I have to say the defense made some mistakes and Hamburger gave their opponent the chance to score. There were some more chances for their opponent to score in that match but they failed to do so. The start was perfect for Hertha. And I have to say the second goal from the free-kick was absolutely unbelievable. The goalkeeper actually did not understand what to do. Now it is the fifth consecutive time for Hertha to play in the Bundesliga.

Hamburger SV missing chance back to Bundesliga next season although have close step after first leg winning one goal and play as home match exactly give bigger chance to win, but loss expectation by Hamburger SV fans although playing home defeated by Hertha Berlin 0-2 and made 1-2 aggregate give chance for Hertha Berlin keep exist on Bundesliga next season. Hamburger SV have try next year back to Bundesliga or need to finish actually on 1st or 2nd position without have play again on play off round.

Hertha, however, saved the season and remains in the Bundesliga. It turns out that it was profitable to invest almost 200 million euro recently A lot has to change in the club to start achieving ambitious goals assumed before this season.

Dunno if I should congratulate them or not for staying in 1.Bundesliga after their failure this season. They had literally the worst statistics after Fürth, even Bielefeld had some better ones like defeats and goals received... Hertha won't go far performing like that, I am very disappointed from them, hopefully they will play better next season.

The performance of Hertha BSC was definitely the most disappointing one of all the teams that are or were in the Bundesliga this last season. A few years ago a investor bought into Hertha BSC and pumped 370 Million € into the club so far. They also signed some players with pretty big names like Jovetic and Kevin Prince Boateng and i guess that the goal was definitely to fight for a position that would qualify for the Champions League or at least the Europa League but instead they almost went down into the second Bundesliga. Now that they managed to stay in the first division maybe it was kind of a wake up call and they can show their true potential next season.

Hamburg played the first match almost flawlessly, and I thought that in the home match they would be able to keep the result they needed, but Hertha had a different opinion. The second goal from a free-kick was with some kind of unrealistic trajectory and the goalkeeper simply did not expect a kick into the far corner. Very nice goal! Hertha could score a couple more goals, they looked confident, the victory is more than deserved.

And the Hertha BSC is staying in the Bundesliga and what a game it was, never expected that other players of Hertha BSC got the fashion and hunger to win this game, and both teams will be staying with their status intact, that was really an unpredictable game right there every team can win but apparently, Hertha just have the mindset in doing it,

Now the opening season for the Bundesliga will be on 5 August 2022, and in addition, Schalke 04 and Werder Bremen will likely play in the 1st division while Arminia and Furth will be downgrade to the 2nd Division.

What happened here I am so disappointed now. because indeed in any case I feel that Hamburger is superior but indeed they are not playing well here.
on the other hand Hertha were absolutely outstanding and it was this comeback that saved them from death that kept them in the Bundesliga.

Nico Kovac and Andre Breitenreiter are two coaches I did not expect at all. But they are good decisions. And at Wolfsburg, I see a great season with Nico Kovac. I think a coach like him will give Woflsburg the necessary boost and they will definitely be playing for the international places in the table next season.

I just have readed the result today as i really have forgot that they playing yesterday , and i was surprised when i have seen they won with 2 scored goals.
After the last game they lost and the way they have played i never expected that they will be playing and changing the cards to their favor.
Congratulations to Hertha Berlin , there is a lot of homework to do for the next season now.

I was also shocked in seeing how Hertha have won, but surely I think the level of competition from the 2nd division  to the 1st division  is really high, and Hertha really did show that they are compatible with the 1st division and that hamburger SV has no doubt have no business with this division, and they are still young in getting into this, well next season will be hard so Hertha BSC really need to do a lot of work if they aim for the higher position,

Wow! actually I really like Wolfsburg 3rd only to RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich, and hearing this Niko Kovac is a great asset to be Wolfsburg's new coach, Kovac really has a lot of reputation he was in the national team in Croatia for years 1996–2008, and Team manage Eintracht Frankfurt in years 2016–2018, Bayern Munich In 2018–2019, and Monaco 2020–2022, while he is back at Bundesliga in coaching VfL Wolfsburg this coming season, I really think he is a great addition, 

nico kovac is now the new coach in wolfsburg as user cygan has written here. what surprises me personally now is that the contract runs for 3 years.
that is a bit daring in this bundesliga. i don't think nico kovac will stay there for three years.
that would really be a miracle in this time and the coach really has to show successes to justify this great trust.
but if nico doesn't succeed he still gets good money.or top severance pay from VW

It was a really unfortunate situation for Hamburg. They lost the second leg by 0-2 home which prevented them from promoting to the Bundesliga. I still am surprised about this because I was waiting for a stronger performance than this. But Hamburg were just terrible in the first half. Maybe they started fixing their problems in the other half but it was still not quite enough to make it to the Bundesliga. I believed that Hamburg deserved this league more than Hertha Berlin considering the recent performances in their leagues especially.

You do know that Julian Nagelsmann is the coach of Bayern Munich since the beginning of the last season? So there is no chance that he would consider leaving Bayern Munich for Wolfsburg. Also Wolfsburg had quite a weird season. They started extremely well under Mark van Bommel and even where at the top of the Bundesliga table for a few matchdays but then they lost many games in a row before van Bommel was fired. Then Kohlfeldt came and he also had a great start as Wolfsburg was successful again in both the Champions League and in the Bundesliga too, but then after a few games they started a losing streak again. Pretty weird.

In principle, it makes little difference who the coach of Bayern Munich is. When you have a team like Bayern, you always become champions. I think you would still be champion even without a trainer. The difference with the numbers 2 and below is huge. Bayern is also the only team that really belongs to the big teams in Europe. Dortmund must make their way back into the competition. And catch the departure of Haaland.
