I don’t know what calculation you are doing though, but to be honest I don’t see how Dortmund will catch up with Bayern Munich who is leading with 8 points ahead of Dortmund. The fact is that this club you are seeing is not even weak, they are in a very good form.

Just because Dortmund is at top 2 doesn’t mean they will win against Bayern Munich, infact let’s wait and see what will happen, Dortmund will be playing at home, I won’t still give them high chance of winning this match.

It was far from a perfect night for Borussia yesterday as they dropped out of the Champions League play-offs.
I think Niko Kovac made a tactical mistake of setting the team too defensively from the start in an attempt to protect the 2 goals advantage they had from the first game. Dortmund is not a defensive team and that didn't work too well. It didn't take long for Atalanta to score the first goal and they added another one just before halftime.
The second half was much better by Borussia. They had a few really good scoring chances, but were a bit out of luck. They managed to respond to Atalanta's 3rd goal, but eventually Atalanta got rewarded with a penalty right before the end.
I don't think that red card for Schlotterbeck was necessary.

Anyhow, there are still 2 German clubs left in the competition, Bayern and Leverkusen. There's a chance they could face each other in the round of 16th, but I hope that won't happen.

I don’t know what made people suddenly start feeling like Dortmund will win Bayern Munich. We all know what Bayern Munich are capable of when it comes to the Bundesliga, they are the dominant winners, just like PSG in Ligue 1.
