Yes, they lost last week and this defeat should teach Xabi some things. Xabi is a great coach. Bayer Leverkusen played a very good game even though they lost. there will definitely be many surprises, the Bundesliga has only been running for 2 more and that doesn't determine everything. but the strong competition will definitely be the teams that we can actually predict. like Union Berlin which as usual performed quite well at the beginning of the season and experienced a decline when the middle of the season started. several seasons their performance was quite good competing at least in the top 5 standings. but last season was very bad for Union Berlin.

maybe we will see a clearer mapping for our favorite teams when the season enters the middle of the season. I don't think this season will be easy enough for Leverkusen or Munich.

They have to be a little bit loose in this season and every team will definitely win and lose games no matter the club and the competition, we have to know that. Leverkusen are one of the strongest team in Europe and whenever you mention the likes of Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City e.t.c, you have to mention the Bayer Leverkusen team because they have done what no team can do in a long while. Competing in the champions league will give them a new challenge and if Alonso don't manage this team properly like he did last season, I don't see them doing well because injuries can spoil the plans of the team.
