So Leverkusen dropped out of the Champions League. They fought a good fight in the 1st leg game against Arsenal but were forced to acknowledge the superiority of the English club in the rematch.

This is not the worst thing for Bayer Leverkusen because in Bundesliga, they are at a sixth position with 5 points less than top four. They are facing with risk of finish this season outside top four and won't be eligible for UEFA Champions League next season. They will have to play well enough to beat at least two above clubs in ending ranks for jumping to top four of Bundesliga and this task is not actually easy for them.

This leaves Bayern as the only German team still standing in the competition.

Bayern Munich is still too strong for Union Berlin, and Kompany can also field his best squad in this game. Looking at the points gap in the standings so far, Bayern Munich's chances of securing the Bundesliga title are much easier and it will be difficult for any challenger to catch up. Hoffenheim this season is extraordinary and can survive so far I am quite confident with them can withstand any plans built by Leipzig in the opening match this week, the worst this match can be a draw for both of them because their current strength is not too far from many things available.
This match will be very fierce, I think that goals will not be scored in this match, both teams will be defensive especially if they have scored first, because the match will be fighting for a champions league qualification position next season, both will try very hard in attack and defense.

 A team that has a good depth, quality players, good management and strong defence would always thrive, that's why Bayern Munich managed to draw with 10 men. Some teams would given up and let Leverkusen win afterall they're leading and gap is wide but Bayern Munich refused to take chances and made sure they qualify.
 It's more better than losing which could reduce the confidence of the players or cause arguments in the dressing room. Kompany is lucky he secured a job in a team where he'll win trophies.

You have made a good point, loosing does reduce the confidence of player and could affect their performance in their next fixtures and that will lead to loss of points and may likely gradually cost them their chances of winning the title, so the draw was a very valid move they made as supposed of them, at least they still have their morales up that they got a draw even with the red card.

I wouldn't say Leipzig are at a top position now.    They are the 5th currently and their recent form is also not very bright! I really miss their old times being more competitive for Champions League spots.

If I bet on this one my choice would be BTTS @1.42.

Both teams are in evenly matched form, with two wins, two draws, and one loss in their last five matches. Leipzig only advantage is that they will be playing at home, which I don't think is a high-risk bet.

It's rare to see BTTS odds so low; a combination of a Leipzig win + BTTS or BTTS + over bet might be a better option, which would yield x2,++.

I think the strength of Bayern Munich is not hidden specially in the Bundesliga. They win Bundesliga every time with an ease as they have full command on at least this title how to make it in their favour. And now the four teams are struggling and making efforts to achieve the top position. But among all Bayern Leverkusen is experiencing the most worst situation as they are not good in performing well. I think it's difficult for them to now have a chance due to the tough competition. But in between all the teams Bourussia Dortmund is good their efforts are loud and they are truly dedicating to have the best position and to fullfil their dream they struggled and prepared well this is what matters a lot. And if they keep going on the way there will be great chances for them to chase the success.

Bayern Munich played all the matches with a hard face and never backed down from anything, this means that even when they face European teams they become truly formidable and it won't be easy for anyone to challenge them especially when they are at home, they are truly an infallible battleship.

9-point gap is a lot for a team like Bayern Munich to top the league table. The draw made no difference in the title race, it also won't affect the players mentally because they had also won their ucl match against atalanta. Bayern Munich will win the Bundesliga and there is no team that can stop them. Though, they lost to Leverkusen due to the red card. That was not an issue, coming back to other games Bayern will win effortlessly.

Now Leipzig, Stuttgart, and Hoffenheim all have 50 points each, but Stuttgart have a chance to break out tomorrow if they defeat Augsburg in an away game, which I think they will.

For Bayern Munich, the league is almost over and every match is like a final in the title race. There are 8 games left and they are 9 points ahead of second-placed Dortmund. Bayern will win and won't allow any losses on their path to the championship. They have scored 93 goals in 26 matches this year, an incredible number. They are excellent at scoring goals.

It was a good game for Leipzig but one thing they annoyed me with them is their lack of consistency. For a club of their status I used to expect them to be in the ranks of Bayern Munich and Dortmund but they keep slacking. Imagine who was in 3rd spot: Hoffenheim when you've got the likes of Stuttgart, Frankfurt and even Bayer Leverkusen. For now, Stuttgart is also on 50 points so it's just a temporary upgrade that Leipzig are having since the latter have not played their game. Good job to them anyway, I least expected that number of goals.

Before that game, Leverkusen would probably be satisfied with perpspective of drawing against Bayern, but I don't think they were happy when the ref made a final whistle.
Leverkusen started off really well, bagging one in very early, in the 6th minute. Later in the 1st half Bayern got crippled by a red card for Jackson and it looked like the 2nd half would belong to Leverkusen, but that's not quite how things unfolded.
It was a pretty crazy game, with 4 disallowed goals and two red cards. Leverkusen looked decent, but their defense was getting really clumsy at times.

Leverkusen should have been able to win the match especially when Munich only played 9 men.. but in this match they were not at their best and their defense was quite weak, so that it allowed Luiz Diaz to score a goal, and even though Leverkusen continued to shoot towards Munich none of them managed to produce an additional goal which made them have to be satisfied with a draw. from this match it can be seen that Leverkusen was very lacking in their attack, and maybe they were saving their energy to fight Arsenal, even though in the end they were also defeated by Arsenal.

Leverkusen seems weak offensively this year. They haven't been able to recover, especially since the Spanish manager left. Furthermore, they sold key players, and the replacements are still in the process of adapting. If Bayern Munich can get points against them with nine players, Leverkusen should look for the problem within themselves. There's no one else's problem; the problem is with them. They were eliminated by Arsenal this year and won't be in the Champions League.

I'm not worried that Bayer Leverkusen couldn't even beat Bayern Munich with a one man down because Bayer Leverkusen is weak, and that red card Bayern Munich conceded was the reason why Bayer Leverkusen was able to shared the three points with Bayern Munich. Yes, Xabi Alonso leaving Bayer Leverkusen in the summer and Bayer Leverkusen selling their best players without replacing them is what contributed to Bayer Leverkusen bad performance this season. There's already a problem in the Bayer Leverkusen team , and Bayern Munich getting a point against Bayer Leverkusen isn't a yardstick to know that there's a problem at Bayer Leverkusen.

It was an incredible result. Leipzig performed exceptionally well. Since hoffenheim was not a weak opponent, we thought the match  would be competitive. But we  were wrong. We saw a  completely one-sided match.

They dominated the home match from the start. Each of their attacks was very powerful and sharp. 9  out of 14 shots were on target. On the other hand, Hoffenheim's players  were busy defending leipzig's attacks. It was very difficult for them to counterattack. After a long time , we saw a extraordionary  match from leipzig.

Tonight Bayern Munich will face Union Berlin. The last time Bayern Munich played against Union Berlin was in the DFB Cup, where Bayern Munich won that match. But now Munich will host their opponents at the Allianz Arena in this upcoming match for the 27th round of the Bundesliga. And this will clearly be an advantage for Bayern Munich, as it will put pressure on Union Berlin. I personally predict that Bayern Munich will win easily. They won’t waste this opportunity to win and even solidify their position in the standings as they get closer to winning the league title this season. And Union Berlin’s inconsistent performance in their last 5 matches also makes me even more certain that Union Berlin has no chance of beating Munich.
