Bayern plans to offer Harry Kane a new contract. Kane would sign for three additional years and he would receive 25 million euro per season.
Kane is 33 years old and Bayern wants to keep him for three more years. Isn't that weird? Bayern can afford to buy a younger striker, but they insist on keeping Harry Kane. Is Bayern really that dependent of Harry Kane? I'm sure that Kane would keep scoring in the Bundesliga, but the people, who manage Bayern's transfer policy should be thinking of singing younger players in order to improve the squad.

No, it's not like what you said. Bayern wants to utilize Kane even more. So they have to offer him a new contract. They have good financialm, and it's easy for them to sign a new striker. However, the problem is that can new young striker deliver like what Kane do?
We have seen how Kane is always showing stable performance, he has proper finishing, and he can also score from the difficult angel too. It's not something you can get from signing the young striker.

So they have to keep him even longer because he's also boosting club's performance despite his aged. But i do agree regeneration is important, yet a club in Bayern's callibre is obviously has it on their long term plan.
You should not worry about that.

Bayern Munich did not have any option than to keep him for more than three seasons because they don’t have his replacement, if Bayern Munich did not give him a new contract how would they get a good striker that play like Harry Kane? Harry Kane is not just a striker but an engine that never give up when he is playing, he has proven himself in the premier league and many tournaments, having him and build a team around him is the best way for a club to win a trophy, Bayern Munich know why they want to keep him for a long time, he is a player that any top club will want to have in their team.

I wouldn't say that Olise is completely indispensable for Bayern, as in the past they have demonstrated that they are a team with a thousand resources, but in any case for Kompany's game, having Olise in the team can make a clear difference and it certainly doesn't pay to sell him to one of the champions' direct rivals.
General Director of Bayern Munich Dresen was crystal clear about the possible transfers of Olise and Diaz. He said Bayern wouldn't be foolish enough to sell Diaz to Al-Hilal. And regarding Olise, it's the same very clear, he's staying with the team. They're not considering any other options for him, no matter the cost. Therefore, Bayern will remain with its current starting lineup, and I think that was expected.

Different transfer period, same talk Smiley

It is the same every year and it will be the same forever. You know, the transfer period in Germany is open till September 1st and the biggest transfers, those that involve buying players with already good contracts, usually don't happen within the first few weeks of those transfer windows. It is playing poker on both sides, one side says no chance, the other side says this is our final offer, and then you will see how out of a sudden rumours pop up everywhere and everything changes.

Diaz going to Al-Hilal is highly unlikely because I think he wouldn't want to just yet. He made the impression that is 120% motivated to achieve big things with Bayern. Now money can change everything, but since he is 29 now and could still go to Saudi Arabia in two or three years, I think his focus is on giving the Champions League another shot.

Olise, nothing is impossible. He would harm his reputation if he decided to go for a boycott or pretend injuries, but if Real Madrid makes an offer that breaks all records, Bayern officials will be discussing behind closed door for sure Wink

Considering their performance last year, it's normal that Bayern Munich doesn't want to let go of either of these two players. Harry Kane can also be considered one of those players who won't be sent away. Together with the English striker, these three players formed a magnificent attacking line. If I'm not mistaken, they are currently the best attacking trio in the world. I recall they surpassed Messi-Neymar-Suarez trio in Barça time. That's why they want to compete with this trio next year as well.

Normally, even with this rumors I have'nt see any special announcement that Olise will be leaving Bayern Munich to any team. I'm not surprised seeing this that the general director stated this, I just belive that Olise will remain in Bayern Munich . He is one of the main player in the team, he still one of the player that do make the team first line up so much interesting because of how he play, Bayern Munich can't let the player go, he will play for them for a long time.

Real Madrid fans should stop thinking of having him around, he will he of the squad to beat Rea Madrid in the Champions league by next season if they meet.

Doing away with either of these players would be a huge flaw on the part of Bayern Munich, Diaz maybe, they can get a replacement for Diaz but, Olise, I don’t see any replacement for Olise on the market. Most of all, Olise is at his prime and a player every team would want on their team. I heard rumors of Real Madrid looking to get him and his teammate from the international side K. Mbappe trying to convince him to come join Real Madrid  but, Bayern Munich in their quest for a champions league title knows loosing this quality would keep them far away from the trophy as possible. His easily the most creative player on the pitch.

Real Madrid's interest in Olise has been heavily rumored in the current transfer market, but Bayern Munich has stated that they will not sell the French international. Bayern Munich's efforts to perform optimally in the Champions League will certainly be affected if these key players are sold, so I'm sure Bayern Munich's management will try to retain their key players. In the Bundesliga itself, Bayern Munich doesn't face many challenges, as there are almost no clubs there that currently have a chance to break their dominance. Bayern Munich's big target this season is how they can perform optimally in the Champions League, especially regarding the title competition.

The salary thing made me look it up here. You know what's super crazy? Jamal Musiala, lol. I wasn't aware that including bonuses, he can make more than Kane... That one amazing season he played brought him an incredible contract. 22.83 m fixed + 12.45 m bonuses. I don't think he is worth that much and especially after his injury, his performance has declined significantly. Good for him though that the contract expires in 2030!

Yes of course they know the journey beforehand. It hardly happened in the past that a top player had a long career with Dortmund.

Dortmund gained a lot from the sales of players they kept for themselves if they could definitely make a difference, like Bellingham, Haaland and Lewandowski, to name a few.
Musiala also earns a little too much in my opinion considering his performance, an absolutely talented player but unfortunately the injury stopped him for a long time.

It seem no one is interested in the ongoing preseason matches  Sad

As usual, Bayern Munich always take it personally whenever they play FC Rottach-Egern in the Pre-season games.

Mind you, Bayern Munich did not feature their main players in the game but still achieved victory with these too many goals. It's surprising no single player had hat-trick in this game with even with this scoreline.

Bayern Munich have no problem when it comes to domestic games but they're still finding it somehow difficult in the European competition. How far do you think they can go in the champions league coming season?

You should not worry about that.

I think that today there isn't a striker who can battle against a monster like Harry Kane, or at least i wouldn't risk it if i were Bayern, Kane achieved his personal record in goals last season with many doubles and hat-tricks, he likes to score and it's in a league where he can do it and above all knows how to do it.

Jamal Musiala has now had his contract renewed with Bayern, and the pay is high enough now. If he could be earning an overall pay that is higher than that of Kane, then he is not earning low, but high.

As for Dortmund, that is their way and will not change, so don't let the brief stay of good players like Bellingham, Haaland and Lewandowski surprise you. Players like Ousmane Dembélé, Achraf Hakimi and many more have also passed through the club. One thing is sure: players cannot be at a club forever; the move might be orchestrated by either the club or the player, though Dortmund could do better by keeping them a little longer. Above all, it means money for them, with no Bundesliga trophy, even as they are not so poor in ranking. This is still good.

Every team will always strive to overhaul its squad in the transfer market to be fresher and stronger when entering the new season. However, the case experienced by Dortmund is very common and until now the habit of selling star players is still very difficult to change. Dortmund management is already very aware of their illness, they also have the most effective medicine to overcome this disease, but they still don't dare to swallow the medicine. If they take bold action, not selling any star players for two seasons, they could transform from a team just chasing a Champions League spot into one ready to challenge Bayern Munich for the title.

Dortmund would easily have the chance to seriously compete for the Bundesliga if only they made use of their talents and didn't just aim to resell players with very high potential, as they have always done, if they had retained them they would have had giants of the caliber of Lewandowski and Haaland.

No one can deny that, but Harry Kane is currently 33 years old, which may only be able to contribute for a few more seasons and the Bayern Munich team still needs other players for regeneration and does not fully rely on Harry Kane, but that is for the long term and for now, of course, Bayern Munich still really needs Harry Kane and I do not doubt the steps taken by Bayern management to retain players like Harry Kane.

You can't be that stupid, you just can't... How much is Haaland making at Manchester City? How much has Lewandowski been making at Bayern? Are you suggesting that they keep the players at relatively low salaries because if they were bad, nobody would want them, and then let the players go for free? What do you not understand about it that none of these top players ever has the plan to stay in Dortmund for 10 years? They just won't and Haaland would have never signed a contract if there wasn't a release clause involved.

Please go through the list of players that you think would have catapulted Dortmund to the top of the Bundesliga, tell me where they went when they left Dortmund, and tell me what Dortmund should have done to convince those players of staying with them for the long-term.

What you are talking here is only half of the story. Dortmund is a publicly listed sports club and I think at times that does not give them any advantage. They have to justify their decisions in front of the public and if they get an offer they can barely reject, not going for it can quickly become risky for the club bosses. But there is more: Dortmund will never be the final destination for top players, never. Bayern's squad is worth more than double the market value of Dortmund's. Bayern, on average, pays more than double the salary of Dortmund. The average value of a player is more than double for Bayern. When Dortmund signs a very good player with high potential, in most cases those players know that Dortmund is just one step towards their final destination (Barcelona, Madrid, Manchester City, PSG, etc.). So they either sign rather short contracts (2-3 years) or they have special clauses in their contracts.

Dortmund learned the hard way one time when they did not sell Lewandowski, and he could leave Dortmund for free when the contract expired. That is a double edged sword for any club without oligarchs backing it.

Dortmund is seen as the springboard team before landing in a big team, i already see them as a big team, and this is also demonstrated by the fact that they reached the final against Real Madrid a few years ago, unfortunately they struggle a lot to manage moments of high and low tension and this leads to matches that are not like a top team.

Dortmund problem is that, they are after making money from the sales of players instead,of focusing on building a strong team and make money from winning trophies. They improve young players performance and sell them out to big clubs without considering the team future. They should refrain from this act.

Bayern Munich's goal is long term and their main goal is to win the UCL. Bayern Munich has not been able to win the UCL for a long time and their main goal now is to win the UCL. If they want to win the UCL then they definitely need good players like Oliseh, Harry Kane in the team. As we have seen that Bayern Munich is the biggest trophy winner in the Bundesliga and it is expected that Bayern Munich will win the trophy this season. But their main goal is the UCL. Bayern Munich is in a very stable position financially and they have been in a stable position for a long time. As we have seen, their defense was a bit weak last season due to which they had to be eliminated from the UCL. If they are able to improve their defense, then maybe they have a big chance this season.
