It could've appeared that Bayern could be in some sort of small performance dip, after they failed to win 2 league games in a row, but yesterday's game proved that two games were just a minor hiccup and they're back to being themselves.
It looked like it could've been an even game, but Bayern destroyed Hoffenheim 5-1, effectively ending Hoffenheim's 5-win streak.
Two goals by Kane and 3 by Luis Diaz, who moved up to the 2nd place of the top Bundesliga scorers with 13 goals.

After 24 rounds, Bayern have scored 79 goals, which is almost twice as many as 2nd Borussia Dortmund (x1.84 more to be precise).

Leverkusen only earned one point against Monchengladbach, but assuming their goal for this season is to end up in the top 4, then they are still not that far away, the gap between them and 4th Leipzig is only 3 points.

After going through the previous two matches without a win, Bayern really showed their true quality in this game. Although Hoffenheim is also a strong team this season, Bayern proved that their quality cannot be matched by any other Bundesliga team, and I'm not really surprised by that because I think we all already realize that Bayern is the strongest team in the Bundesliga.

Well they did need a game like this without a doubt, they had so many troubles here and there, so it was really something they needed for a good time and it's great that they finally got there.

I do get that it is not going to be easy, but it's going to be something that they really needed and with this 5 goal game, they showed not just a simple win, but a domination. Plus, it also helps them chase that "most goals in a season" record as well, they are going to break that if they keep this up.

Many people said that Bayern already had the title guaranteed, now I hope they see that's not the case at all. This season's Bundesliga is the same as this season's Ligue 1. Nothing is decided yet.

I still can imagine the Bundesliga trophy being lifted by Bayern Munich captain Neuer honestly.    The gap is 6 points with Dortmund, I know that. But still I don't think Dortmund will be able to keep this gap for a long time.

They are much more prone to losing points in easy matchups. I admire their streak now but this will come to an end sooner or later. I still expect Bayern Munich to become the champions by even a gap on double digits. Just like last season...

If Bayern Munich had played like this against Augsburg and Hamburg, their points lead over Dortmund would still be 11. Losing 5 points in those two matches became a valuable lesson for Kompany, forcing him to work hard to get his team back to its best form. The result was as expected, Bayern Munich managed to crush Hoffenheim with a landslide score of 5-1. This is the level of play I expect from Bayern Munich. As one of the strongest contenders to win the Bundesliga trophy, they must always perform at their best to maintain the distance between themselves and their rivals and have more freedom when playing in the Champions League.

At least the victory over Hoffenheim sees Munich pulling further ahead. The additional 3 points reinforce that Munich is not a weak team. Munich is a strong team, and losing points last week was just a mistake that will not happen again. Munich is the favorite team, and I think this season they will become champions again.

By the way, it is noteworthy that with such crazy statistics, Kane scored only 24 goals in 21 games in the Bundesliga, this is an impressive figure, but he was subdued by Ronaldo, Haaland and Lewandowski.

Now we are onto determining the remaining 2 semi final contenders. The fixtures:

Maybe we might see Hertha through. The odds are also quite close... In the other one I don't think Bayern Munich will surprise us.

Out of curiosity I just check the Bundesliga's top goalscorer per season: I forgot that back in 2020–21 Lewandowski scored 41 goals, it's a ridiculous number! Of course during that season he won the European Golden Shoe too. He is also the only player in Bundesliga's history who has ever won the top scorer title for 7 times, together with Gerd Müller. Just to give you an idea, after them there are Rummenigge and Kirsten with 3.
Maybe Lewandowski spent too much time in Germany, I feel like he has always been underrated by many.

Yup, that was a big statement by Bayern.
As I said at the beginning of the season, the major factor for them not being able to defend their championship won't be a good performance of other clubs but potential season fatigue, caused by their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup. But the Hoffenheim game proved this is not an issue, at least not yet.

That loss to Augsburg back in Jan was a bit unfortunate, as they were on a good track of finishing the season undefeated.

I'm still surprised Borussia Dortmund is still holding on quite close to Bayern, given a lot of Dortmund's wins were minimal wins by only 1 goal margin. They don't look anywhere as dominant as Bayern in their games, but still managed to gather an impressive amount of points.

Their goal at the end of this season is to find a way to return to European competition and, most importantly, to play in the Champions League again. This goal is very achievable if they can maintain their consistency and continue to earn full points in every match they play. However, the Red Devils are sometimes unpredictable; they perform well against big teams and are even able to earn points, but when facing lower-ranked teams, the results are often unsatisfactory. In their last match against West Ham, Manchester United could only manage to secure one point, despite playing as the home team.

Today, it is Manchester United's turn to visit West Ham's home ground. They arrive with full confidence, backed by the positive results from their previous match. However, we will have to wait and see how the match unfolds and what the final outcome will be.

Bayern Munich have enough resting and training time this days and their performance is back to best (normal) and I think they’ll continue their winning streak in the bundesliga Grabbing more points, their next game is against Bremen and they’ll definitely win that game.

That’s why I said right now Dortmund don’t have any much chance to snatch the top spot from Bayern Munich because Bayern wouldn’t just continue losing or drawing matches and their squad is really strong this season so Dortmund should still be consistent in winning their games but I think they’ll finish as the runners-up this season.

Bayern Munich attacking ability is their whole strength, Harry Kane and Luis Diaz are both leading the stats on the number of goals for the season, while other clubs are not half of what Harry has scored.

There is no pressure on Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga title will be won at a comfortable pace.

I had thought that Hoffenheim would have given Bayern a tough game but it was one of the simple won games for Bayern. It just amazes me how Bayern Munich do score plenty number of goals in every match. Hoffenheim happens to be a team that cannot stop Bayern Munich from winning that game, so it was not a big of surprise seeing Bayern Munich winning the game flawlessly. Hoffenheim did tried their best in the match but the red card was a blow to them, they didn’t have an edge over Bayern Munich after that and the game at to end in that manner. Scoring plenty of goals is a booster for Bayern Munich because even when the league points happens to be on a tie with other clubs, they will definitely have an edge over other teams.

Hoffenheim is not a team that can be a threat to Bayern munich anytime any day when it comes to the bundesliga, it their that Bayern munich dropped some points in the previous two games, that is understandably you don't expect a team to win all games in a season. Bayern munich playing at home against Hoffenheim and someone is expecting Hoffenheim to stand a chance of winning shows that such a person doesn't know the pedigree of bayern munich in the bundesliga.

I think its not an easy thing even to think about the drop of performance of Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich will also not easily allow this to happen. They made a lot of struggles to keep themselves on the standard they are in. And Bayern is really a very strong team with their decline in performance in one or two matches cannot affect them and people started thinking about their decline but it was not as. Because they just returned back to their actual calibre and potential which makes them really incredible every time. And I think  Bayern Munich will not allow any other easily to take their place and grab their position. They are managing their position and others are trying to have their position but it will happen if they play out of expectations and make things continuously in their favour.

Well, you are not wrong. Unfortunately, if they face a team with a compact defense that can reduce their scoring chances, they may draw or lose the game. Bayer Munich plays like the Liverpool of last year. A team that dont mind conceding goals, but will score multiple goals to win the game, always on point. I do think they have more offensive-minded players, that's why they are more of a threat.

Freiburg this season is weaker than usual. Apart from accepting a lot of goals and scoring less. They were at risk for elimination from DFB-Pokal against Hertha Berlin..
Hertha forced Freiburg to play additional times and they lost at the end by 2 shots while Freiburg lost only one. Hertha was not even in the list of the first names of teams in 2.Bundesliga .I understand the competition is not that valuable, but it is always good to get another trophy whenever possible.

I did expect Freiburg to have ended the game in regular time but, they couldn’t take most of the chances they created. One of their best chance came from that sneaky attack where the ball was stolen from behind and passed to a player right in front of goal and he still managed to get the shot blocked and deflected to the corner line. I couldn’t understand what I was watching or how he didn’t get that in with a straight up shot towards the roof. The goalkeeper had no means of saving that, the range was really close. Hertha Berlin hold on good anyways.
