It could've appeared that Bayern could be in some sort of small performance dip, after they failed to win 2 league games in a row, but yesterday's game proved that two games were just a minor hiccup and they're back to being themselves.
It looked like it could've been an even game, but Bayern destroyed Hoffenheim 5-1, effectively ending Hoffenheim's 5-win streak.
Two goals by Kane and 3 by Luis Diaz, who moved up to the 2nd place of the top Bundesliga scorers with 13 goals.

After 24 rounds, Bayern have scored 79 goals, which is almost twice as many as 2nd Borussia Dortmund (x1.84 more to be precise).

Leverkusen only earned one point against Monchengladbach, but assuming their goal for this season is to end up in the top 4, then they are still not that far away, the gap between them and 4th Leipzig is only 3 points.

I think its not an easy thing even to think about the drop of performance of Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich will also not easily allow this to happen. They made a lot of struggles to keep themselves on the standard they are in. I did expect Freiburg to have ended the game in regular time but, they couldn’t take most of the chances they created. One of their best chance came from that sneaky attack where the ball was stolen from behind and passed to a player right in front of goal and he still managed to get the shot blocked and deflected to the corner line. I couldn’t understand what I was watching or how he didn’t get that in with a straight up shot towards the roof. The goalkeeper had no means of saving that, the range was really close. Hertha Berlin hold on good anyways.

Even though they lost through a penalty shootout, Hertha Berlin was able to disrupt Freiburg's game so that in normal time they were only able to draw. Hertha Berlin is not the top team, but they were able to reach the quarter-finals of the DFB-Pokal which was a good achievement even though in the end they had to stop because they failed to achieve victory in that match. For big teams, this competition is not prestigious, but I am quite sure that for some other teams they are quite aiming for this trophy because this is an opportunity that they might have.

I seriously started to dislike these cup games. While it gives smaller teams a chance to play and maybe potentially win something so I get the value for it for smaller clubs, I honestly dislike the timing of it. DFB Pokal at this period would just tire players out and nothing more, and they are not really that important.

What happens if Bayern wins the whole thing, you think they are happy? Of course not, and even smaller clubs who ever win, they are not really that much happy for that long because they will not really help financially so it doesn't change much. I get the novelty of the idea, but it's really boring and not many watch it and it causes players to be tired and easily injured because of how fatigued they are from these extra games.

It just amazes me how Bayern Munich do score plenty number of goals in every match. Hoffenheim happens to be a team that cannot stop Bayern Munich from winning that game, so it was not a big of surprise seeing Bayern Munich winning the game flawlessly. Hoffenheim did tried their best in the match but the red card was a blow to them, they didn?t have an edge over Bayern Munich after that and the game at to end in that manner. Scoring plenty of goals is a booster for Bayern Munich because even when the league points happens to be on a tie with other clubs, they will definitely have an edge over other teams.

Bayern Munich certainly doesn't surprise me, in fact it seems to me that they are the team that can do more than anyone else in Europe. Right now they are truly one of the best teams in Europe. I'm seeing it when they go to play in Europe together with PSG, and Arsenal are really very strong and the consistency of this team is impressive.

Bayern Munich never lost their touch. They are still the best team in the Bundesliga and the favorite to win the league title. What I understood in the Bayern game, versus Hoffenheim was that Bayern as usual always concede goals. After Hoffenham had the red card, I knew it was game over, not until Hoffenham scored, I was surprised because how did they score Bayern with 10 men. Although Bayern had won the game, but it still teaches another opponent something, that the Bayern defense is still penetrable.

I understand this, but there are times when some big clubs lose because they are unable to play as they usually do, and this happened to Munich a few weeks ago. But we can see today they played better and got full points. They are back with a much better mission, and they achieved that against Hoffenheim. Next, they will play in the DFB Pokal against Leipzig. They should be able to win, although Leipzig is indeed a fairly strong team. Yeah, that was surreal without a doubt, and I am not sure how many people can do that. Haaland had a great season where he scored a lot of goals too but I do not remember how high it was.

But to be fair, Lewandowski scored 41 goals one season, most other seasons he had was less goals than what Kane had last year. Kane had 36 goals last year, and highest Lewandowski ever reached was 35 goals except for that 414 goal year. So, it's clear to say that playing for Bayern Munich is helping strikers score a lot.

You got the the history, anyone having in mind that Brusia Dortmund will win the German bundesliga must be a comedian, although we know that the game of football can be come up with confusing and unexpected results sometimes but Bayern is Really in good form despite having some draw or a draw recently before they demolished a team I may not want to mention last week, I think question that should come to our mind is, although we have seen that it is just 6points difference between Bayern and Brusia dormund, then my question is, will bayen just sit back to give Brusia dormund the chance to close the gap between them and what will they be doing then, this season title is for Bayern that is what I can say.

That Hoffenheim game really showed Bayern are somehow back to their best. The two games without a win were just a small back dip not really  a big problem!! a 5 : 1 win like that says everything. Kane and Luis Diaz were just on fire and ending Hoffenheim’s winning run and that’s a strong statement. Bayern’s goal scoring this season is on another level.

The competition is very valuable for Freiburg because I don’t believe they remember the last time they won the trophy. I don’t know that Freiburg won the match during the penalty shootout because the first 90 minutes were a draw, so I stopped checking their scores. Freiburg scored in the extra time, and Hertha Berlin leveled the goal to the penalty shootout, if Freiburg had been playing in their best level this season, the match shouldn’t have reached the penalty shootout before they win.

Despite the fact that football is unpredictable, and anything can happen, even though Freiburg make it to the final of the competition, they are not going to win the trophy. They are worse than the previous season, and this is a tournament where they have Bayern Munich, Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Leipzig, they needs to focus more on the league and the Europa League.

I doubt if Kane would be able to score up to 40 goals in a season but it's possible, he's a hardworking player and has already scored up to 100 goals plus in all competitions at Bayern Munich but he's yet to score up to 100 goals in Bundesliga, i believe he'll achieve that before the end of this season if he works hard enough cause he's already scored 86 goals and just have 14 left to make it 100. Kane's Champions league goal record is really impressive, he could score up to 10 or more this season if Bayern Munich go far in the competition. As for Haaland he's another high profiled striker that can be compared to Kane and Lewandowski but his form really dropped this season and it's surprising.

The gap between Bayern and Dortmund is only six points right now mainly because Bayern allowed themselves to relax a bit in a few rounds. They let Dortmund get a little closer, but believe me, a six-point advantage for Bayern is still very significant, and I don’t believe Dortmund can really compete with them. Today there will be a Cup match in which Bayern will face Leipzig. I think we’ll see another Bayern victory here, but first we need to see what lineup the Kompany decides to field for this game.
