent odds for Leipzig, who are playing away against Hoffenheim. Leipzig's recent games were far from perfect, but if they put themselves back together, they should manage to grab 3 points. The odds for that are x2.05.
