To be fair, they won in Dortmund because BVB played bad. Dortmund was the better team, they just didn't score. Also, BVB won in Leverkusen only some days prior.

Sure, Leverkusen is doing well under the new manager after Ten Hag was sacked when he failed to get a point in two matches. The new manager is the right man to lead the team after a successful seasons with Xabi Alonso. Leipzig are living the dream of Bayern Leverkusen because it is not as if Leipzigos doing to much but in a way they are maintaining a high level of consistency and this was all Leverkusen wanted and they have changed to coaches in two seasons and this was because they wanted results and after Bayern Munich the next in line is the Leipzig and am sure no one saw this coming. I don't think Leverkusen has fully returned to the Xabi Alanso era. The current coach still has a lot of work to do to ensure consistency. Yes, they beat Dortmund in the DFB Cup, but after that they lost to Augsburg without scoring a goal.

Augsburg isn't a strong team even struggling in the relegation zone. In this match they had to surprise Leverkusen which would cost them points. This defeat leaves Leverkusen in fourth place with 23 points, level with Hoffenheim in fifth. What I mean is Leverkusen is currently better than they were under ETH, but they haven't reached the level of Xabi Alanso.

I am pretty sure that we are going to see Leipzig be at least fourth, maybe more but at least fourth for sure. That is good enough for them, they are not as old of a club as rest of them and built by red bull money which is why I think just being consistently around these levels is enough for them, you can't build a football culture for a club in a few years, and even after more than a decade it snot easy, because finding fans is the hardest part, and I bet they will do fine later on.

Give it enough time and in a generation or wo we will see Leipzig as a powerhouse. But for now, bring at UCL next season would be more than enough, and keep doing that every year is more than enough for them and wouldn't be a bad result.

Bayern Leverkusen won’t be said to be in a bad state of form even after Xabi Alonso’s departure from the club. They use to be a very good team, better than they are not under Xabi Alonso’s management, but recently their performance is looking improved, they just need to maintain consistency if they want to at least finish the season in a very good position. They are coming up again and with this, I would say they’re doing better as a team than their former coach is doing at his new club now. Consistency is key and if they can have that consistency, they will get to finish in the top four as the fight for the trophy looks to have slipped through them already seeing Bayern Munich dominancy this season.

Based on current form and team rankings in all competitions you can't really compare both teams, Dortmund isn't a bad team but you still compare them to Bayern, the German champions are seemingly one of the best teams in Europe, they are having a good run in the UCL yet unbeaten in the German bundesliga with so many goals to go with and they are also at the top of the league table. I don't think Borussia Dortmund would be able to match Bayern Munich's strength in any way this season.
