It's very tragic to see how Kane must have seen his club leaves from Pokal for the second time. Is it effect from Kane's curse? or Bayern itself played badly? I dunno. He still have some chances to gather some trophies from UCL and Bundesliga. If he fail, many will judge him as a the cursed one.

I personally has no problem with how he keeps missing opportunity to win the trophy. The problem is how people always judged him like he was the main caused by his club. It makes me feel so compassionate on him.

Hopefully, Bayern's result won't be disheartening him. He can keep balling in other competitions.

Being eliminated due to defeat by Leverkusen I think is a natural thing and Kane should not continue to be blamed for Bayern's failure because if we look at it as a whole Kane has contributed quite a lot to Bayern since his arrival from Tottenham.

Bayern still has a big chance this season to win the Bundesliga title, their elimination from the DFB Pokal I think is not a big problem because in football there are things that do not always go as they should.

Leipzig 5-1 loss was definitely the shocker of the week without a doubt, in fact it could be the most shocking game in all five big leagues to be fair. With that, their dryspell becomes four games now, they looked good at the start of the season, and if they won a few of these, they would be second place yet again, but they started to be bad, on a bad momentum.

Dortmund must be super excited about the tie now, because that tie now allows them to be one point to fourth place, a great place for UCL and that means a lot of money. Leverkusen didn't started the season that great, but doing better now, they could take to second spot in a game or two as well, they are very close, Frankfurt doesn't give that confidence to keep that place.

I follow this league regularly and there is a big difference between the performance of other teams and the performance of Bayern Munich this season. While other teams are not performing well, Bayern Munich is performing well in this league so far. But if Bayan Munich's defense position was a bit stronger then Bayan Munich might have got more advantage which they are not getting now.  Bayern Munich may win the German league this season due to the lack of teams to compete in the league.

Bayern Munich can win the league title this season but after the league title I don't expect them to win any trophy again, the reason why I believe they can win the league title this season is that they are at the top of the league table with a lot of points that no any team can compete with them unless they continue to lose matches and I don't think Bayern Munich will want to lose matches that will reduce their point in Bundesliga league, Bayern Munich yesterday performance is very poor.

I agree that Manuel Neuer's red card in the first half was the reason behind Bayern Munich's defeat against Bayer Leverkusen. With their performance, I have no doubt that Bayern Munich would have won the game if it weren't for the red card that was awarded during the game. Despite being down to ten men, Bayern Munich made an incredible effort to control the ball and the shots differential. In their last five games with Leverkusen, Bayern Munich has been unlucky, they have never won a game against Xabi Alonso, and they have either lost or draw.

However, Bayern Munich remains undefeated in the Bundesliga, I wasn't expecting that their DFB Pokal race was going to end so quickly this season, the game was spoiled by a red card, and I had expected a lot of goals from both teams. However, since Leverkusen knows how to play against Bayern Munich, I wasn't shocked when they won in the end. We should understand that for a team like Leverkusen, that's still a lot to see them in the top side of the Bundesliga. Before Xabi Alonso joined Leverkusen, they were a normal team and they couldn't think about winning the Bundesliga title while now, thanks to Alonso they have a much better performance.
I think the performance of Leverkusen was still not that bad and they can still think bout being in a better position on the table during this season since there is a long way ahead until the end of the season.

The tremendous transformation of Bayer Leverkusen from the stables of a regular level team in the bundlesliga league table and Europe at large to a now well competitive team for titles since  Xabi Alonso took over the club is amazing  and spot on. However, they can only have to battle for a spot in the top four of the table this season, probably finishing at 2nd or 3rd position as I don't see them winning the bundesliga title this time because the grandmaster Bayern Munich seem to have retaken it's regular position. But for a team like Leverkusen, finishing within the top four is no bad  especially now they're playing in the champions league, except that fans has placed high expectations on them this season due to their amazing performance of previous year.

It's unfortunate for Bayern Munich and Harry Kane to be eliminated from this competition. They played almost the entire match with ten men which make it difficult for them to win despite their performance. It's not possible to cover the missing role despite their efforts.

I don't want to point fingers of blame but Neur is one of their problems and was responsible for their loss yesterday with his careless contention. If he's tired he should better retire. He is used to making silly mistakes that usually cost Bayern Munich important games. He did the same mistake last season that caused Bayern to lose against Real Madrid in the champions league. This season again, he made mistakes which also allows Barcelona to give them a test of their own medicine. Manuel Neuer has received a red card in the 17th minute if the game, and the red card as affected Bayern's performance which has lead to the defeat of the one goal that is yet to equalized; this simply means that if they couldn't level up, they are eliminated in the DFB Pokal cup, and if Leverkusen were able to do so, then they can still be guaranteed of  a trophy this season because I don't think they Leverkusen can compete for the Bundesliga against Bayern and Dortmund, unless if Alonso is able to sign new players that will help the team.

If was not the best of games for Bayern Munich but the red card affected their performance and going a man down against a team like Bayern Leverkusen will not always end well and it didn’t. Neuer got the first red card in his career in a really silly way I'm afraid.    That was a really unnecessary run towards the attacker as there was no such thing like an absolute goal chance or so. He couldn't think healthily there obviously. Going down by one man really affected the team negatively. Maybe they could have eliminated Leverkusen in the other case.

Damn, when Bayern Munich needed consistency to maintain their points advantage Harry Kane was injured automatically reminding us of Kane's curse. I learned about this match already during the game and what I immediately noticed was that Neuer received a red card. I watched the game for a short time, the game seemed equal to me, but Bayer was able to take advantage of this advantage and won the match. For Bayern, the most likely trophies could be the Bundesliga and the Cup, now it is a minus tournament, and in the Champions League nothing is clear at all, especially with this new format.

Initially, when Kompany was hired to be the head coach of Bayern most people were criticizing him that he is not competent for the job, but so far so good, Kompany was able to prove those people who was doubting his coaching skills.
