Yea the team is that position but thats because of their poor performance, so far they have play 8 matches in the German bundesliga, they were able to win 4, lose 3 and draw 1 and as it stands they have gotten 13 points and with the look of things they are not ready for any improvement, in their last 5 matches including in the DFB Pokal, they managed to win St. Pauli on a 2:1 fight which would have ended in a draw, they lost others, it's very bad that even Wolfsburg that's occupying the 14th position in their league table won them in their yesterday encounter though in extra extra added time the team is frustrated, they were unable to secure that win, I think that calls for a serious cautioning of the manager because it's now obvious that he is not getting it right, for team that wants to be relevant in the bundeliga competition, they really need to improve their performance.

I don't think with this performance of theirs, people will still see Dortmund as one of the major contenders of the UCL or bundesliga unless there is a kind of improvement but for now it is as it is, they team look confused that's why i suggest that they manager should act fast to stop the lingering bullshit.

Honestly Dortmund are now among the list of weak teams, they hardly impress the fans till the end of any season like they try to upset the fans and if you observed when it comes to the DFB-Pokal, you hardly see bigger teams winning it, they all take a bow for the smaller teams to win it and it surprises me even Bayern Munich, is it that the trophy is not worth winning?

Dortmund have great potential to improve their performance in the rest of the season, but I think that is not an easy thing to remember their consistency is quite bad and without the support of a good enough strategy from Nuri Sahin as a coach, Dortmund's performance in the UCL does look quite good especially since they can win 2 out of 3 matches they have played, but the defeat to Madrid actually made me realize if it seems that Dortmund hopes in the UCL are also very small, because they cannot maintain their performance and consistency when dealing with big teams, in contrast to the UCL, precisly Dortmund performance is worse in the Bundesliga so I think for now they are no longer worthy of being favored as a champion candidate, besides that the bad strategy of Nuri Sahin should make the current management aware to evaluate their coach performance before it's too late, to be honest, I think Nuri Sahin seems to have indeed failed to continue what Edin Terzic left behind at Dortmund previously.

There are big chances for Dortmund to qualify for the champions league next season if they improve but if they keep getting losses in their games then winning the champions league becomes their only option of qualifying for next season.

Dortmund is a team that many of us all thought they’ll be at the top of the Bundesliga fight for the title, it’s unbelievable to see them in this position on the standings when the league is not even halfway yet. They may have brought in a new coach and trying to build up a new team, but what we expect from a team with a new coach is to show more strength and develop the team better after assuming the job. As the case of Nuri Sahin, it’s totally different and we may not see the best performance from Dortmund that could give them a good position in the league title if they continue to play like this. I'm not sure what happened to Dortmund's performance, but it doesn't seem to be because Borussia Dortmund's players can't be relied on. Instead, Nuri Sahin's strategy and tactics are easily read by his opponent. Let's look at the data, Dortmund has experienced consecutive defeats starting from falling to Real Madrid. After that, they experienced two defeats, one in the Bundesliga and another match in the DFB Pokal. I'm not saying this team is weak, they were even able to score two goals against Real Madrid. Yeah Dortmund is not consistent in the last few matches and even they were defeated in the Cup match but from one of the media we heard that management still gave Nuri Sahin the opportunity, of course this is a little surprising because at the same time the fans want a new coach but management believes that Sahin can bring Dortmund to a better performance.
