Deserved or not, it came down to the single last game (2nd leg) of the relegation match vs Hertha and they lost. Hertha has played a bad season and they will play against relegation next year. Of course it is disappointing for Hamburg as well, but until now they always messed up their relegation into the Bundesliga just in the last few games of the season. Hamburg needs to me more consistent thoughout the whole season and then they won't have to rely on luck anymore.

However both deserve to be in the Bundesliga next season but unfortunately, one of them has to lose. If next season there are no big changes made by Hertha Berlin then they deserve to be relegated next season, with them still having this opportunity they have to make improvements which of course to make their performance even better. At least targeting to be able to compete in the middle table would be better, when compared to fighting to get out of the relegation zone next season then it is the same as repeating mistakes.

They have been in the Bundesliga five times consecutively now it is time that they start playing better and they have to stop ending in the relegation zone. They have to try and end at least in the top 10. I think they will be able to finish in the mid-table position at least. I believe some changes are important to be made for this team to do better. I also agree that if they can't do any better they should not be in the Bundesliga next season.

Frankly speaking, I was expecting Hamburg to play in the Bundesliga next season. They indeed deserve to get the promotion, because their performance in the Bundesliga 2 was decent and commendable. Although, they ended at the 3rd place, but conceded the lowest goals in the Bundesliga 2 last season. Unfortunately for them, they couldn't withstand Hertha Berlin in the second leg. I expected Hamburg to be in the Bundesliga next season to replace Berlin but when they lost 0:2 in the second leg of their playoff then I felt like it was another opportunity for Hertha Berlin to improve and try to be more serious in training and field of play.

For Hertha Berlin to fight in the league, they need to bring in more quality and skillful players to match other teams in the league because if they don't sign new players, I see nothing stopping them from being relegated next season.

As a result of the promotion Werder Bremen and Schalke have 30 million Euro each in additional income for the coming season. With this extra money they should surely manage to get a good team together. And to that the fact that the players are more valuable due to promotion and if they were sold, the clubs would get more money, than if they would still stayed in the 2nd Bundesliga.

Thats right that they get and have more money for the coming season , but the first german league will also have more expensive for them,
more money for the players or at least for a few and if you get new good players the 30 million Euros are gone fast.
I expect both teams will be for sure will have there problems into the first league even they are traditional teams.

Both teams will need to work out some type of swap deal if they want to improve the quality of the teams. I think they actually need to spend some money if they want to do well in the Bundesliga.

First of all, they have to make sure that they will be able to stay out of the relegation zone. And secondly, they will have to improve their play style. And for that, if they actually need to spend more than 30 million and by spending that money if they are able to do well in the next season I think it is worth it.

For Bayern, Dortmund and Leipzig, not much has changed, but indeed for one other club it is always contested for slots. Because if we look at the previous few seasons in the 19/20 season there was Gladbach, in the 20/21 season there was Wolfsburg and this season we saw Leverkusen.

I think that in this case the 3 leading clubs are definitely in Bayern, Dortmund and Leipzig, as for 1 more slot for the Champions League, this is still a free slot to be hunted. On the other hand I feel happy because there are 5 representatives in the Bundesliga this season for the Champions League although it is certain that only a few clubs can advance to the next round but this is still quite good

We witness that they are trying to win all the matches.  Leipzig is a very successful team.  But no matter how hard they try, the reality of the Bundesliga is that Bayern Munich is the champion.  I am sure that any team that can put an end to this will make a name for it.

Exactly and yes you are right on that.
We have seen that this season from Stuttgart also lucky they managed to stay in the first German League.
Its always hard for Teams that coming from the second league into the first , even it was only a year.
Schalke and Bremen will dont have it easy and they have to work hard on it to keep them into the first league next season.
New players are mostly needed .

I think what they need to do is to conserve that money to get a decent player this time because if they didn't do such a thing they will be just the same as always, I really think that their team is unique in their own way, they can focus more on defense, or even focus in getting those score in a more convenient way, it isn't easy but I think they will surely get a hang on it, If they can't win the championship then aim at just staying in the 1st division, they will surely need a push in getting that goal but I think that they can make it, it is just a 1 step at the time process.

To be honest I had my doubts about Hamburger but I had my trust in them more than Hertha. I say that I had my doubts about Hamburger because they were playing against an opponent that has played in the Bundesliga five times consistently. So I believe it was obviously hard for Hamburger to win against Hertha. But the type of performance that Hamburger showed and also that type of performance that Hertha showed, I honestly thought Hamburger might have a good chance. And they actually played well in the first leg but that was not enough.

Well, you had a point, I think looking at the history of how long they have been in the Bundesliga sure they had experienced a match with the Bayern Munich, Dortmund, and others from the top tier that in the 2nd division they can apply what they have learned, so you got a point, but I still go on with the Hamburger pick, because of their determination to win and their drive to really win, but in the 2nd leg Hertha BSC has more determination and drive to the and stay in the Bundesliga I really think it is not enough looking at the paper, but you can not know the true intension on a team winning, but I think we can not really judge a team,


Just in, the recent exchange that Borussia Dortmund had made, now that Erling Haaland is out of the Bundesliga, Dortmund now have a new prospect and now they have Jayden Braaf from Manchester City, as a free transfer, as Erling Haaland will be going to that club, I am not familiar with Jayden Braaf but they say he may have a similar impact as Jadon Sancho, well, his play on 2018 with Bayern Leverkusen is the mark was he was known in the Bundesliga and I really hope that he really has the same impact,

Anyway, having Leipzig able to end the season in that place is basically good enough, considering they are also being coached by a new coach. So yes, I think it's natural and even good for Leipzig in the Bundesliga but they still need time to be able to form a more solid team to be able to compete further in European tournaments. Because when the team is in its best form, at least they can become champion candidates in the European tournament and Leipzig have not yet reached that stage.

Hamburg lost to Hertha Berlin 2 nil. The game was really an interesting one but hamburg losing to Hertha is still a shock to me. I never for one day expected Hamburg to lose because they are superior over Hertha Berlin which is really struggling to win games.

That Hamburg didn't win is partly crazy. They should have won higher in the first game, but it was only 1:0. In the second match, which was only a few days later, they played much worse and this at home. There are rumours that the players didn't want to win because they are not used for the first league. A large part of the team would have had to leave and that was supposedly a problem.
