Bayern Munich can surely maintain their performance even if some teams in the Bundesliga league is becoming tough.
 If eventually Bayern Munich is not able to maintain their position  it is still an opportunity for other teams, I have wanted the league to be competitive.

The gap between bayern with another club below it was not so big. Bayern needs to maintain its performance to make sure if it can become consistent again to win the upcoming match. The draw against leipzig was not a bad thing at all. Bayern has another chance to make the gap become bigger again. It's quite disappointing to see the draw between bayern and leipzig but it's first leg and second leg gonna be happening in the bayern's home. I think that people gonna believe if bayern can come back again to be a champion again for this season.

Bayern Munich drew and dropped points against Leipzig. However, Bayern Munich are still the favorites for the Bundesliga title. Bayern Munich is still 5 points ahead of Frankfurt in the second place in the points table. And Bayern Munich has the strongest squad in the Bundesliga. And I think the points gap between Bayern Munich and other teams will increase in the next few days.

Dortmund vs Augsburg is a very entertaining song since the Bundesliga started again imo, even Augsburg was able to score 3 goals and many chances for both teams created during the match. by returning to play Sebastian Haller, making Dortmund's game pattern even better even though he himself didn't score a goal.

This week has been going on very interestingly. We have seen another match with an absurd score like 7-1. Koln were even below Werder Bremen in the standings but this didn't prevent them from demolishing their opponent. There isn't even a match that Koln beat them very comfortably for so many years. It was the other way around mostly. This must be a huge hit to Werder Bremen and they had better question their defending. They conceded 5 goals in the first 36 minutes of the match I mean.

It really was a great bundesliga weekend after that extremely long winter break this year. Sadly i could only watch the match on friday between RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich so i missed out on those many many goals that happened on Saturday and also this Sunday. I am not really sure, if there was ever a Bundesliga matchday before with so many goals.
The results of Köln vs Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg vs Freiburg definitely were the biggest surprises for me. I expected that the Wolfsburg vs. Freiburg woudl be a very close game and that Freiburg would have a slight advantage there but in the end they lost 0-6 lol. Same with Köln. Sometimes everything works out for one team and nothing for the other.

I don't think Augsburg will be able to score a goal in such a way as to reciprocate with goals from Dortmund, although Dortmund at this moment are not completely good. But still, Augsburg has been in a more difficult situation so far this season as Augsburg is struggling to stay away from the relegation zone.
Augsburg almost got one point in this match, even Augsburg played away but they can still play well. With results like these, Augsburg should be able to get a better position in the Bundesliga standings by winning the next matches or not losing too often.

What a crazy game at Dortmund, where Haller was finally able to participate again after his illness in recent months. Dortmund - Augsburg was already 2-2 at halftime and the final score was 4-3. I agree with you conceding 3 goals at home imo is a failure for dortmund even though they won the match in the end. If Reyna doesn't score in the 78th minute then the game will end in a draw

I agree.  Losing 6-0 in a vital match for Freiburg confirms this.  To tell the truth right now, no team other than Bayern is likely to win the championship.  Bayern Munich occasionally plays bad games, but other teams occasionally play good games.  If we go to generalization, I do not see a team as high quality as Bayern Munich.  At the moment, there seems to be a league that will only be a battle for second place.

6-0 loss is certainly going to leave a mark on the back of the player's mind. And oftentimes it is not easy to get into a good mindset after losing so big like that. So, I do not think they will be able to compete against Bayern Munich at the top of the table for the league title. Another thing is, Bayern Munich, having no competition, should find it easy, as always.

Even though the first and second positions are currently only five points apart, I'm still pretty sure Bayern Munich can overcome the situation and maintain their Bundesliga trophy.

What I hope is that other teams can take advantage of the unfavorable situation that Bayen Munich is currently experiencing. With Bayern Munich's declining performance, it opens up greater opportunities for its competitors to displace the position they are currently occupying by beating it. Leipzig have done their best by holding Bayern Munich to a draw, other teams should be able to do the same as what Leipzig did in the first week of matches after this break.

It's not so bad for bayern to get a draw against leipzig but I do feel that nagelsmann feels so bad about that result Bayern's coach has been expecting to win the game easily but bayern was not able doing it. Nagelsmann was feeling disappointed with the result form the match yet bayern is still having chances in the upcoming match. Bayern will be facing koln which can be considered an easy opponent to get full points. I think that bayern Munich will have no problem securing the full points.

I agree that Nagelsmann would have wanted a win because freiburg and leipzig are following closely it's better to just keep winning as much as you can until they lose. This means if you get a draw or a loss on a weekend that they get a win? That's going to be bad, even when you tie with one of them, the other could win and make the difference lesser.

This is why it's much better if Bayern could beat them, winning against others are good but winning against these two could put some points behind them for sure. In any case, there is still a whole half of the season left, I think it's not going to be too much of a shocker and we are going to see them win the league.

Dortmund v Augsburg was such a goal duel today. I watched the match very excitingly from the beginning already. Dortmund really have amazing attackers and I mean especially Bellingham - Reyna duo for this match.

Bellingham is such a cold-blooded attacking midfielder that his goal was really impressive. It is a great feeling to watch him do his magic thanks to his great skills. Reyna's goal was the most fascinating incident of the match actually. His shot was so amazing and hard-to-save at the same time. He is also a skilled youngster in the team. The score could have been 4-4 or 5-3 as well. Because first Augsburg wasted a huge chance and later on Dortmund did the same. Dortmund gave huge spaces in their defense to their opponent and it looks like there is nothing different about them.

Schalke is still trying not to get relegated. Since Sebastian Polter can not play because he is injured Schalke now has loaned out a striker. Michael Frey from Royal Antwerpen. The loan contract is valid until the end of the season and includes the option to buy Frey after the end of this season. I am curious to see how many goals he will score. But more important is that the defence is good and Schalke will not get so many goals.

For me personally, it seems that only relying on one player is still not promising to be able to give good results for Schalke. What's more, Michael Frey is a new player who certainly needs an adaptation to build good chemistry for their better gameplay.

What an end of 16th round of Bundesliga which was first after having two months break for the World Cup we have 41 goals in 9 games with the average of 4.5 goals for the every match I never have business like this in UEFA leagues just because of this having special love for the German League which is surely one of the best in world in this round we have 18 teams were involved and just two fail to score any goal Freiburg and Schalke with all other 16 teams score goals in their matches which is amazing stuff to watch.

I agree with you. Sommer is for surely not a long-term option for Bayern because at most, they will have him for 2 seasons, no more than that. But I have to appreciate even at 35, he is still a great keeper.

Yeah, results like these having the biggest impact on teams performance and mentality of players as well now with this defeat they are dropped from second to fourth spot which is also setback for them and in next match now they are going to face Frankfurt which is currently having amazing performance and second spot with this all if Frankfurt able to push some more than surely we can expect big problem for them because from start of this season they were at their best but now suddenly in last three game they are lost two and now have another challenging match against a tough challenger which is currently playing aggressive game.

In fact, I completely agree with you. It would have been better if Bayern Munich had won the game against RB Leipzig instead of drawing it. It is possible that Leipzig will remain further behind in terms of points if that happens. However, that did not happen.

Dortmund needs to work on their defense to reduce the rate at which they concede goals; they were fortunate to have a good forward line and good midfielders like Jude Bellingham to keep them moving in the match, and it was all thanks to Reyna who rescued his team and got them the winning goal.

Dortmund is now ready to fight for a Champions League spot as usual by improving their performances in recent matches, including all club friendlies, and I hope they can maintain consistency in their performance.
