Its cute that you guys managed to take responsibility for the funds that would otherwise have been lost. How did you take over dead wallet? Were you in Vern's circles or officially employed or working for him when the exchange busted? As far as I recall coin with such a name was not listed at cryptsy back then. Vern could be running his own version of strong hands on bitbei9.
