It was unusual in the Bundesliga when Bayern Leverkusen won the tittle under Xabi Alonzo this don't regularly happened in the Bundesliga as Bayern Munich is the team that always dominate the league. I believe that nothing is impossible it could be that another team will take over from Bayern Munich this season to win the tittle if this happens it means that the Bundesliga teams are coming to challenge Bayern Munich not to be the only team dominating the game.

Leverkusen not only won the title that season, but also dominated the league. They won the Bundesliga title by 17 points with a total of 90 points. But the next season they lost that dominance and Bayern Munich regained their lost dominance. That was the only exception in the last 10 seasons where we have seen a different team win the title.

The upcoming season may not be any different. Dortmund are still in the player business as usual, they never try to win the title. They value money more than achievements. If Dortmund ever build a team with the goal of winning the title and keep their star players regularly, they might be able to break Bayern Munich's dominance. Moreover, no other club in the Bundesliga has the financial capacity to build a deep team.

Xabi Alonzo made history in Bayern Leverkusen, they made the Bundesliga look differently in 2023-2024 season and that was Bayern Leverkusen first Bundesliga tittle, not only winning it in the first time they also played unbeaten, undefeated through out the campaign with just 6 draw games and 28 games win, Xabi Alonzo deserve some respect.

Dortmund is one team in Bundesliga that do challenge Bayern Munich but what Bayern Munich does is buy any of Dortmund best player to there team to make them stronger so they can continue to dominate the league, i think Borussia Dortmund prefer doing business than winning the Bundesliga tittle.

Last season, Bayern won both the Bundesliga and the German Cup. So in the German Super Cup, Bayern will play against the runners-up, Borussia Dortmund. It’s also funny that the Super Cup final will take place in Dortmund, which means Borussia will be playing at home. Do you think this could help them beat Bayern, or will it only be a minor advantage for them?

Dortmund playing at home is a plus. The fans will be behind them and that can lift the team. But Bayern is a big team and they don't get rattled easily. Home advantage is good, but it won't be enough if Dortmund don't turn up their A game. They have to be at their best to beat Bayern. And let's be realistic somehow Bayern always find a way in these big games. Dortmund will need to be sharp from the start and take their chances when it comes their way.

We will see how it goes first, but Dortmund playing at home doesn't mean they are going to win against Bayern Munich. Because we all know how strong that team is when it comes to matches like this, Bayern Munich can still beat Dortmund even if they are playing at home.

I know the home advantage you are talking about will be there, but the fact that Bayern Munich is far better than them I don't think they will beat Bayern Munich even if they are playing at home. This is a big game and Bayern Munuvh won't let it go.

To me, I just think this Bundesliga league is not really interesting because of the way they totally allow only one team to be favourite for the tittle every season, unlike premier league, where you can predict the team that's most favourite for the tittle.

Bayern Munich's established financial power, and a durable signing power has globally switched the club onto striving on the 50 + one rule that limits foreign investors some level of control over a club. Had the Government of Germany allowed foreign investors to take full ownership of German clubs, a stronger competitive environment would be seen coming back to the league from investors willing to match up with Bayern's transfer market confidence. Thereby, granting clubs like Dortmund, RB leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen an equal playing ground and improve the performance of other clubs.

It was just few years ago where we watch the ultimate Bayer leverkusen who destroy Bundesliga team without mercy or fear, they were the very best team in the world because they humble every Bundesliga teams and even Bayern Munich was not their mates and we all know that.

It's going to take much much long time for Bayer leverkusen to bounce back and become epic as they were under the management of Xabi Alonso but alot have down.
