What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin?

My least favorite thing about Bitcoin isn't necessarily directly regarded towards Bitcoin itself, but more towards the devs that can't come to an agreement with each other. That's what bothers me the most.

Least favorite thing is how easy it is to lose when you gamble or try your luck at trading altcoins, also the reputation that it seems to be getting as it's always tagged alongside negative happenings, such as ransoms and hack attacks and huge scams.

That it's so prone to crashes and there's no price stability. One day you have 300$ and the next it's 200$. Saddly all these talks about 1 btc being 1 btc is crap because it's the purchase power that counts. If one day you can buy a gaming console for 1 btc and the next you can't, although the price of the product hasn't changed you lost money.

Hm. I think for me the least favorite thing is not being able to mine, I mean unless someone is super rich and can set up huge mining farms, one can't mine and I think this might be the reason why some people are not getting into it or left it because more or less mining has turned almost centralized, if not completely, centralized in the sense that there are few pools who have control of almost all the mining operation and get all the reward and I don't think Satoshi imagined or wanted it to be this way.

And this was an added incentive which would have led a lot of people in Bitcoin on top of all the other benefits of using Bitcoins.

The transaction fees. Would love to transfer any amount (whoever low it might be) without restrictions.

i have enjoyed my experience with bitcoin so far. my least favorite thing would be that sometimes it takes too much time for my transactions to be confirmed. but this is not a big problem, i just wish sometimes confrimations would be faster

Umm. Maybe it is hard to understand. To be honest, until now, almost a year active on this forums, I have not gotten everything I need to know about Bitcoin. For example, #1, I know mining is to keep the network secure - but how? #2, I dont know what is the different between HD wallet and single wallet, both look the same to me. And many other more. I'm one of the few new generation on Bitcoin - dont know how it work, but still supporting Bitcoin.

My least favorite thing about bitcoin is the volatility.  It moves way too much day to day against the dollar and other major global fiat currencies for a variety of reasons.  I'd like to see this stabilize more.  Most currency pairs are much less volatile.  In theory, at some point, Bitcoin will become deflationary against all other currencies and reliably increase in value slowly over time rather than be so choppy.  However, it's hard to see that future right now.

One of my favorite thing about Bitcoin is the volatility. Well, it is good to do daytrade with a huge up and down everyday.

For me it has to be the volatility. One important thing that results from this is how it makes people become focused on the price instead of the core technology itself. Somehow I always stick to the thought that this somehow has become one of the reasons that prevents mainstream adoption and especially has more profound impact on businesses operating on razor-thin margin. So instead, it just ends up as a speculative tool.

1) I cant spend it for daily goods, and other spendings are too complicated to do to be worth it.
2) I dont like how the developers handle the block increase thing.
3) I dont like how the bitcoin marketing is going, it should be more aggressive to promote bitcoin.

That's true, I cannot buy any physical goods or grocery stuffs by using bitcoins as a currency, and that is the least favorite thing about bitcoins but I don't bitcoins for it as there are many other advantages attached with bitcoins like online transfers, online shopping , gambling , trading etc. and the other least favorite thing about bitcoins is the confirmation time of transactions

Slow adoption is an issue but with btc debit cards you can now buy most things using btc

Uncertainty of confirmation timing because we don't know exactly when the funds will be cleared.Sometimes in 10 minutes 4 blocks are generated and other times it takes even more than an hour.

Instability in its price is to me the least favorite thing about bitcoin.Another one is it require miners to confirm your transaction and if you dont add fat fee to your sending amount,it can take hours to get confirmed

Price is not in my favorite list.
Because I become bitcoin user not just for it's higher prices. But the innovation behind it. So, all the features are in most priority. I do not have any least in my list.
