We actually planned to watch the game but since we moved to a new city some days earlier we had to give our tickets to friends. Our old house was 5 minutes by foot to the stadium, would have been nice to watch it.

The hard part would have been to chose who to route for, haha. Since I kind of hat both teams. 

Anyway, the game on paper looks promising, even without plenty of big names missing.

You're right of course, but I'm less concerned with the respective position (you can also have Kane play on the left wing) and more with how Mane and Kane behave on the field. For example, they both go into duels in a very similar way, and the move to the goal when in possession of the ball is also comparable for both players. In my opinion, it will be interesting to see whether the team's playing behavior can be better geared towards Kane or whether he also loses performance.

Anyway, the game on paper looks promising, even without plenty of big names missing.

I see it the same way, matches between the two teams are always worth a look, regardless of whether they play as a regular team or not.

Because this is a pre-season match, of course each coach puts his players in two different halves during the 90 minutes and it's clear that both teams are playing quite well. Actually the two teams played quite evenly and almost the score ended in a draw but luckily Manchester City was able to score the decisive goal in the 86th minute through a goal from Laporte. Manchester City's victory proves that they are still strong enough for Bayern Munich and even though this is only a pre-season match, what is clear is that the two teams will improve each other after the match.

I think it would be better if they brought Mane to the team instead of Kane transfer. Mane didn't show his best game last year. If he had believed in him this year and had managed to adapt Mane to the team, Tuchel might have considered a better option. However, I think there is a stance against Mane in the team. Sadio Mane came in the second half to replace Sane but unfortunately I didn't watch the match in the second half, so I don't really understand how Bayern Munich played after falling behind in the first half, what I can judge in the first half is that Bayern Munich still haven't found their best form, their midfielders don't function well either to assist in attack or to defend, their opponents only need a few touches to maximize the chances to be a goal.
Even though this was only a friendly match, what Bayern Munich displayed was not impressive, their strikers were not effective enough in maximizing opportunities, and it seems like a necessity for Bayern Munich to buy a new striker which they think will be able to contribute this season, otherwise, they will again have difficulty winning matches, the final score is they lost, this has to be an evaluation for Tuchel.

Yes, of course, because the purpose of this match is actually to test the effectiveness of the main eleven after change certain parts. Tuchel and Bayern still have three more friendly matches before enter the real match, he also still has time to rearrange positions that is not optimal based on the results of their pre-season tour. From what I see, the combination/chemistry between Bayern players still needs to be improve. It can be seen from this match that they lost far from Manchester City in ball possession.

I wanna say if there was a lot of improvements happened with bayern. Manchester city has been substituting haaland and some important players for the second half. The gap is not so big like last season. Manchester city needs to put more effort in making the second goal against bayern.

Walker has become a player that is now standing between city and bayern. I hope he will be able to determine his future after this. Losing 2-1 was not so bad for bayern caused by tuchel is in the progress rebuilding the club again.

There is no league that Kane cannot play in,he has been a regular scorer in the EPL,he is always the highest or the second highest scorer in the premier league,so therefore,if Bayern can retain all their best players like Sane and Mane,I think addding Kane to them,they will have a very sharp front line that people will fear.

But I am still surprise why Kane wants to leave Totthenham now,I thought he was still going to have atleast one or two seasons with them untill his contract expires at the club,but it looks the player is just tired of of the club and for not winning anything.

I personally think that Kane would be a good transfer. He wouldn't be the perfect transfer, but close to that. The choice is limited as there are not that many viable strikers and Harry Kane is among the best of them, but quite old already taking into account the considerable investment a club has to make to get him.
