A win is a win and the bookies still favour Bayern to win the title, with the outright odds currently being x1.53 for Bayern to win the title, while Leverkusen's odds are at x3.10.

I'm rooting for Bayer though. I'm pretty sure Xabi could've left for much bigger and richer club after the last season (as there have been quite a few big clubs looking for new managers) but he decided to stay for another season, which must mean he believes he can replicate the success. But to be fair, the club owners will probably still be satisfied with 2nd place and with going through the League stage (which replaced the group stage from this season) of the Champions' League.

Vincent Kompany seems to be bringing the magic to the Bundesliga like he did when he was handling Burnley in the championship and it got me wondering why he couldn't replicate the same performance when they got promoted to the premier league. Is it that the Bundesliga is not much difficult than the Premier league or was it that he didn't have good players at his disposal while he was in the EPL? Anyways, a good first start for him and even though it was hard fought, three points is still three points and I'm happy he was able to get that because some teams in other leagues tend to get draws in their opening games in the new season.

The problem is not as if they can not do it but they have to be very careful since there jobs are always at stake, if you have not achieved it people will look down on you and people don't want their expectation to be high to much so that he wont disappoint them when they have started believing in him and if you look at it Bayern Munich is already a made club, I don't think he should be struggling with trying to put Bayern in place so that when ever they did not meet up with their expectation they wont be carried unaware. After the departure of these two defenders, Bayern's first match in the Bundesliga slightly declined in its defense. I love that the Bayern Munich management didn’t give Komoany a very big target for this season, with that, he will have extra time to achieve that target and may possibly want to get something better than that in order to win the favour of the team’s management in the future. I really love his coaching style even though I haven’t really examined how far this style will be useful for him in the league and the champions league. They’ve started well and if they continue on this trend, they will be topping the table if not being one of the major contenders alongside Bayern 04 Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund.
