Phil, your 20 stick set up is way cool.  I like your reworking of the hubs, also, to increase the psu efficiency.  How much more did the wattage drop when you went to the 90% eff. psu?

big time  173 to 141  note  this includes 35 watts for the pc so for the sticks 138 to 106  and  I jumped the freq from 200 to 225

So  138 watts was doing 200gh now 106 watts are doing 240gh  basically the psu is the best 5 volt for efficiency of anything I have ever used.

50 bucks it would do more then the 15 sticks it is doing but I have the other hub and it is easier to do it. on 2 hubs.

I was thinking it might also be fun to keep track of who currently has the "best share" reported by the club's address.  Chance are it would be from a rental, so maybe that's not quite as fun to track, but seeing who's stick has produced the best "best share" for each solo block period could give someone some bragging rights.

As of this post the best reported share is 51,471,144.  This belongs to philipma1957donation.

Strange, though, because FinksySticks shows a higher best share of 65 million, what gives?

I can't remember if it was him or someone else, that started off/is running stick/s along with a S3/or something (without the .donation).


Then again, his sticks could have got a 65 million (and it looks like it may not have reset on the last block?), I had a 157 million on kano's with the sticks (according to cgminer).

Are you using anything to get that info?  Or are you having to do by hand each time?

Just trying to gauge best way for me to watch it as well for fun.  I enjoy watching mining and hashing.

BFG work here i have it working everyplace else with my new stick miner and BFG , i broke down and bought one . i like BFG more, im not saying anything bad or against CFMINER either i use both as I need to but if i try to log on with BFG it reports my stick as a auo1 or something like that then i get tons of rejects.



I know it working right i have it setting right here for now

Yes, bfg will work.  The club is not client specific, but rather miner specific (sort of), i.e. you have to have a gekko stick to join.  Since you have one, just point bfg to ck's solo pool and use the club address and your worker name and you're good to go!

i don't see why CK's solo wouldn't run with BFG would but depends on settings.. but yes, for the support thread really, this is for the "im in" and "Hell yes!" posts..

I am a Native New Yorker> I now live in Howell, New Jersey about 20 minutes from the Jersey shore.

I think he was off-line when the last block hit, so I don't know if that has/had something to do with his not resetting or if it's something else?

it's working now in side minera CGNINER as the main CGMiner, i hate using the custom folder in minera so I don't mich told me he didn't care .


I'm about to join as i said i have no problem using either or just like BFG more but will use what it takes .

IM good ty   got it working with CGminer and minera . it wouldn't for me with me BFG, i have a stick miner from side hack i had to buy it off ASICPUPPPY site sense i waited to long to buy it from Sidehack hes was the cheapest one i could find on sell in the US, just a few bucks more then buying it off side .  .

If it does not work just use debian if full computer.  Or if RPI use raspbian (built on debian).   And use the compac cgminer and it works very good and stable.

There is instructions in the thread about the sticks by novak.  But yes there was a minera image for raspberry pi somewhere in it that is suppose to be pretty much plug and play.

Thanks to taking waaay toooo long to get the Pi to start mining as soon as it boots-up at 5 diferent pools (actually only 2 pools) with 1 stick each (5 sticks total on the same hub). I ran out of time to finish the setup & testing of the 5V PS and the modified hub's, so I can to start pushing up the freq. Maybe tomorrow evening after work, I can finish and test it out.

Then I still got to figure out to use screen, so I can putty in and check on the 5 instances of cgminer (I could buy about a 25' hdmi cable and run it over to the monitor from the Pi but that would be extra cost, could just move the monitor over to the Pi, but that would get tiresome fast).

Before looking and learning more about screen in Linux (I'm telling that the Pi is working by the led's  (plus the hash rate on the pools).

I made my own mimera image with CGminer all ways do i didn't use the one by edonkey . i do my own once I learn how to a few months ago, i have it runing atm on this pool at about 11.32 GS  AVG on a PI b not 2 with a Startech 7 port  Usb external powered  hub using a old usb 2 hub PSU, i had laying around in minera with a adjustable USB fan plugged into the HUB.

 i did have BFG runing on every pool i tried but here so I'll get back to that later on .
