I wish I had some proof back then that Aeon (at the time worth 1 to 2 cents each) would be worth over 20 cents each in 18 months. What craziness, huh? we were both right. Aeon went on to drop to the lowest levels ever in the months after this happened, and now look at us.  |

29th September 2015 price of AEON was $0.0024 so from that time rose 80 times.
Magic of crypto trading is to find coins at the bottom. You were definitely lucky with Monero to find it exactly at the bottom, many found it a year before you at 10 times higher price.
AEON is not anymore super cheap anymore but that also means that hashrate is 1389 kh/s growing and general interest in AEON is rising.

AEON appears to finally be getting a small fraction of the attention it deserves. Thank you Smooth and everyone else involved with the project and advancements in CryptoNote pruning and scaling.
Perhaps Poloniex will give the coin another look soon.

I've been hearing a lot about AEON recently, I mined a few a while back but stopped to concentrate on XMR - maybe I'll take another look. |

You can indeed buy XCP tokens. Whether that is a good idea or not is definitely outside the scope of this thread. Do your own research. Does aeon have anything that makes it better than xmr?

Inviting all veteran AEON investors to chime in.
Think how much is a whale in Bitcoin or in Monero. It is totally same about same amount of coins. You dont need to be a veteran for this. Also trying to buy 50k AEON on Bittrex might take 2-4 weeks and you will still move price. |

I've always used the following scale: 0.01% - 0.1% of supply (1/10,000th to 1/1000th) (1360 AEON to 13.6k AEON) = Dolphin 🐬 0.1% - 1% of supply (1/1000th to 1/100th) (13.6k AEON to 136k AEON) = Whale 🐳 >1% of supply (>1/100th) (>136k AEON)= Leviathan 🐉 |

Hey fam.  I'm executing a buy for 45,000 AEON over on Bittrex. Some people were foolish enough to leave it laying around under 0.00005 BTC. Their loss.  Also, in keeping with the spirit of my open honesty regarding Aeon, just making a public announcement of my intent to acquire about 20,000 more Aeon in the next hour or so. This will bring my holdings to their final level of 420k AEON, lolololololol. For the lulz. 😎  |

Hmm, that is a serious bag. How much of this you bought on OTC? All of it. You can read this topic from the early pages and watch as I got really drunk in 2015 and ploughed Bitcoin after Bitcoin into the ask stack at like 1 to 2 cents each,, laughing maniacally and 'throwing my money away'. Aeon has always been a sort of playground for me, a respite from the nasty and normal world of srs bsns crypto. Also, side note, It is done.  |

Thanks for your br00tal honesty. I am even more assured of AEON's success with Sir pegasus as a resident whale. While pegasus draws Pegafractal escapement velocity of AEON, I have placed some funny money bids all the way down to 10 cents. Moneros lil brother has grown up.  |
