Bumped 2 sticks up to freq 350 finally and got this so far for only 8 minutes. Pointed them to the club now and going to let them run overnight to see what they do. If they do OK, I'll let them go until after work tomorrow and start moving the other's over to the modified hub and see how they do. cgminer version 4.9.2 - Started: [2015-10-07 22:47:32.773] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (5s):39.31G (1m):37.71G (5m):35.16G (15m):22.35G (avg):36.89Gh/s A:6480 R:0 HW:0 WU:515.6/m | ST: 2 SS: 0 NB: 2 LW: 44456 GF: 0 RF: 0 Connected to solo.ckpool.org diff 30 with stratum as user XXXXXtoPziVd6gUkdWgN815hW6wEdJJyD Block: e479dfd1... Remember this first 30 days is beta test. If we get crazy lucky and hit we all get an equal share.
Thanks, Phil. I'm sure I speak for many of us when I say that if we do hit a block in the next couple days you'll be getting a cut of my share, and so will Novak and Sidehack.

I know I appreciate all the work you put into club. (And how shear amount of clicks you did in a month). Also thank you for all the extra hash that was top notch. I wish there was a overview page that showed all workers to make much easier then the clicking. I am in it for the long haul with these sticks on trying to hit a block. Fun even though chances are low.

We are are going to hit a block soon. I say this from experience. I don't just talk the talk.

Given long enough time frames (interpretations of 'soon'), Nostradamus was right about a lot of things, too

If I knew anything about programming I would write something up that clicks the links, grabs data, and puts it into a table for easy digestion. It sounds to me like a simple enough task, but I know nothing about scripts and such.

I would need to look up scraping data again I never did a ton of scraping data, so I'm missing a big building block needed in this. If I get time sometime I might brush up on my coding would be nice for things like this.

I need to do more scraping myself. Right after I figure out what that means. NRN. that's my way of saying 'no reply needed'

If we do happen to hit a block, my script will email Phil and myself. That email should contain the hash rate stats for all of the club members at that time.
I realize that through the beta period, it's one share per person, so the hash rate is not that relevant. But it could be useful to determine if a given worker is active or not at the time the block is hit.
Currently I'm duplicating Phil's worker list in a text file published on DropBox. The script uses that DropBox URL to obtain the member list. The nice thing about this approach is that I can update the published text file and the running script automatically knows about the changes.

Right now have 2 sticks running. Will be up to more later but for a day or two I'm testing them on a project for fun.

Something like that could also include the "shares" field that Ck added to the pool reporting. Not really applicable for the beta period, but after the 11th I believe the shares submitted will be the easiest way to divy up a potential block reward.

Currently the script doesn't email that field, but it would be easy to add. One concern I would have though is that CK said that field never resets (if I'm remembering correctly). If we ever hit a block then wouldn't we also want that field to be reset for each worker? Otherwise historical shares for a given worker would be taken into account in the next block (like we'll ever hit two blocks ) Also, is the shares field adjusted for difficulty, or is it a raw number of accepts?

Just take a snapshot of the share total when you start counting and if/when your block is found and then you can work out exact proportions.

I'm making the IRC bot pull edonkey's list so that it doesn't rely solely on my manual intervention. There's one worker that I'm not sure anymore if it was a stick partaking on behalf of sidehack, or whether it should be counted as a donator: sidehackdonatedstick Whoever's running that one, please clarify. And if it is mentioned in the thread, whop me with a cluebat
