to me there is no threat to paper money in near future, although in modern age most of the people are giving preference to digital currency and online shopping but still the majority of the people have yet not available the facilities of internet computer, and still more that 70% are illiterate and no knowledge about computer and internet therefore still it will take a lot of time all the people of the world will use bitcoin.
its not only about the illiteracy but its about the rate... if we dont know what is the rate of BTC then we cant use BTC for day to day life.....for that comparison also we need paper money.. so there is no treat to paper money |

That is the trend in developed countries. In fact, for large transactions, paper money is frowned upon.In the US you should report on all cash-settled payments which are equal to or exceeding $10,000. You are pretty much screwed if you want to deal in cash big way |

Yes, this is the next step after paper money, the cards and the NFC cards. Both are nominated in the currencies of paper money, but they are digital. Bitcoin is a digital currency and still needs to build it's acceptance. Maybe it would be wise to promote bitcoin based cards (do you have any news about bitcoin based NFC cards?) |

I think that paper money will be gone in the future. How low it is going to take I don't know. Everything is getting more and more digital and money is one of those things. But it will be a whole process getting rid of the paper money.
