These two teams met over the weekend with Dortmund taking all three points as they won by 2:1 over the weekend with Dortmund playing away from home. Let see how Dortmund will respond to this goal by Leverkusen tonight. This goal is going to open up this game because more goals will be recorded in this game as both teams will come out for an outright victory. Leverkusen should be able to win this game or get at least a draw from this game because it will not be a good one if they losing this back to back against one team in less than a week.

First off, I want to give kompany's side the benefits of doubt in this match up, I really think they have what it takes to move up to the semis.
In training he has been going hard on the boys, sometimes that can push the players to do the impossible even so let's watch.

Now Dortmund wasn't in that game to me and Leverkusen played good football, just like Saturday or so when they still beat Dortmund 2-1 in the bundesliga , they are currently just 2 points off Dortmund on the table as well. We all know Bayern Munich is taking the title but the race for 2, 3, 4 will be interesting indeed.

Obviously we are talking about a team that has to do a lot better, they need to be second place and closer to Bayern, not third place and behind Leipzig, but I think they will get there eventually, not closer to Bayern unfortunately for them, but at least above Leipzig and reach second place.

We are going to see things change and see a much better approach here. What we could do here is bet on Dortmund to win, because they are a good team and have a great shot at winning this game as well. Not that I know anything, it's all a surprise to us, we learn about it with time, but that is not going to be ok at all for them if they lose.

In my opinion, Bayern Munich will win without too many problems and it will be a walk in the park for them. The technical gap is too wide and this then reflects on everything. The stakes are certainly starting to get high, but these teams can't do it against Bayern Munich.

Leverkusen has not actually lost their way they are already looking like they have found their missing key though in the beginning they were suffering from a bad experience from their then manager that's why they dropped those points which they are supposed to have collected but waking up now and picking back some points means a lot at least they may not catch up with Bayern Munich but the top 4 will be sure if they don't drop points again.

Something worth highlighting is that, for a team that has gone through some very bad experiences since Xabi left, they have managed to maintain a certain level They haven't lost everything like some other teams have they've managed to stay afloat, and that's something to admire. I just hope they recover the level they had with Xabi wow, they were playing at another level.

Got it. I didn't think you'd take into account games against Arsenal and PSG, which are obviously different from Bundesliga games.
If we take the Bundesliga only, the last 6 games will give: 1.11*1.17*6.89*1.27*1.21*1.24 = 17
Which seems incredibly modest considering that predicting a draw with Union was difficult, and it was this result that made the main contribution to the final odds.

Well, I got bored, so I decided to check the strictly Bundesliga games, for a bit of extra sauce I added 10 games, so it would make the differences a bit more to the extreme, for anyone reading this first time these are the numbers if you had guessed each team result in a parlay for the last 10 matches:

Of course, this is not about how good a team is, cause Bayern beating St Pauli at 1.2 would count also as a 1.2 for St Pauli, it just measures the divergence from the result the bookies expected, so a lower score for St Pauli means they got beaten as they should, not that they are better than Bayern or Dortmund.

Well   I agree even to x2000 - x3000, but Frankfurt is of course my respect.
But this figure is quite expected - they are in 7th place, the outcomes are practically random, so it is impossible to guess. Even 2 to the power of 10 gives 1024, let alone three outcomes without a balance of probabilities for each.
X60 on Bayern also looks really attractive; in farm leagues, 10-win streaks are not so rare, but I probably don’t want to invest in such an idea.

I was not expecting to see Leverkusen to play the way they played yesterday against Dormund for the cup, they went full defensive and in the end they ended up winning so i cant blame them for making it, but if you ask me it was super risky Dortmund have some really good chances to tie the game, Adeyemi in the final minutes has a very close situation to score.

I guess they are referring to the match played between these teams in the Bundesliga. You know Dortmund and Leverkusen played twice in a row together with the cup one. Dortmund won in the league but lost in the cup. 

I can't say Dortmund performed so badly in general yesterday. I didn't like them only in the first half that's all. So many shots but not even a single on target. Maybe a goal by them there could have changed the fate of the match.

Leverkusen reacted the way every strong opposition would have done. There would have been questions on the coach and the players ability to challenge for trophies if they had allowed Dortmund win them again for the second time in a week. The way Leverkusen players reacted and knocked out Dortmund from the cup shows that they were angry with the loss over the weekend. Now that they have balanced the sheet their fans would be happy with them. And I like it the more that they went straight to Dortmund ground and got the win same way Dortmund won in their ground.

Leverkusen's performance in the Serie A match  was not weak. Even then they  lost. Dortmund managed to take only  6 shots in the first match. But they managed to score 2 goals . Leverkusen exploited Leverkusen's defense weakness well.

But Leverkusen did not make any mistakes in the DFB pokal match. Leverkusen's defenders were very aware in this match . Leverkusen played a somewhat defensive strategy and secured a 1- 0 victory in the match. Leverkusen should give their maximum effort to win the DFB Pokal title this season. They have no chance  of winning the Bundesliga title. So if they can end the season by securing the DFB Pokal title , it will be considered a good season for Leverkusen.

This is true that Bayern Leverkusen's performance in the Bundesliga was not satisfying. Or before their decline in the performance it was expected from the Leverkusen that they would manage to be a strong opponent to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. And a little boring element would be reduced from the Bundesliga. But unluckily it did not happen and the Bayern Leverkusen faced a great decline in their performance. But now in the DFB pokal Bayern Leverkusen really manages to defeat Bourssia Dortmund in a good way. And many are saying that it is a great comeback of the Bayern Leverkusen to their position. Maybe it is true because they are a good team but the thing is that this is also not the Bundesliga. But I personally think that Leverkusen is really a good team and they have the potential of what they do going on in the same way they will be better.

On paper, Bayern Munich strength level is higher than Union Berlin, so it's natural that their match today is easy to predict who will win. However, it's also worth considering that in the DFB competition, Bayern Munich usually doesn't always field their full strength, and I also think that they don't always prioritize this domestic title, there are other, much bigger priorities for them. So there is a possibility that this match will have an upset, I consider a draw for 45x2 which means there will be a penalty shootout.

Has anyone been paying attention to Hoffenheim lately? I was quite surprised because last season they almost got relegated. Last season they finished in 17th place. But at the start of this season, Hoffenheim has been performing very well. They have been unbeaten in their last five matches. It seems that the change in head coach, like Christian Ilze, has had a positive effect. Under Christian Ilze, Hoffenheim relies on fast pressing and speed, and currently, they have proven capable of being in the top 10. A beautiful victory for Leverkusen, as they gained revenge by defeating Dortmund and ending Dortmund's hopes of a place in the DFB-Pokal. It seems the Leverkusen coach has learned a lot from their mistakes in the previous Bundesliga match, where they dominated the game but lost. In this match Leverkusen seemed to deliberately accept Dortmund's pressure and exploit gaps on the counter-attack, and it worked.

I think it's quite realistic for Leverkusen to focus on the DFB-Pokal, as they know they'll be hard-pressed to compete with Bayern Munich, who are in great form this season. However this doesn't mean Leverkusen isn't thinking about the Bundesliga; they will remain focused on finishing second or third in the standings at the end of the season.

There is no doubt Bayern are the better sides, Union Berlin don't stand a chance except luck favors them. The last five games has been terrible for Berlin, watching there performance deteriorate is going to affect them against Bayern who has been stable and competitive, Berlin will need the greatest luck to take points from Bayern for a draw or win.

I'm so muchly pleased seeing Bayern Leverkusen coming back to their normal form after Eric Ten Hang tried to destroy the team with his inexperienced and clueless tactics, thank God for the fast response of the management by firing him else by now who could have tell where Bayern Leverkusen could have been in the Germain Bundesliga standings, I very much happy because seeing a team rising to compete with Bayern Munich is quite pleasing then all of a sudden the team came crashing down it so painful but it's all joy they're back on track.
