I even doubt they would manage to stay in the Bundesliga this season. They have a huge problem in defense. Conceding such number of goals in only 10 games is too heavy. There is one thing they should prioritize first. Increasing the scoring productivity or focusing on much better defending. I don't have much hope about the latter though. 

Small budget teams can also stir up the league, don't get that wrong. Union Berlin some seasons ago was such an example some seasons ago. They truly didn't have the money but they had the guts to play with the big teams and reached 7th position which gave them a ticket to Europe.
Sometimes you just have to get lucky, scout some talented players for a low price that flew under the radar so far and suddenly they have some kind of performance explosion.

I wouldn't say that Bayern Munich's poor performance in the champions league is due to inexperience on the side of coach Vincent Kompany but rather a function of the ever changing nature of the clubs competing in the tournament and at such has greatly impacted the teams involved and that's why you see a big side like Bayern Munich struggling all the way but seemingly doing well in their domestic league.

As it is right now they are not the only club facing this menace, perhaps several other teams that we would have expected to qualify for the the next round without experiencing much flip flops but that isn't the case as there are a lot of them struggling as well, and I think Vincent kompany shouldn't be blamed for what happened to Bayern because the result he is getting in the German bundesliga is enough to convince the board that he is able to lead the team to glory sometime in the future, and they need to be a bit patient with his style of management.

This thought has been brought up multiple times and I will never understand why someone here thinks that clubs focus more on the Champions League than on the domestic league. They can do that when they are in the knockout rounds, have to rotate players in an and out and the domestic league games are not of that much importance. That's a different story then, but normally they are focusing on the domestic league as much as they focus on the Champions League. The difference is that the Champions League still is a highlight in every career of every player. It's normal that players sometimes come across as if they give a few more percentage points.

Sure. It’s obvious Leverkusen are not lucky compared to last season, and I think this shows that Bayer Leverkusen cannot keep a long-term consistency like other big teams that have been performing for like 2 or 3 seasons have been doing because I was thinking they would be able to dominate the Garman League this season again, but unfortunately they failed to do that. Leverkusen is still fine with Xabi Alonso but we can't expect to see the same good performance from Leverkusen during all the games and all season because not losing a single game and winning all the matches in to sometimes easy to do even for the stronger teams. However, the good thing about Leverkusen is they try to make the team stable and avoid making huge changes during the summer.

With the break underway, we can easily look at all the teams, seems like there isn't any team missing games, they all equally played 10 games, so we can now easily say that Bayern Munich will win the league. I get that it may not feel like that because it was close, but the gap grew and now it's five points. Leipzig did a good job hanging in there as close as possible, but with a loss and then followed that with a draw, suddenly they got five point gap when Bayern ended up winning both of those games.

If you want to beat Bayern, then you need to end up with a better result as well, and you need to keep winning, the moment you have back to back bad weeks, Bayern will use that as advantage and put a gap between you. The gap is two games now, and I do not think that Bayern will have 2m ore bad games than Leipzig for the remainder of the season, which is proof that we are not going to end up with anyone but Bayern win the league this season.

We should not reach any conclusions so early. Because there is still a long way to go in this season and there is also a good enough time for any other team to actually catch up to them if Bayern Munich starts performing badly. And I do not think the whole season is going to go that smoothly for them, especially with the new coach. It is only a matter of time before some coach finds some weakness in their tactics. Something similar like what happened with Leverkusen in the last season. At least that's what I am thinking right now. But if they do not face any problems, then it's all good, and I think if the performance does not deteriorate for Bayern Munich, they are definitely going to win the league

I am not surprise by Bayer Leverkusen performance this season because I actually anticipated this to happen, they were excellent last season and that was what was needed to break the Bayern Munich dominance in winning the league and then right after they did that I didn’t expect them to replicate such form again because it is definitely not going to be possible even if they kept the same set of players, they have more serious competition to play this season compared to last season. Although this season I wasn’t expecting them to actually lose some kind of matches that they lost or draw but there performances isn’t quite surprising at all. They will definitely lose their best form after the change of season even though they had a really great season last season. Maintaining the team's performance exactly the same as last season is very difficult, this is not only experienced by Leverkusen, but all other teams are also the same if they have a record like Leverkusen last season.

This season Kompany with Bayern Munich can be expected to win the Bundesliga title.
