On paper Leverkusen chances are quite high and with their consistency, Bayern Munich should be a worthy competitor. It seems that the current Bundesliga season the situation will not change much considering that Bayern Munich with a new coach has not performed optimally even though in the pre-season they were able to win the match but because the opponents they faced were not evenly matched. They actually had a huge unbeaten streak which must be over 50 games.    But it finished by Atalanta in the Europa League. Otherwise they could have carried the streak to even this season. Xabi Alonso has gathered all the attention on himself as a result. Personally I believe this season won't be the same. It is just too difficult to maintain such form for two-season long.    Plus, I would really like to see a title competition in the league this time.

Bayern Leverkusen still has the chance to become champions of this season if they perform like they did last season or even put more effort than what they did last season. Bayern Munich is also a worthy contender and I don’t think they’re going to allow Bayern Leverkusen to win the trophy for the second term in succession. Bayern Munich will only have a chance to compete for the league title if the coach is very up and doing to make things work out for the team. Since he’s a new coach, we can’t tell much, but will see what he can do for the club to make them excel.

Xavi Alonso is going to do everything to make sure that the team performs well again, I didn't say that Bayern Munich will not win the league title this season but Leverkusen is going to be a problem for Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich needs to know how to handle Leverkusen this season or else they will end up without nothing this season like the way they did last season.

I don’t think Bayer Leverkusen is going to set the same record as last season again. They may be the champions, though, because they still use the same players and coach, so all of them already know the method and how all the teams play, so it will be easy for them to get higher this season again. But that, of unbeaten throughout the season, is what I don’t think will repeat itself.

Bayern Munich are not going to be a big challenge for Leverkusen this season. Bayer Leverkusen are going to fight for the title again. Bayern Munich has a new manager. He will start with a new method that the players will still use before their performances go as they wish, so while in that process, Bayern Leverkusen will be leading already, and we know how strong Leverkusen is.

Of course, i'm almost always on the right side. Guirassy was indeed the difference for VfB Stuttgart last season, unfortunately he preferred to go to Borussia Dortmund to improve his career record. The team got a lot of new players, some coming from loan and some permanent transfers. If they play their cards right, they know what to do. The first game against Freiburg should not be that difficult for a team like Stuttgart, but definitely, a season opener is always a bit nerve wrecking.

They have talents like Silas, Fuhrich, Mittelstadt. They lost Guirassy, but I do believe that they have a plan to sort things out, even without their star striker .

I personally think it is going to be very hard for them to keep a lossless streak. Because in the last season I think even though they were playing well, they actually got the benefit of being taken not very seriously by a lot of teams. And I think we all know that no team is going to make that mistake again. Every team is going to be very ready when playing against Leverkusen. And of course, Bayern Munich is going to be extra careful against Leverkusen. And this time Leverkusen is going to get the respect that they deserve because they are the defending champions of the Bundesliga. I am not going to be surprised if Leverkusen actually loses in the first seven or eight matches, to be honest.

Yeah Leverkusen still use the same squad this season so they should still be able to compete with Bayern Munich and Dortmund but in the first match today they almost made a mistake when Leverkusen had already won by 2 goals in the first half but in the second half they conceded 2 goals so the score was 2-2 until the 90th minute, fortunately Florian Wirtz was able to score the 3rd goal for Leverkusen in the last seconds so Leverkusen can lock 3 points.

But today's match was indeed quite fierce we can see it based on the statistics of both teams, Monchengladbach had 14 shots and 7 of them were on target while Leverkusen had 25 shots and 10 on target this indicates that both teams are playing aggressively so it is not surprising that the total scored 5 goals. By the way a good start for Leverkusen and they have to continue it.

The good thing about the Bayer Leverkusen team is that they were able to retain most of the major players they had last season. This singular act would make the team retain its form. They have started showing that they will be one of the major Bundesliga title contenders by defeating VfB Stuttgart in the Supercup. That is not just the great thing, but also a very very shocking thing as well. Like I was 100% certain that some team would snatch Wirtz right away for example, they have so many great players that could fit so well with many rich teams and yet none of them really got transferred.

Another interesting match. Many people were actually saying that Bayer Leverkusen would beat this Borussia Monchengladbach but the club stood their ground and did exceptionally well. They matched some stats that Bayer Leverkusen also produced and for me the positives from the match was that Borussia Monchengladbach if they can can continue like this then they will be better than last season.

As for Bayer Leverkusen they have already started the season with late minute wins, just like the scrapped this win I think they will find others too very hard. Leverkusen hardly give up, and that spirit of winning, even at injury time, always helps them. In today's match, I had already given up, thinking they had drawn. In fact, I even stopped watching the match because I believed it was going to end in a draw. But surprisingly, when I checked my phone to look at my ticket, thinking that only Leverkusen had spoiled it since I picked them for a straight win, I was shocked to see that they had won the match. Bayer Leverkusen has started trying their best to see if they can still have an unbeaten season again, but it seems like they will definitely have many challenges because having that record again will be very hard because there are a lot of changes in many teams, and they will feel it differently from last year. Although you also mentioned that Atalanta were the ones that broke that record of unbeaten same as this season, they will be a team that must challenge them just to see that they were not able to get that record again this season.
