I think it`s to early for exchange Smiley

Yep. Exchange will come finally and I hope it will be good one, as Bittrex!

bittrex wanted to see what sort of community involvement we had and suggested a twitter campaign, which ive begun through our account. retweeting our post, essentially, to show how the community wants us listed at bittrex. https://twitter.com/SOILcoin/status/655961273763561472

they also suggested that i get involved with their IRC channel to promote the currency, which ive been unable to do yet, as ive had a lot of duties for nova scotia ground search and rescue taking my attention the last few days. hopefully no one gets lost in the next couple of days and i can get it done. i very much want to have us listed, and in the wake of the news coming out about cryptsy "pulling a mt. gox" and freezing withdrawls and peoples accounts, ive been making much deeper due diligence into the exchanges themselves, simply put, i want to make sure your money is as safe as possible where we are listed.

i am shooting for at least two of the larger volume exchanges and some of the smaller ones. a varied exchange presence will help, via arbitrage, to keep stability in SOILs valuation. a single exchange wont have as much an ability to affect the overall value with sudden sell blocks, nor can the pump-and-dump be accomplished as easily; both things i want to find ways to mitigate. i was in regular communication with bleu up until our launch, but have not heard back from them in a few days. i AM pestering them, as bleu is one of the exchanges i would really like to see us listed on as a smaller venue.. its the one i personally use the most often, so.. familiarity.

likewise, cryptopia is a location i would love to see SOIL listed on. now that we have launched, and have provided them with links to our github source, updated webite with explorer and faucet (we ARE working on that to fix the recaptcha javascript problem) they will have the chance to properly review us. a tweet or ten to cryptopia wouldnt be amiss, and as soon as we are included in their voting schemata, would love for the community to come out with their support to have our inclusion there.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Except you're ready to pay 3 BTC for listing Soil there. If you choose this way there is no other requirements. Smiley
I don't recommend this way anyway. Smiley

Well figured the devs have plenty of soil coin to sell on exchange to earn back the investment of 3 BTC to get listed? I know many do pay that,,, win win for everyone  Grin

I agree. Let it grow naturally and SOIL will get picked up on exchanges on it's own.

i dont think it would be appropriate to use the developers reserves for this purpose, theyre gong to remain static for a long while. i DID withdraw 16.8984375 SOIL from my developers wallet today, to pay off the LAST testnet bounty. all posted testnet bounties are now paid out. im so very happy that we were able to reward those who took the time to help us get the testnet ..well.. TESTED. we wanted to be very generous with those bounties, not only to ensure that SOIL got out to as many people as possible, but to show our appreciation.

the exchanges WILL come. ive resubmitted our application to cryptopia, bittrex has been very communicative... im glad that cryptsy hadnt added us yet after reading the article about them freezing accounts, not allowing withdrawls. certainly, theres two sides to every story, and theres just as many happy users at cryptsy as there are unhappy ones, but the fact that the unhappy ones are so vocal.. where theres smoke theres fire...

anyhow, the system is stable, block times are about where we wanted, and i hope that everyone is having luck with mining. everything so far is a success. now the REAL work begins. real market acceptance for purchases, DApps integration and education. its a long road ahead, it wont be done in a day, or a week, or a month... but stick with us and grow with us. we may not have fancy names for the evolution of our system (frontier into homestead into metropolis into serenity) but we have a distinct plan for the direction we want to go.

Ya didn't mean to imply that devs should buy an exchange slot, just that some have Smiley

In other high profile coins getting on an exchange late seemed to be beneficial, as the coin had already found its value and there was no mad rush to market from miners nor any significant pump and dumps. So its probably good to wait on an exchange with Soil as well  Wink

I did mine ETH, EXP, SHF, MONA and SOIL on suprnova, but the result was very bad. I don't say the pool is bad, just don't know why. Anyway, I prefer to solo any coins I can. Let's see how you do after 24 hours compare to my next 24 hours (Don't mean anything, just testing).

I can say for the extraction of data on the supernova for 24 hours, at a speed of 24 hours 84mh produced 130 soil, if you count your solo as it turns out))
