I do not know why there are some Aeon holders thinking of dumping them now. This is the highest price range that Aeon has ever reached in its history. We should be celebrating and put smooth on a chair, lift him up and walk him around like what they do in Jewish weddings.

The price can be "fixed" any time and AEON will reach its deserved $100 million market cap for the start. Just look at the all useless shitcoins in top 100, it's easy to realise how AEON is unfairly cheap.

Don't forget that leading AEON dev is one of the founding fathers of Monero, both coins has bright feature, will share all scientistic research in privacy tech which is funded by community, not by shady premine or other misleading techniques.

For one thing, testnet coins are worthless, so that already limits its usefulness. With Aeon one can see how a real market actually responds to new features etc.

That is very true. There are many people in this thread who are waiting to make a quick trade for bitcoin and when they lose, they start creating FUD and blame Aeon for its lack of development, which is far from the truth.

But I hope they dump because I would be very happy to catch the Aeon falling knife hehehe.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that if aeon is to be XMR Lite then there should be more overlap in the XMR/Aeon usage and mining ecosystems? i.e. single wallet, single miner etc that can do both?

Quite a lot of mining software already support AEON, since modifications to the original CryptoNight algorithm are trivial (i.e. the memory buffer size and the loop iteration count). Here are some examples:

Xmrig-nvidia  works great mining Aeon on my GTX 1080 Ti......1440 - 1475 H/s



Xmrig freaking rocks on my dual E5-2667 V3 ES w/35mb L3 cache each  pc, its my main desktop , running all 32 threads it mines at 4300 - 4500 H/s.

It's called fat finger when you mistype price and it leads to market buy on illiquid market. Or somebody confused AEON and AEternity.

@sammy007. It might be an impatient whale who cannot wait to get all the Aeons he can buy. There was one in Bittrex who bought it up to 45k satoshis on June. I reckon we are witnessing the same whale buying like he does not care in HitBTC.

Chart update. Aeon is still good as long as the price is in between those 2 lines. If the price goes up the upper line it is overbought, if below that it is oversold.

I see that there are some Aeon holders who are expecting much more than this present price increase. Do not be discouraged, there is more to come but it will take longer. Aeon is not a pump and dump coin.
