You would really have to stick to a strict set of rules, one wave of bad luck and you can lose it all quickly.

Gambling can be profitable in the long run but it requires a strict discipline that's hard to achieve.  It requires strict bankroll management that takes into account the variance that might be encountered along the way.  One would have to "not gamble" but only play in those situations where the expected value is positive (+EV) and avoid those situations, ALWAYS, that have a negative expected value....even when one's heart is pounding and one has that "feeling" that they're gonna get lucky this time.  Always avoid negative expected outcomes and one will profit in the long run.  It's not easy though....it's all work!

that can be said of any game, but the fact is, there arent many gambling games out there that have a skill or knowledge factor, theyre mostly pure luck. there are some games such as poker, but you need to be a clear cut better than your opponents to win consistently, and thats something much easier said than done.

I think no , if you are playing dice sites , but can be for sports book.
Dice sites are designed to make you loose till you are empty and from my experience you can win small $ from dice sites but whenever you will roll a dice with big money you will mostly lose.

Absolutely, every spin of a slot and every throw of a die has a negative expected value (-EV), but in poker, you have both -EV hands (which you fold) and +EV hands (which you raise).  If you always get an optimal value out of your +EV hands and always fold your -EV hands....you'll be a winner in the long run, mathematically.

Not really, suppose someone wants to win 0.0001 BTC then I guess is pretty simple given that he has at least 0.02 BTC or more. He would easily win 0.0001 unless he gets too unlucky.But yes you must set goals then only you can achieve them, playing for winning site's bankroll is not the best idea.

If you keep up with your winnings and losses you can win and it can be profitable.

As long as your winnings are bigger than losses you should be okay.

Note the in the long run. If you keep playing, mathematically, you will lose the house edge. i.e if you play infinite amount of times, with 1% house edge, you will win 49.5% while house wins 50.5%
