I agree with you. If Dortmund's goal was to win the title, they would never have sold their talented players. Almost every season we see Dortmund selling the most talented players on their team and making a lot of money. If they did not sell these talented players and would bring some talented players to the team by spending some money. Used to form a strong team. The problems with Dortmund are their growth strategy and their transfer plan. They have very talented scout teams but this growth and transfer strategies can not help them to win Bundesliga. Bayern simply is too strong and dominating in Bundesliga and Dortmund must keep all their best players and buy one or two star players in next season to compete with Bayern.

It does not happen in reality so they have to accept the fact that they will hardly to beat Bayern. They can make the competition looks interesting but in the end, they fail.

even if you look at over the past decade the most frequently changing and competing quite competitively here is only from 2nd position etc.

It is really a funny thing but it is a different perspective actually. Because as you said, Bayern Munich have already reserved the first position in the standings for even many more years.    There is no team to finish this huge dominance yet therefore this won't change easily. Dortmund are the closest team in strength to keep up with Bayern Munich actually but even they can't do anything against them. Then what team can we believe in? Dortmund lost Haaland too now and they are even weaker. They need to work on their defense first and then maybe they could change something.

I think Mane is a good replacement for Lewandowski because he has better connection with other players. He has good speed that is good and match with Bayern playing pace. In addition, Mane can score many goals too.

As long as Bayern Munich give what Lewandowski wants, I don't think that Lewandowski will even think of leaving the team this summer. He is having some contract issues with Bayern Munich now and it is not known whether they are close to reaching an agreement or else. Teams like Barcelona must be waiting for this contract negotations to finish before making an offer for him. As for my opinion, I don't have any problem on watching him in the Bundesliga now. It is a good privilege but I wouldn't be unwilling to watch him in another big league as well.

I am happy that Haaland is gone, all the talking about switching teams brings distraction, and to be honest he missed so many games due to being injured all the time, no wonder they have been inconsistent.
Dortmund now is a healthy club moneywise and of course they can't pay what all those clubs owned by rich Arabs or Russians can pay. All those wannabe stars like Haaland and co just see the money and want to go to a big team asap. Also Dortmund doesnt have a billion in debt like some teams from Spain. If uefa would actually enforce financial fairplay the champions league would probably see Dortmund and Bayern in the semis quite often.

Why be happy that he is gone? He adds quality to the league no matter how long he is injured for. Now we won't have as many goals in the league because we have lost one of the greatest scorers in the league history. Anyone that says they won't miss him or glad they are gone must be a rival fan Haaland was great to watch and I will miss him and I am sure the Bundesliga will miss him.

The problem with Haaland is does get injured but that might be a temporary thing with better medical care or better rotation he might be fit more often. I think Haaland is the type of player that you need to manage closely. He is like Gotze or Hazard both great players but they are injury prone. Gotze was managed well at Bayern Munich and started to get a good sequence of games together that proves that it can be done even if the player is injury prone.

He was a big part of Dortmund, he also had a good contribution to the success of Dortmund. And there is no reason why any Dortmund fan should be happy because of his departure. The problem is with Dortmund, not him. I agree that he was injured for a long time but this is not the only case for Dortmund when they had to sell their best player. But I have to say one thing which is Haaland being injury prone and moving to English Premier League is probably not the best decision in my opinion.

You might be right about it, even though Robert Lewandowski has said something like that, it will not be in fruition if the other end will not solidify their remarks, and just in, out of the three teams including the Bayern Munich that would want Robert Lewandowski to sign on their contract Barcelona was out of the race out of the financial problem, and they can not seems to give what Robert Lewandowski is worth, and if the other clubs would also fall out because of certain financial problems then Bayern Munich will still have Robert Lewandowski this season,

In my opinion, if Barcelona is out in taking Robert Lewandowski there are still other teams that want him on board, and those teams were Chelsea, Liverpool, and the one that Erling Haaland had recently transferred to Manchester City those teams that said was looking for attacking options and if Manchester City would get Lewandowski, it is really a coincidence that Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski will team up on Man City.

I feel the EPL will be too tough a competition for Lewandowski, because the gameplay in the EPL is tougher so with his old age and moreover Lewandowski is a striker I don't see a match if Lewandowski goes to the EPL. But considering that Barcelona are not in a good financial position, then it might be an obstacle and it will be difficult for Barcelona to get Lewandowski even though Lewandowski basically wants him. Not sure if Lewandowski will leave or not, because if Lewandowski stays at Bayern Munich for at least one more season then Lewandowski will become a free agent, but if Lewandowski chooses to leave in the near future then of course it will provide income for Bayern Munich.

Bayern actually will give him what he wants even they already spoke to him and offering new contract but Lewandowski personally refuse it and at the press conference he was giving statement there is no possibility to him remain in Bayern even he said the decision is final that this summer he will leave the team and his era in Bayern will ended this year but his focus currently is for Poland which playing at Nations League and he said too his future will be decided after this tournament

i read on the news that mueller is struggling to persuade lewandowski to stay at bayern because the two of them are already very well matched on the pitch. currently lewandowski is 34 years old, i think it would be wise if he retires at bayern (the team he has been with for a long time) instead of retiring at barca.

Dortmund's goal has never been to win a Bundesliga title. They make talented star players and make money by selling them. This is their business.  By selling Haaland, I don't think Dortmund will suffer a loss. Since they have no hope of winning the title, being in the top 4 of the points table is enough for them. And in addition to Haaland there are enough talented players in their squad.

I can agree with that actually. Because if Dortmund had really wanted to win the title, they would have prepared themselves in some way to be able to achieve it. For example, they aren't still finding a solution for their defense problem. It is like an open wound for them for a very long time. The last season in the Bundesliga was like a nightmare for them in terms of their defense. They were conceding very simple goals from even unexpected teams. They lost so many points just because of that. We will see if they will take an action focused on this problem this summer.
