Staying in the top five I believe is some sort of safe heaven, it builds the hopes that there are possible chances of still getting to the top at a time, I know that if it were under the management of Xabi, Leverkusen can firmly make their position in the title race, but at this point they are just trying to get it decent and keep a record not too poor from that which they have been able to secure in the past season. Just like every other team, the exit of xabi and some key players fid affected them but hopefully they recover from it soonest.

So, if they can be more consistent in winning, Leverkusen has a chance to move up the rankings again, but the journey is still long. If either side loses, their ranking in the Bundesliga will be at stake.

Anyway, regarding Dortmund, I've heard rumors that they'll approach Jadon Sancho for the winter. Anyway, Sancho's contract at Manchester United expires next summer.

Bayern were quite lucky to have walked away with a draw maintaining their unbeaten run and also maintaining their lead on the table of the German bundesliga after escaping a defeat from Union Berlin yesterday.

Union got lucky!Just because Bayern scored in the 90+ minute for the equalizer doesn't mean they were the lucky ones, Union started strongly and caught them by surpise, in the late h1 and the start of h2 things started to normalize and it was total domination by Bayern with Union only ready for counters the possesion went to 3/4 for Bayern, and they got lucky with that,  if we cut goals one might consder lucky from the euqastion it will still be a draw , just a 1-1.

It was normal that in such a game Bayern Munich by the team's quality should be the side to dominate a game against Union Berlin but in terms of winning the game Union Berlin were ahead of Bayern and were always taking the lead while Bayern fights to equalise. Counterattack is part of football as a strategy big or small teams use it depending on the opponent they're up against.

You have one team that has been playing in the last two weeks against
- Bremen, Arminia (2 division) and Freiburg and one that played with:
- Monchengladbach, Koln, Bayer and PSG
the fatigue starts showing.

Bayer Leverkusen almost did the impossible, but only almost They lost the Europa League final against all expectations in a straight 3-0. Id didn't see that coming. It was still a superb season to say the least since they won the Bundesliga, won the DFB Pokal and had the honour to play that Europa League final on top, but you can see that no matter how convincing a team is playing for many games and how unstoppable they may be looking, streaks will come to an end.

For Bayern it wasn't so much about the lost two points here, but about playing for the history books. None of the players knows when they will once again come close to a winning streak like that.

Bayern Munich still has a big lead and i dont think that anyone can catch up with them so easily or keep up with them. Other teams like Leipzig and Dortmund dont have the team quality to keep up with them to try and have a shot at the title. Even tho Bayern slipped up in this round i dont think other teams can follow for the entire season
