I would have entertained that idea if it were a team like Bayern Munich, well funded and with some of the best players that is there to have in the Bundesliga or in Europe at most. The same cannot be said for a team like Bayer Leverkusen. They made some success yes but, was soon ravaged by other elite teams in Europe for its players and now, they’ve got to struggle to win games. They would be lucky indeed but, I think that’s unlikely even.

It may look that loss of top players and changing of coaches during year are sure way to fail, but now football is based more on whole way of team than on stars. Top coaches have made easy to do playing ways that can make new players able to come in and do well and so club such as Bayer Leverkusen can keep being good even after selling off big names to match their spending.
Selling high priced players, in fact, is good step to long time growth of club as club will get extra pay to buy many young skills to keep team fresh and hard to guess. Also, pro clubs now base their scores on coaches on play facts under top such as owning game, but not just cup or a lucky match. Fact that Leverkusen is not talking now is likely plan to keep their eyes out of noises, and, as long as their game base is high, they are made to last player market and keep top.

Is there a substantial reason why people think Kane will leave? I do not get it, I have not heard anything that made it sound like he was about to leave the team, there is really no rumours about it, and as far as I know he has a contract with the team longer than this summer, which means he will have to be sold, can't be just leaving only because he wants to.

Osimhen would be great don't get me wrong, dude is a top 10 striker in the world without a doubt, but if you have Kane, then you do not need anyone else, and I do not see any rumours from any team that can get Kane at this moment. Most probably Kane will have to stay until his contract ends, after that they can go check and try to find who they can get as a replacement, but that wont be this summer.

If Kane intends to leave the team, they might want to bring in the Nigerian footballer as his replacement, but if Kane stays, this transfer would be unnecessary. Moreover, the high amount of money spent on him would be a huge burden for Bayern Munich. I don't think they have a shortage in the forward position. From what I've seen, like every big team, they have problems in the defensive area. They might make a few transfers to strengthen their defense.

That "if" carries a lot of weight though. I mean why would Kane leave, he is still relatively young enough and having a great time here and scoring bunch of goals and winning titles finally after many years of not winning anything at Spurs.

At home Atalanta will have a very good advantage just like their last home game against Dortmund but Bayern Munich being the bigger team in the game will be very prepared knowing that the fight won't be an easy one since they will play from away but if they underestimate Atalanta at home that means they will be ready to fight when they go back to Germany that's it they lose to Atalanta from away. I think regardless of the home advantage Bayern Munich should win the game they have a more experienced players their squad depth is stronger compared to that of Atalanta but as the competition is very unique we will be seeing different unexpected results.

I think Atalanta plays very well in big matches and has a strong defense. Against Bayern Munich, with the support of their fans, they will put up a very good defense and will be looking for weaknesses in Bayern Munich. If Bayern makes a mistake in defense, Atalanta will want to take advantage of it. I'm sure it will be a match worth watching. Because even though Bayern Munich seems to be the favorite, it will be a risky game. I think Bayern will win, especially considering how many goals they've scored in every match this season.

I think it is clear that Atlanta will put up a really fierce resistance against Bayern Munich in this game but what we are not sure of is what that resistance could help them achieve in the end, will they be able to get as much goal enough to win Bayern Munich? because for Bayern Munich, all that will matter in that game will be winning and they are going to make sure to achieve it.

Fine, Bayern could be presumed to be the better side, but it shouldn't be seen as a certainty, for nothing is certain in football, unless it has been played. The way underdogs have been winning lately is enough reason for people to argue less, and Atalanta is not so weak, even though they are not at their best. The fact that the match will be played at New Balance Arena is another reason why I will not even dare to take this bet, as it's gonna be tough.

I learned a big lesson on sunday when all the five clubs I chose lost to their opponents, despite being the best sides.

Bayern Munich can play their game against Atalanta very comfortably today. Because I think they have had enough number of days to rest before this game as they faced Gladbach on March 6th.

And 4 days later they are going to play against Leverkusen away. They are already going for the league title easily with a gap of 11 points.

So maybe in that game we might see some rotation to rest some players after the Champions League game.

I can not agree with you. This is atalanta's home match. That's why many people call Atalanta the  favorite. But I consider bayern munich as the favorite in this match.

Bayern Munich is very strong this season. Kompany is doing  good job. Munich's players are also in good form. So even though it is Atalanta's home match, munich has a high chance of winning. Atalanta may not be a weak  team. But I don't consider this squad to be very  strong either. Atalanta has played well in several matches. But the team's performance is  not consistent. It will be challenging for atalanta to resist a giant team like munich.

I don't think Kane will leave the team. The transfer rumors stem from the possibility that if Barcelona's president changes, the new one might want to sign Kane. That's highly unlikely, and they would have to pay a huge transfer fee for him to leave Bayern. No one wants to pay such a high price for a 33-year-old player, no matter how well he's playing. After all, how many more years will he be able to maintain that level of performance? Therefore, I think Kane will stay at Bayern and even retire in 2-3 years

The moment Bayern Munich managed to beat Dortmund the league was over. In fact it was over before that too, the gap was already too high even before that, but with the gap being 11 points right now, I would say it is not even remotely possible anything could change for the rest of the season.

The gap being 11 points would mean that they would have to lose 4 games for the rest of the season and Dortmund would have to win all their games. Think about it this way, Bayern not only did not lose 4 games so far in the league, but even the combined draws/losses they have is only four, and this is within 25 games, there are just 9 games left. So we would not see them lose 4 games out of 9 games, it's over and not going to happen.

How do you guys judge Kasper Hjulmand's (Leverkusen manager) work so far?
He took over after the abrupt sacking of Ten Haag, so he didn't have a lot of time to prepare prior to accepting the job. I think he did pretty well initially, considering all the circumstances (including Leverkusen trading away some of the key players), he had a good run when it looked like Leverkusen might be able to fight even for the 2nd spot, but the team is showing some signs of fatigue and has slowed down recently.
Their current 6th place is probably below the plan minimum, which I imagine would be finishing in the top 4.

Initially I praised Hjulmand performance because after the bad results from ten Hag, he delivered good results for Leverkusen in the early matches, but yes, as you have explained, now Leverkusen is experiencing a decline in performance, struggling to win against small teams and even having to accept defeat, what I noticed is the weakness of their defense and also the effectiveness of their attack line, they can play well but are not effective enough in maximizing every opportunity. I think what should be done is not to fire Hjulmand but to provide major support through player purchases, this will make Hjulmand appear confident in managing each of his tactics in each match.

Sure, but we also need to consider that Hjumland was a bit of an emergency choice after they decided to get rid of Ten Haag in an express time. Hjumland was not necessarily the most optimal choice, and the owners had more time to perhaps start talks with someone else whom they see as more suitable for the role and for their expectations.
Also, the argument that Hjumland inherited a crippled squad that was not able to perform at the expected level could be true if not for the fact that they had a really good run and delivered results but recently things started to go south a little bit.
On an unrelated subject, Bayern is destroying Atalanta 3-0 in an away game in the 1st leg of the UCL round of 16. And we're only at halftime. I hope Bayern will not hit the brakes in the second half and they will continue playing offensively. An attempt to defend the score could backfire.

After I realized that the match ended this way, I burst laugh. Because it’s funny how many of you gave Atlanta hope of winning this match, to be honest even before the start of this match I just don’t want to talk much or predict the match, but honestly I knew Munich will win the match.

The only thing that surprises me here is how they score many goals as they can, 6 goals is too much for Atlanta, Bayern Munich actually find it easy to win this match. Anyways football is full of surprises but Atlanta played at home so I don’t think they are suppose to let this happen.

Despite the players rotation, Bayern Munich won the match comfortably with six goals scored in total in the game.
Atalanta performed really bad, they only managed to score one goal in the stoppage which for me is never a sign of comeback for them in the second leg since they couldn’t get more goals in their home and I don’t think they can score more than one goals in their away game against Bayern in the second leg. Therefore I think Atalanta is already out of the Champions League, while Bayern Munich will be waiting for any team that will qualify.
