Football is here again and this time, it comes with competitive teams facing each other. Vincent Kompany vs Xabi Alonso, who's bringing in the accumulating victory? Because they're both young managers and sharing the exact same mindset towards winning. Who do you think will take home three solid points? Ofcourse I'm sticking to the Bavarians because they're the tangible favorite oppositions, winning comes easy for them, they're good form and capacity surpasses their opponents. Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB Pokal tonight. This is an important game, I'm currently pausing my activities and getting ready for tonight's game. Perhaps placing wagering is weigh out of the picture for me.

Considering the last five games between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, the former has won one while the latter was victories in two games while two ended in a draw. Based on the current Bundesliga standing Bayern seem to be the better side since they are number one and have seven points more than Bayer. This game is highly unpredictable because both side are in good shape and under two of the sound young coaches in the German League. It is indeed a match to watch since Vincent Kompany and Xabi Alonso have proved that being a successful manager is not determined by age.

For some reason, I'm not so sure Bayern Munich will win in an easy way in the DFB Pokal match against Bayer Leverkusen. Because I think, Xabi Alonso also still managed to recover Bayer Leverkusen quickly this season, although not as good as last season but Bayer Leverkusen still has good potential with Xabi Alonso. Because anyway, based on the odds it looks like Bayern Munich is very favored to win, I personally don't really find out what factors make Bayern Munich very favored, whether because Bayern Munich will play at home or maybe other factors. With that reason, I personally really hope this match will have a lot of goals, at least giving evidence that they still have ambitions to be able to qualify for the next phase in the DFB Pokal this season.

If referring to the odds available, Bayern Munich is clearly more favored than Leverkusen, but in fact, both teams have been quite tough in several meetings since last season. in this match both teams have several injured players, whether Bayern Munich or Leverkusen are suspected of not playing their pure strikers. interestingly, Bayern Munich and Leverkusen seem to be rotating their front strikers in this match. In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich performance is at top because that team won many matches and have more points than any team in this tournament. But we saw last match of that team which it played against Borussia Dortmund full strength team and that team could not win this match and match was draw and if it would win this match that could be more strongest of this tournament. Dortmund full strength football team has low ranking but not bad because that is at 5 position on the table and has 20 points and won 6 matches but in the comparison the Bayern Munich team won 9 matches and that team lost no match.Leverkusen is also good team of this tournament but that is not best team to win this title and I will go towards Bayern Munich in this season.

These Bundesliga is very much in favour of Bayern Munich now and we may see them falling below if they can’t keep up with their consistency. Drawing the match again Dortmund is not enough reason for me to see them less of not winning the title. They played in Dortmund’s home and they should never had expected the match to be that simple for them to win. I like their style of play in that match because even as they were losing, they tried their best to get an equalizer to draw the match, which is a sign that they’re ready for the league title and won’t settle for anything less in this season after losing the trophy to Bayern Leverkusen last season. Other teams like Bayern Leverkusen, Leipzig, Frankfurt, Stuttgart are still very much in this fight and we may get to see the competition getting fiercer as the league progresses.

I do not consider Bayern Munich as the favorite to win against Leverkusen, despite the fact that the absence of one player does not prevent them from winning games, but Kane has been Bayern Munich's important player this season. Even though he did not score in any of their games this season, he did help them win some. Bayer Leverkusen is back to their best, however not as strong as last season, yet, they still have the same strength as last season, as seen by their impressive comeback in the previous game. The bookies like Bayern Munich over Leverkusen since it is an away game for Leverkusen, but I believe this game will not go in Bayern Munich's favor.

Furthermore, my prediction for today's game does not favor either team; I believe there will be a lot of goals, as their previous meeting in the Bundesliga finished in a 1-1 draw. So today match may end with a lot of goals. But if Leverkusen wins in the end, I will not be shocked.

To be fair 4 point gap is still fine, Bayern Munich shouldn't worry, and even if they failed and lost, and Musiala didn't score, the gap would be three points and I still would say Bayern had a chance. Remember, this is Bayern we are talking about and they are almost always great, last season is fresh in our memories so we doubt them, but normally they are a very dominant team and after getting the lead this much, I do not think they will give their lead back to anyone ever this season.

The top places are fun though, Frankfurt, Leverkusen, Leipzig, Dortmund, they are all pretty close to each other so far and I believe any of them could finish at any place, we could see all of them switch up places, and while I believe Bayern will win the league, I have no clue about the others and I can't wait to see how these four teams do until the end of the season, every week is more and more fun. Dortmund and Leipzig games were the most interesting ones, Dortmund got a tie with Bayern and Leipzig lost terribly, Bundesliga is finally fun again.

I think Erik ten Hag should not be one of the important candidates because we all remember what he did with Manchester United. We saw that Manchester United did not perform enough during this period and moved away from the old strong team image. If Leipzig trusts him, they should do much more research. If his tactical touches are suitable for the German league, of course they can bring him to the team, but I think they should also consider alternative options.

I don't have anything against him he might actually serve better, since the league is totally different from premier league, I understand what you are saying ten have not done anything that have earned him merit to be able to be accepted with doubt, but just because of that past record people are really not ready to accept ten, because till now Manchester United are not doing great and they still have not gotten a coach that can put things in place for them.

Leipzig Might have made there choice about him and if they feel they want to give him a chance then they should go ahead, because when they brought kompany a lot of people were very unsure about him, and kompany have proving him self and no one is saying shit about him any longer so the same might go for ten and they might actually have a bad idea about him but everyone deserves the opportunity, he might be bad there does not mean that he will not perform well when it gets to Leipzig. What ever choice they make they have there reasons and to be honest coaching is actually not easy the way people think.

I think the Bayern Munich team should be commended for that wonderful masterpiece they gave their fans when everybody thought it was all over and it seemed as if Bayern was going to settle for a lone goal win but it turned out to be a three goal thriller for the Bavarians at the last minutes of the game despite having most of the players returning from international duties and having to play on Friday which seems too early and unhealthy for the players, they still managed to navigate through to make it 3 nil without conceding a single goal from Augsburg, indeed this performance goes a long way to justify their position at the top of table.

They are not doing badly and that is something that I think everyone deserves , from the fans to the last one who works at the club, for me Bayern is one of the best in the world , Leverkusen has not been able to maintain its good Streak , it seems Xabi Alonso is having problems to be able to get good results , what could be affecting him? it is strange, perhaps knowing that Maybe next season he could go to a Madrid of his beloved? we do not know, but it could be an imminent Reality.

Yeah, despite the level of performance Leverkusen pulled off last season winning the bundesliga trophy without losing a single league match, still, they don't match in comparison with Bayern Munich who have won the bundesliga back to back, whereas Leverkusen by way of their drop in form this season doesn't seem like they could pull such show because right now they're sitting 7 points beneath Bayern Munich and am convinced Munich isn't dropping points for Leverkusen to close in on them.

We should understand that for a team like Leverkusen, that's still a lot to see them in the top side of the Bundesliga. Before Xabi Alonso joined Leverkusen, they were a normal team and they couldn't think about winning the Bundesliga title while now, thanks to Alonso they have a much better performance.
I think the performance of Leverkusen was still not that bad and they can still think bout being in a better position on the table during this season since there is a long way ahead until the end of the season.

Manuel Neuer red card was unexpected for the team and Kompany was forced to send Sane out so he can put Peretz in the post.. A red card that costed two players and the game itself.
I don't know why but it looks like Bayern Munich are very unlucky with DFB-Pokal or it is something that isn't that important for them so they don't mind losing it? After all, Bayern Munich want the Bundesliga title and why not UEFA Champions League one.

To be honest, I'm not shocked by Bayern's defeat, because in the last 5 games they played in all competitions, Bayern only managed to score more than 1 goal in 1 game, which was against Augsburg. So this shows that Bayern's attack has become very weak in the last 5 games, and in this game they failed to score at least 1 goal as they usually do. I believe that even if they had played with 11 players until the end of the game, the result would have been the same. The Bayern coach should focus more on the Bundesliga, at least we have to win the Bundesliga this season.

Leipzig's performance has really dropped very badly in the last 4 matches.

......Leipzig had the advantage of easy matches, taking a look at their 5 out 5 losses in the CL is pretty clear that any title or at least fight for that title is out of their league in Bundesliga and a qualification in CL is another wet dream..

After looking at the series of Leipzig match results, it is true, they managed to take the opportunity to play against small clubs and win them. But one thing that caught my attention was when they managed to beat Leverkusen, I thought at that time they would really succeed again this season. However, their performance has dropped even more, especially in the current last matches.

Even if we talk about Leipzig's UCL results, so far the results have been very bad. Out of 5 matches, all the results are defeats, yes 5 losses in UCL from 5 matches, which makes the club's position now in the bottom three. Really bad.

This 1-1 result was not bad for Dortmund at all because Dortmund was in bad form and they got a bad result in Bundesliga which made even some fans ask the team to get the coach fired from this team. Dortmund was even about to win and if they had a better defensive power they could even beat Bayern Munich in this match.
However, Dortmund had a much better performance in the last season but they got a draw against Bayern Munich while not losing a game against this Bayern Munich is not easy for any team.

In this season, Bayer Leverkusen did not get many defeat, they had only one loss so far in Bundesliga but their bigger problem is they lost many points in 5 draws after only 12 matches. 5 draws cost them 10 points and so far they are 7 points behind Bayern Munich in the league table.

Bayer Leverkusen still has not too small chance to compete with Bayern Munich for the title but it won't be so surprising if they will have to compete with Frankfurt, Leipzig and Dortmund for one position in top four of Bundesliga. Leverkusen don't look to be better than these competitors in this season and with this competition, if Leverkusen won't be careful they have risk to finish this season outside top four and will no longer be able for Champions League next season.

It will be not a desired ending for Xabi Alonso after he decided to stay working with Leverkusen one more season after a last massive successful season.

I follow this league regularly and there is a big difference between the performance of other teams and the performance of Bayern Munich this season. While other teams are not performing well, Bayern Munich is performing well in this league so far. But if Bayan Munich's defense position was a bit stronger then Bayan Munich might have got more advantage which they are not getting now.  Bayern Munich may win the German league this season due to the lack of teams to compete in the league.

If Musiala had not scored late in the match for Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich might have had to leave the field defeated against Dortmund. However, prior to the match against Dortmund, Bayern Munich were unbeaten in the German league and finished unbeaten against Dortmund.  Dortmund is not doing well this season so we definitely expected 3 points from Bayarn Munich in this match but Bayan Munich could not do that. It's only natural that Bayan Munich's performance without Harry Kane will be like this because Bayarn Munich have the ball in every position, pass the right ball but can't finish. If Harry Kane had been in the team he might have taken the chances that were created and increased the score against Dortmund.

It's very tragic to see how Kane must have seen his club leaves from Pokal for the second time. Is it effect from Kane's curse? or Bayern itself played badly? I dunno. He still have some chances to gather some trophies from UCL and Bundesliga. If he fail, many will judge him as a the cursed one.

I personally has no problem with how he keeps missing opportunity to win the trophy. The problem is how people always judged him like he was the main caused by his club. It makes me feel so compassionate on him.

Hopefully, Bayern's result won't be disheartening him. He can keep balling in other competitions.
