Last season, Bayern won both the Bundesliga and the German Cup. So in the German Super Cup, Bayern will play against the runners-up, Borussia Dortmund. It’s also funny that the Super Cup final will take place in Dortmund, which means Borussia will be playing at home. Do you think this could help them beat Bayern, or will it only be a minor advantage for them?
Dortmund playing at home is a plus. The fans will be behind them and that can lift the team. But Bayern is a big team and they don't get rattled easily. Home advantage is good, but it won't be enough if Dortmund don't turn up their A game. They have to be at their best to beat Bayern. And let's be realistic somehow Bayern always find a way in these big games. Dortmund will need to be sharp from the start and take their chances when it comes their way.
Bayern Munich remains a formidable opponent for Dortmund, especially given their championship mentality and consistent performance in big matches. Dortmund were also completely helpless in their H2H encounters last season. That is why they struggled to beat Munich, even when playing in front of their own fans.
Bayern Munich is also highly motivated to win the DFL Supercup. After all, it could be their first trophy before the season even begins. That success can certainly boost the team's confidence, build positive momentum, and serve as a valuable asset heading into the Bundesliga and UCL campaigns.

The possibility that Borussia Dortmund can beat Bayern Munich certainly exists. However, regardless of Borussia Dortmund's current state, it doesn't change the fact that Bayern Munich is the strongest team in the league. That's the reason why Bayern Munich remains the favorite to win the match, even though the match will be played at Signal Iduna Park. Are you sure Borussia Dortmund will win? Personally, I don't think so.

Borussia Dortmund-Bayern Munich is always a match that cannot be taken for granted, because Dortmund, strong with their home fans, with the yellow wall singing, certainly has a twelfth man on the pitch. Then, tactically and technically, it is a team that has nothing to envy, very strong all the same, that can easily play that match. Obviously the opponent is Bayern Munich and you have to challenge them with respect, because if you lose concentration you will concede a goal in an instant.

That's a great observation. Anyone in the world who claims otherwise, in my opinion, doesn't understand football. If Kane had gone to Manchester City or United at a young age, he would have definitely won the Ballon d'Or by now. However, he stubbornly tried to stay at Tottenham and eventually transferred to Bayern. I'm sure he regrets the late transfer.
I may not agree on the word definitely, as there are other criteria to win the Ballon d'Or, but if we talk about the golden boot, Harry Kane should be equal to or the highest Golden Boot winner, equal to Thierry Henry and Mo Salah.

Harry Kane hasn't won the Euro, he has not won the World Cup, winning the Ballon d'Or would demand something, although when Manchester City won the treble, if Kane was there, he should be on the list for the Ballon d'Or winner.

If this was when Borussia Dortmund were still a very competitive club, I would've give predicted that they've got a chance to get a result that'll see them win this year's German Super but with what we've been seeing in recent years, I think Bayern Munich will most likely win the game even when it'll be played as the Signal Iduna Park.

Bayern Munich ate currently having an impressive run of their life and going by what we've seen from them in recent months, I'm very confident that they'll win at Dortmund.

Dortmund continually remains a top club. Obviously against Bayern Munich they remain a lower category team, but they are one of the few teams in the Bundesliga that puts a strain on Bayern Munich's matches.

Even just a few years ago, Borussia Dortmund came within a whisker of winning the championship, only to have their dream slip away through their own fault.

If he was in a better club at a younger age, there is chances that he would have stand a better chance of winning the title, not definitely because there were still good candidates that would've challenged him them.

He wasted his early years in the EPL team he played for if he's left there long ago, his career would have been greater than this cause he would had won those trophies you mentioned.

Bayern Munich's established financial power, and a durable signing power has globally switched the club onto striving on the 50 + one rule that limits foreign investors some level of control over a club. Had the Government of Germany allowed foreign investors to take full ownership of German clubs, a stronger competitive environment would be seen coming back to the league from investors willing to match up with Bayern's transfer market confidence. Thereby, granting clubs like Dortmund, RB leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen an equal playing ground and improve the performance of other clubs.

I thought football is a business venture itself, how then does the German government limit the access of forging investors into this clubs? Or is it because foreign investors just don’t see the German Bundesliga as profit incentives as other top leagues where the competition is high. I will be more than surprised if it is the government that’s behind limited access of foreign investors to German clubs. Bayern Munich has dominated the league and for it to get its form back, they’ll need to actually allow investors to invest in other clubs in order to buy big players and make the league competitive for all.

Bayern Munich is a strong team against Dortmund, I can't really predict how the match will end but I believe they are going to make sure they win this match. Dortmund is not weak and they will be playing at home,  this will give them more motivation and strenght to see that they win the match, but it will be difficult for them to win against Bayern Munich, let's see how it will go.

We shouldn't give Bayern Munich too much gaurantee on winning the game, anything can happen.

The German league operates under a member based policy, board decisions are controlled by registered members, with annual membership fee, varying from every other club, averaging at 60 euros per year. Some clubs like Bayern have the highest number of registered members, about 450,000, while Dortmund, and Leipzig own around 150,000 registered members. With a huge gap as such, transfer money is easily generated at Bayern than any other competitor in the league. A large portion of members in Bayern helps the accumulation of money, not from the membership fees, but from the members financial contribution, some lend money to the club to get paid back with interest, later on, like buying a bond from the club.

It would be unfair if only Bayern Munich is the only club with the opportunity to attract investors, no wonder their league isn't competitive because other clubs won't have enough financial backings to sign players that would make them stronger to challenge Bayern Munich, I'll check it up to confirm if it's really true, if it is then that's unfair to other clubs and they should reconsider it except they want to continue being called a farmers league.

So for the German league to be more Competitive than it is right now, other clubs need to also build a strong system and have more members and strong supporters like Bayern Munich and that will be very hard to achieve, So Bayern Munich will probably continue dominating the league except for an extraordinary team performance like that of Bayer Leverkusen in the 2023/2024 season which might happen once in a while.

Dortmund have the ability to grow good players and they are the only big challenge to Bayern Munich dominance, but their problem is that once their players start performing impressively and they get big offers, they will sell them to other big clubs, if they can manage to keep their best performing players in the team instead of selling them then the League can be more competitive than it is right now.

AFAIK, Bayern are not the only club that can attract investors. Most Bundesliga clubs are allowed to bring in investors from anywhere. Unfortunately, many investors may not want to invest in other clubs because they might feel more comfortable and expect bigger returns by investing in a club that continues to dominate the league.

And actually, not every Bundesliga club needs major investors. A club like Dortmund, for example, has been able to develop its young players and turn them into incredibly talented players. Unfortunately, Dortmund often chooses to sell all of its best players.

To me the league had ended already because the almighty bayern Munich have won the league even as it has not started, so playing is just to prove all righteousness and not just hand it over to them like that without playing.
With the qualities of players present in bayern Munich now, i don't think there is any team among all in the bundesliga capable of depriving them of that league glory as they will do anything humanly possible to be crowned the champions of Germany this season.
Any other team playing with them should just play but  can not squeeze out any point from them this season because they are out and not ready to leave anything for any one this season.

Yes Dortmund is one of the best teams to challenge Bayern Munich in this Bundesliga, but what I don’t understand is that why is that they do sell most of their players once they see their doing well? Because if to say their keeping all those key players they could’ve dominated the Bundesliga last season with the way they mounted Bayern Munich pressure, and if to say their buying a good player back after they selling the keys once they will have the chance to compete with Bayern Munich well but let see how this season will goes.

You think so? You really believe they have a rival this season? To me the least I can tell is they don't have any competition in that league, if not the fact Xabi Alonso put up some wonderful performance few seasons past, which other team could have come against them in winning the league, to me they have no rival in that league, they are the lions that rules that jungle, no one to stop them, to me they only thing they should be more concerned is the UEFA Champions League, that is the only thing they should be concerned about and no the league title because it's already theirs.

In the Premier League you should never take anything for granted. Each team has a possible candidate for the final victory, especially since there are at least eight top clubs that will try everything they can to try to snatch the title and qualify for the Champions League zone.

As far as Bayer Munich is concerned, nothing to add, they will certainly win the title again this year and will compete strongly in the Champions League.

Despite that the Super Cup final will be played at Dortmund, I don't see any home advantage for Borussia Dortmund in that match. Of course, Bayern Munich will win as usual. Bayern Munich will beat Borussia Dortmund and continue with their winning records in their head to head. Before Borussia Dortmund can win Bayern Munich, they will need to sign high value players and again also stop the habit of producing young talented players and selling them out. I don't know if they don't care about winning trophies but it should be a concern to them because they have done a lot of the business of selling their most important players all these years, it's time for them to improve their performance and contend the Bundesliga title too.

Let's say that, after having also given away Adeyemi, the odds seem to favor Bayern Munich, which, obviously with a very competitive squad and team and already capable of excellent performances, as seen last year, Dortmund will have to play an intelligent match, one of waiting and restarting, because with Bayern Munich it is the only type of match you can afford.

You are aware that Borussia Dortmund currently do not have a formidable team that's strong enough to challenge Bayern Munich for the German Bundesliga title this season, yet, you're tipping them to be one of the teams that'll compete for the league title?

Bayern Munich currently looks like an invincible team to the other German clubs. I don't expect them to struggle to win the league title at the end of the season. If there's any team that'll give them a good run for their money, I think it'll probably be a the surprise team of the season which I don't think it'll be Borussia Dortmund.

The premier league is the toughest league in the world of football now, any team among the top ten teams have the chance to qualify to the Champions League, no team have a guaranteed spot in their top four, they all have the quality squad to compete for the title, unlike the Bundesliga when we only have Bayern Munich and Dortmund as the serious team, and Dortmund is always not serious because they usually sell their players first money no matter how much the team needs them the most, so we don’t consider them as important in the Bundesliga because we know they can’t win the Bundesliga, but they can qualify to the Champions League again.

Ok we can actually agree on this that the Premier league is actually the most competitive league in the world because of the multiple top teams competing for the European places and this is why it’s also the most watched league in the world and most representative in the the champions league but I will say that in terms of the league winning team I think Manchester city to me has made it look less competitive because in the past 10 seasons we can actually count the league other teams combined have won and Manchester City have won and city has more than this teams and this is clearly showing the dominance of one club which even though not same as the Bundesliga where we have one winner for 10 season straight but similar

That's one of the reasons why the premier League is so competitive is because the teams there have this mindset of come rain or sunshine they are the best, they will spend money just to get the best players on their team probably buying players from other leagues and clubs just so that they can secure a good performance in the new season, that kind of competitive thinking is just what makes the premier league much better.

The required publicity for most other bundesliga clubs to blow up like Bayern in European football is unattainable. Bayern have the capacity to purchase big European players, take for instance, Arjen Robben, and Ribery played in Bayern for more than 10 years, afterwards Bayern also added, Lewandowski. Aside bundesliga, signing big players gave Bayern a larger audience from their exceptional champions league performances. Their competitors like Dortmund as you said in your second paragraph, grow their players and sell for profits, winning against a team that often sign established players across Europe wouldn't be a simple task.
