I feel like other big teams in the league won't want to be easily knocked out of the competition, so I think the aim of the  head coach ( Vincent kompany ) is to lift that trophy with Bayern Munich which means he has a compulsory tasks to think about with the squad.

if he needs more to be added, he should rather discuss with the board of organization in FC Bayern because the new season comes with no excuses for losing even a single match/ losing matches in a row. I agree that due to the porosity of Bayern Munich's defense, they are likely to concede a goal against Leipzig even though they will win the match so i don't think it's a big risk to gamble on that odd of Bayern Munich winning & BTTS which is about 2.19 odds. Leipzig was very weak last season and they ended in the 7th position and i haven't really heard about any quality signing the team have made in the transfer market which means they may continue with their last season performance. This is the first game of the season, Bayern Munich will want to have a good start and with the availability of Harry Kane they are sure of winning Leipzig. Am only sorry for Bayern Munich because one of their major attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala will not be available due to an injury he sustained at the club world cup which his absence will pose some threats in the midfield but i trust Bayern Munich to win Leipzig regardless that the chances of conceding a goal is possible.

It depends on what goals Leipzig has, but so far they have never really come close to threaten Bayern in any way. They always finish the season with around 65 points or less and that will probably never be sufficient to win the title unless Bayern plays one of the worst seasons in history. Given that Leipzig has a lot of money available and have been established in the Bundesliga for so long, I was hoping that they can keep climbing up the letter and become another serious contender for the title. But as always and as I said before and this counts for other clubs too, it all depends on what Bayern does. If they play a normal season, it is 95% their title. Leverkusen was the exception obviously.

This will undoubtedly be an intriguing match, as the first game features a big matchup, making it well worth the wait.

It's not even certain that Bayern Munich will win that game cleanly from my perspective. Because, in the last few seasons Leipzig has been giving Bayern Munich headache and the best possible option for me will be Both teams to score and ov 2.5

I get "why" Tottenham fired Postecoglou, because they did horrible at the league, but seriously weird to see the Europa winner manager to be clubless and fired. I am not saying they shouldn't have fired him, of course it makes sense to fire him, they finished so horrible at the league, that makes sense. But just because it was the right decision to fire him, doesn't mean that it doesn't look weird.

Because we do not see that many managers who win Europa league and then get fired, that's usually a very rare thing. Like maybe a year later? Like you win, and stay for another year, but by December you are terrible so they fire you, that is more normal. In any case, Thomas Frank will be a big question mark until the season starts, he did quite well at Brentford, so lets see what he does here.

Bayern Munich is the favourite champion so i have no wonder if the bookies will give them low odds for this game even i will assume Bayern Munich will always be receive low odds for each games for whole season but Bayern Munich lost some players such as Musiala who got injured and Muller who leaving and lets hope Leipzig can make them gets in trouble and they can make Bayern Munich hard to win from this game but i think BTTS is good as betting option
