When the miner states: solution found; Submitting to...

Submitted and accepted.

Does that mean I have found the block? If so, what's going on on suprnova's pool? avg blocktimer should be 1 minute yet it shows 150% over the limit after an hour not founding one block. And if I actually have found blocks when it says that above then it really hasn't shown any of them the last hour or so.

Solution found means you've submitted a share - not a block. So everything is working as expected, you are mining.

Soil is pretty much dead concerning mining currently, so you could also just mine solo which would save you the fees.

i generally only mine with GPU, via the official pool at http://45.63.4.165:5000/
im not sure if you have read much back in the thread, but im planning on initiating what im calling a "miner's equity subsidy" on the pool, so that at the end of a week, i will be splitting the pool fee 50/50 between the server costs at vultr, and dividing the remaining half equally to the miners who are spending cumulatively >51% of the time during the week (i.e. greater than 85h/w) with an average hashrate <26Mh/s (i.e. the rate youd get mining using ethminer with a single high end video card).
i have a pretty crappy card. i manage MAYBE 2Mh/s on average, but still manage to find blocks as i mine, not a LOT, maybe 4 or 5 in a day.

we havent implemented a mining calculator yet, but it *IS* one of the features that ive discussed with altsheets for phase 2 implementation of his ABEE block explorer.

thats an interesting link. i wonder if it would work for SOIL, seeing as we are cross-continental, though... with peter in europe and myself in north america..? id be unable, due to funds, to go to amsterdam, for such a pitch... although.. honestly, amsterdam is one place in europe id desperately like to visit. the only place in europe ive ever spent any time is landstuhl, germany.. and it wasnt much of a "vacation" although the nurses were cute.

I live in The Netherlands and we can make a coocreation.
Actualy the farming concept I send you can be used as an startusecase.
I you want to put serious effort into this we can start a trello group and discuss how we can make this happen.
Some students from the univeristy of Wageningen (where I work) can maybe help with the plan?

A happy new year SOIL.
I hope it is a good year and that SOIL gets the attention it deserves.
I have a lot of SOIL and not intention to sell but we need more supporterds and investors.
The volume on Bittrex is too low, soon or later the warning for low trading volume will come.
If you also want succes for SOIL put some buy orders, now only 1.7 BTC and that is not much for a coin with much potention.

Good work, altsheets!

Small bug: an address pasted in the edit field is recognized as block number, not as a soil address.
