I bought a dash mining contract in march i think, cost 475 dollars. 100 m/hs

so far payouts total.

76 payouts totally 2.13 dash

at current dash rate $111, so far $251  which isn't bad really for 10 weeks mining. ( i sold  at 135 dollars so about $300 dollars)

Daily payout is about 0.02 i think this will drop and will mining rate make my stack back in another 10-12 weeks hopefully, so not as good investment as thought but seems to work for me.

Well that's the project you get a substantial portion back, however not 100, and ROI... well you can forget about that.
It's a shame there are still a lot of guys promoting this scam/business oppertunity.

Genesis mining has a large group of investors. Most of them trying to make a living off it.

The company itself seems legitimate , or at least more legit than most other obvious ponzi schemes/scams in the cryptoworld that pose as some sort of legitimate cloud mining website. It has a youtube channel with thousands of subscribers and constantly updating with content of their mining rigs etc.

However you never know what coin your contract is actually mining. Fro example the owner may think that an altcoin with the same algorithm may be more profitable to mine ,you buy the contract thinking that they're mining one coin but they're actually making more mining another.

With the price increases it seems like everyone's doing decent, but just watch out when the price decreases.

most likely he is an affiliate , cause the only way to be happy with Genesis Mining is to promote your discount code and sell people false dreams
you can check some youtube scammers like Trevon James , he is making a lot simply because he is scamming his subscribers money
he even turned off the like/dislike cause a lot of people are disliking his videos

Agreed. A lot of youtubers seem to be promoting genesis-mining and showing off their incredible stats. Either that they are plain stupid or they are taking advantage of unsuspecting newcomers to bitcoin who uses their code to buy everything.

I've bought genesis mining before the halving, i bought the lowest available for bitcoin mining which was 50gh/s i think. It was sold to me for 0.05 BTC. When I got it it was paying ok, but the rates quickly diminished to 0.00005 btc every three days. After the halving it just stopped producing profit altogether.

Don't use anyone's promo codes. Don't even invest. It's not worth it.
