americanpegasus, so you offered 6 options in your voting, disregarding other options. Sort of like the democrat and republican option, while every other option doesn't get mentioned in the media. Smart but tricky.
You're almost a part of a cartel here, so it makes sense.
Nobody is voting really. It is just a discussion.

Could just use the on symbol. A variation of a circle with a vertical line or other circle in it.
I have no doubt that calling it aeon will be dropped for something easier on the mouth. Tripple vowels with a diphthong... I bet it will be eventually called "on"

This is fantastic. If we can somehow incorporate this into Aeon we will be right on the money. I note that the author has hinted this system will be incorporated into Ethereum. Let's do this the right way with Aeon. I suppose the first step would be to map out the operative categories / domains. Good find americanpegasus.

It's looking like a great time to buy... lot's available at sub-1-penny prices. I've been raiding the coin jar...

Yeah, although the previous ascent tripped over a little. I think the whole 'PegasusCoin' thing scared away a lot of the major investors.

Hey guys, how much AEON do you suggest holding?
Like with Monero it is suggested to have 0.1%...what do you think?

As much as possible Seriously, at the moment the monetary value of AEON is so low that it would be hard for any non-destitute person to overcommit. The emission is something like 0.2 BTC/day. That said, it is a small obscure coin that may never amount to anything other than contributing some patches back to XMR. So "no more than you can afford to lose". Also, I'd suggest solo mining, both as a way to slowly but steadily gain coins and as a way to help decentralize the network and make the coin (and your investment) more viable. You can get a block (30+ coins now) a day on a decent desktop.

American Pegasus rather quickly and loudly bought a lot of AEONs. It drove the price up quite a bit, well beyond what is sustainable given consistent demand, so far. I'd be scared to buy at those prices too. On the other hand, he's not really a whale by broader definitions. It is just that the coin is small. So his buy does give some idea what larger buys could do, if they were to happen.

A cautious whale and a retarded dolphin both smash into the ship with the same amount of force. . I bought as much Aeon as Ver holds Bitcoin, but nobody calls it RogerCoin. I like Aeon, and intend to be active in its growth and development over the years, nothing more. My holdings only serve to show my resolve in the matter.

Based on the distribution chart on Bittrex someone holds 400k aeon there. Reading this thread makes me think it may be you. Why not move it to an offline paper wallet? I highly doubt Roger Ver would hold even 1% of that in an exchange long term.

Yes, I don't plan on keeping it there. I wanted it to stand there for a month as a statement of support for Aeon, but I will be moving it to a variety of sources.

I'm still playing with these when I have time. I think I like this one the most. Pretty good. How about "An Aeon is Forever" as a slogan? See: http://wpo.st/JbSv0

I'm still playing with these when I have time. I think I like this one the most. Holy wow, Batman. I really like it. I mean, I would slap that on my multi-million dollar product any day. I still think we need to experiment with flaring the ends of the 'a' and 'e' slightly outward, but this might end up being my favorite version. It doesn't do the symmetry, but I was never a fan of the symmetry anyway. The whole thing turns into a messy blob when we do that. But it does make awesome use of that luxurious blue, and include a nod to the yin-yang component while also championing the secret notion of "8" that has been buried in Aeon all this time anyway. I say ignore all the people who are talking about what 'should' be done. It doesn't matter what should be done - all that matters is what is actually being done. And you are the one doing it. If someone wants to invest the money to hire a graphics company to design some logos - go for it. But meanwhile we have a very captivating design created by a member of our community - right here and ready to print. Also it's been two months of discussion on this and you are the only one to step up to the plate: and though you've been tipped, you put in your time and effort with no expectation of reward. That's truly a community in action. Great things are coming in 2016 and 2017: this is how a new financial universe is born - with a lot of expansion, explosions, and cooling off. No one is going to be rich by next spring - as is stated clearly in the first post of the [ANN] topic, if you are looking to double your money or get in early on the next big crypto-thing, please see your way to the door. We are interested in creating one of the dominant private financial networks on Earth by way of the first luxury crypto object. The potential rewards are implied, but by no means promised. And this will take as long as it takes - at this stage you aren't a speculator: you are an active participant.

Here's a variation on critical60's, which I've made to have the kind of single stroke that I had in mind. http://imgur.com/fLjkPItIt's a bit badly done, but it gives you the general outline.
