I think Dortmund deserves to win the game despite them not taking out their chances they created to score goals but they were the better side and the three points is definitely a great reward for their job performance in the game. True Dortmund almost didn't record the win because they were leading 1:0 with the goal they scored before the half time but the away team got the back into the game and almost shared points with Dortmund if not for the lucky goal thst came for Dortmund before the 90 minutes. St Pauli were slow to the game but they managed to avoid conceding plenty goals I think the team was great despite conceding the late goal that gave Dortmund the win.

Well, you have to differentiate though what kind of teams Dortmund faced in the UCL so far. Those were teams that, in my humble opinion, don't belong in a prestigious cup like the UCL, just like many others we see this season.
Yes they are on top but they basically only played the bottom of the table, so now facing real is a whole different story. I see no reason why Dortmund would go all out to struggle at home against a team they're suppose to beat with so many goals last night, the game they played ended 2-1 which to me is too poor and the visitors almost played out a draw but Dortmund was so lucky that they got the second goal. St Pauli wasn't that impressive but from how teams to take games after the break I think is because of the game at hand that made the host Dortmund to perform less in that encounter, having the Champions league at hand do make teams to rest some of the best players and it makes them to not do well. I still don't know the logic in reserving your best for the champions league, if it's the finals then its understandable but with what clubs are doing I don't get it, many will do the same today and tomorrow just to be in their best form in the champions league.

Guirassy continues to score on the other hand. It was the winner and his 4th goal in 5 league games already. This is surely an accurate signing but there is still a clear problem, the defense.  

Dortmund have always been like this though. Especially in the Bundesliga. They still can't get ahead of conceding so many goals in a season. They can normally work it out by signing good talents.
