Borussia Dortmund was so bad this season. In fact, their defence non existent. Every game I watched was a goal fest. I hope that as they have now appointed Edin Terzic to replace Marco Rose, he will change Dortmund with those new signings. They really need to buy good defenders. They have no quality at the back at all.

It really is another huge disappointment for Hamburg after all the close calls for moving up into the Bundesliga in the last years. Maybe the worst so far... they were really close in making it, but the relegation games are brutal from the point of view of the 2nd league team. Next year, Hamburg has to play and win more consistently in the league to end up in the Top2 ranks.

The 3rd rank in the 2nd league mainly gives you false hope. Now 11 out of 14 years (almost 80% of the time) the Bundesliga team won the relegation match. It's just not an even fight.

i already wrote in the other thread that if hertha scores the first goal quickly it will be very difficult for hamburg to turn the game around.
and that's exactly what happened today. a quick goal and berlin was the better team.
they therefore deserve to stay in the first bundesliga.
and hamburg can hope for another year to finish first or second and be promoted directly to the first bundesliga.

I have to say the defense made some mistakes and Hamburger gave their opponent the chance to score. There were some more chances for their opponent to score in that match but they failed to do so. The start was perfect for Hertha. And I have to say the second goal from the free-kick was absolutely unbelievable. The goalkeeper actually did not understand what to do. Now it is the fifth consecutive time for Hertha to play in the Bundesliga.

André Breitenreiter is now the new coach of hoffenheim. Hoeneß is gone and Breitenreiter has arrived.

Lets hope that he can make some nice things and performance in Wolfsburg and bring them back to the good playing they got.

Well, that's the power of being a coach I guess. If you do a good job you get paid and bigger teams start to notice you and even if you don't do a good job or rather I should say if you do a shitty job you get released and also you get to keep the money off your whole contract. I actually agree with you and I really don't think he will stay for 3 years as well.
