So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

What will you do with all you money? Spend it. But if I were you, I will just go back continue trading because as you what have said you have learned so much in trading. I think if you didn't stop, you could have double your btc right now.
Agree with you mate just continue to trade and earn money, or you do not need money anymore that is why you do not like to trade again. You also have good capital and that will generate good income also.
Me i do not stop trading until i can earn for this method, i need money for my future.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

He still got enough capital for starting again. There are even traders that doesn't have that big amount of coins but they managed to keep on moving forward. Because they see the big chance of earning a lot. So out of those losses, make yourself learn from it and just start again. And once you learned from it, you can recover your losses.

None has a strong reason to quit trading. Very few say that mining is not profiting much so they quit. Most of the active traders and following the simple concept of buy low and sell high. This is not possible not all the time, at times based on price movement the profit margin need to be reduced to sustain long in trading.

there may be time to get out of trading, when the price rose to a high bitcoin. Well, it never hurts to stop trading for a while. but, when you quit for good, I think it will only make you lose, especially when you have an expert in such matters.

You will actually lose, lose a lot of opportunity. Instead of using the time for more profitable things in bitcoin but you chose to quit. Then you surely will lose a lot of things with bitcoin. But if you are not going to quit right now and just take time to relax instead of quitting. It's more better to hear that word.

no problem for me to stop trading, because there are few other jobs are more prospective, if we think over the fact that we live in this world has a certain talent in the field, I have expertise in trade, but there is work that can't be divided by time for trading, I decided to quit while not know when it will come back again.

Quitting for good is your decision. Theres no guarantee in trading. We all know that trading is like gambling and also risky. If you dont know what coin you are holding better prepare yourself to be rekt and get hurt.
In a casino there's the house edge. When zero falls at the roulette. Trading sites do it similar but different, you don't pay when you are unlucky but instead you pay on each and every trade, called fees. Usually just 0.2% that results in paying like 5x that a day, or -1% daily

I don't think that trading fees can be compared to house edge

You already include them in your entry and exit points. But that doesn't mean that trading is more fair than gambling. In fact, it is not, and what's more it is overall less fair than gambling, though that has nothing to do with trading fees. For example, in an honest (more or less) casino the house edge is known in advance (say, 1%), and it remains the same for all gamblers. It is not the case with Bitcoin market (or any other purely financial market, for the record). In a zero-sum game (which is what Bitcoin essentially comes down to), those who milk the market (and there are quite a few such individuals) necessarily lower the chances for the rest of the gang, and in the end their edge may be a lot more than 1%. That's basically the reason why over 90% of traders are predetermined to lose over long enough time span. In a casino you know that beforehand, in a market you don't, but this only worsens your losses due to unreasonable expectations and false hopes

Yes of course if we stop trading we'll stop earning those  high profits but all the experts can't simply trade and earn profit as you need timing and sometimes the timing won't be suiting us and  it becomes really stressful to trade. Sometimes money is not the only thing just remember to gain momey most of the time we have to sacrifice something.

To trade and also earn money easily then you need a lot of time to sacrifice in able to get knowledge that you can so the timing will be not a problem for you because you already know what to do next and what are the things to consider in doing your future trades. Money is not a normal thing and we should work hard to get that because if we have money then we can literally get almost we want because in the world, money is like a boss and if you got money then you can be and get respected like a boss.

Goodluck mate in your decision to quit trading for good. I hope you can come back and you did not quit because you are frustrated with the profit you gain in trading. Regarding the your question on what to do with your money, you can just invest in a gambling site so that you can have a passive income and not be stress by the trading profession. There a lot of trusted gambling sites that can you invest your bitcoin with and I wish you profit as well.

managing finances is essential that you know how much profit or loss may be that your mistakes in manage so before taking action to sell you should calculate how much the price is right for the profit.

i do not think that trading is as risky as gambling. to me i think gambling is more risky than trading. in trading we use our skill and experience while in gambling we mostly depend of our luck.
The risk in trading is less compared into gambling ,but the hours or days of profit or lossing is not as fast as gambling .

Well quiting for your own good is better especially if you can't adjust with the situations on market .I believe not all quitters are lossers it depends on your time and situations in life .Anytime you can go back into trading and be ready to take risk again thats more good thing.
That's true. Not all the quitters are losers because some of them just quits because they believe that trading is not suited for them and they will find another source of income which is they are good at it. I also quit trading for at least 3 months last year because i think that i'm not a good trader because i always experiences losses but even though i already quit in that time, i still try my best to figure out what's my wrong in trading and when i found it, i urgently fix it and get back on track and now, i'm earning good enough profit in trading. I can say that don't quit and just rest and think about some things.

yaps, maybe a little break is a good idea, after that, you have to set a good trading strategy,, strategies more detail in everything, if trade has a big risk, I think everything we do has risks,. Driving it is very risky driving accident, but because we know the strategies and rules of good driving, we will not have an accident. just like trade, if you know a good trading strategy, you will benefit greatly .. but I agree, maybe a little break is a good idea, but you just rest and not stop, do not be afraid because of the risk, because the risk will make you more carefull in the make a decision..  Cool Cool Cool

yeah trading is really not risky because people are earning bitcoin in good amount through trading because bitcoin price is going to higher value and a lot of people buying bitcoin with low price and then hold it for high price .
I don’t think trading is too risky either myself but I can see why one might want to stop after a while and use what they’ve earned. Although if I understand correctly he initially had 7 BTC more than he does now?

Well, anyway if I were the OP I would take half of that and convert it into his local fiat currency in order to be prepared for anything that happens to bitcoin. The rest I would invest and see what happens, or maybe buy something with it.

It is why he wants to quit trading because instead of calculating profit, he is calculating his losses and he is more afraid to lose.

That's not bad if you are going to quit if you think that you aren't going to grow but still you've got enough capital.

Once you already invest another amount then he can possibly gain his losses only if he has the guts to do so.

Trading is not that much risky, and It is very easy and simple. Buy coins at a low price and sell it on high price that's it. for this we don't need to take any class. But the thing is we must know where we will get coins at a low price and where we want to sell our coins for a high price. If we are aware this trick, then it is easy to do trading.

- I do not think so, trading really has a lot of risk and it's not just buying low prices and selling at high prices, it requires a process, a long process of accumulation experiences and skills. Trading is not simple and easy
- In trading, I find it difficult to recognize when the price is high and when it is low, my experience and skills are sometimes very accurate but sometimes very bad. This is the most trouble in trading, it made me feel depressed and wanted to stop trading

Trading is risk and risk is not for everyone, not everyone can handle that so I can understand this decision. If you want to be successful trader you have to put a lot in that and be determined to succed and make profit. This also brings a lot of stress and disappointments so many people quit.

Why quit?Trading is somehow more profitable earning methods this days you should not quit instead you have to learn some more skills and apply new strategies there are many tips on google or even here on btctalk forum just search the better ways to earn more, are you trading manually? Why not try some tested trading software like automatic trading bot for example gunbot this may help, I have known some traders earning almost 3 btc per week, you can also do it trust yourself.

Yes trading is not for everyone because some of us always wants an easy money earning field and they think that trading is like that but they didn't know the risk of trading where they can easily lose their money if they are greedy in choosing a coin or investing in altcoins. If you want trading then determination and hard work is a must.

Trading is for the people who have passion on it, I like to be a successful trader also but I know how hard the journey to be successful. I believe if we will work hard we can learn to master trading and the good thing with trading is when you will be able to master it already, you are gonna make constant profit, unlike in gambling that you are relying on your luck most of the time.

Yeah ,it is so hard to become a successful trader as it requires big patient to acquire skills and good knowledge .Skills and mastery how to trade for you go along with those any movements in trading will that can make you profit small or big it matters .

In some cases Learning is not enough for us to earn profit in that thing traders have big difference .We must apply what we have learn .If you dont apply ,you may end up always losing and thinking now to quit trading.
