But as Dortmund have been able to win their match, the points gap can be reduced to 4 points. One reason is that, if you start to play not so great, then you can't suddenly shift gears and become great overnight, you have to get a momentum going and while it's true that they won Bundesliga long ago and it would require a big miracle for them to lose, it's also important to remember they are still on UCL.

So if they stop caring about Bundesliga and play not so great here, then they won't have the momentum on their side when they try to win UCL as well. Playing great at Bundesliga would make them be on a great momentum and morale to keep winning at UCL as well.

Why would Bayern Munich be complacent? It's just three points difference between Bayern and Dortmund. There are still many matches to go, and anything can happen. I do agree that the Champions League competition somehow influenced their last two Bundesliga results, as some of the key players were rested for CL matches, but Bayern is still pretty much focused on the Bundesliga. After failing to win in their last two matches, I believe they will bounce back with a win against Hoffenheim.

I confess I'm not surprised by Leverkusen, but I am surprised by Hoffenheim, who currently occupy 3rd place with 20 games and only 4 defeats and have a good chance of qualifying for the European Champions League. Today they will play against Bayern in a game that will be very high-pressure for Bayern, and if they lose they will be in a very bad situation because they will only have a 3 point advantage over the second-placed team.

I think this match was not easy but difficult because the first goal was scored by Wolfsburg and it was difficult for Dortmund to score the second goal which was scored in the 83 minute so this match was difficult for Dortmund although they are playing hard and are not making any carelessness which will cause them to lose points they are chasing Bayern Munich with very good performance so that there is a lot of interest and strength between them. Yes of course you said it right but Leverkusen should have taken advantage of this so that their strength and points would have been good and they would have remained in the top 3. That's also correct because the statutes define that Dortmund gets 4 points instead of 3 points for every 14th Bundesliga win. Since Bayern had one draw and one loss, the gap was closed by six points. @Hvdv, keep these coming! It's always good to learn from the best!


Bro, I saw that odds for Hoffenheim to win are 13.00. That's massive, isn't it? I mean we both agree it is unlikely they win, but compared to the odds that teams like Augsburg and Hamburg and Mainz had (I thin was around 17.00), 13.00 seems a bit high to me in relative terms.
