This coin - Aeon is a good project, but the development is kind of slow, after two years people are still complaining of the wallet?!. Sumo is another great fork in early stage with some improvements over monero and has an inside team with a premise that will speed up the development process

The chatter for AEON has been growing steadily and I think all coins are having this sort of breakdown since BTC is so bullish right now. Community development on webwallet could fix this breakdown. You are also right about the past, this has made me the most money. Best to not change tactics now

Or it's a reaction to mysterious rebase, skeleton waiting for "testnet soon" since last pump, the main reason I didn't liquidate my bag and still hold 60% of amount. Must admit it was a big mistake. Not buying back a single AEON even if it will go to 10K satoshi. Whole altcoin scene is dying, even fiat value sucked from it, so even common "stable in USD" bullshit is no longer an argument.

Will only keep mounted ask on shittrex, no longer interested in this project at all.

@sammy007. I understand your frustration. I too reckon that I was lied to by smooth for not releasing any code rebase and a new roadmap. But we have to be patient.

In any case, I still trust in smooth's ability as shown in his work on Monero. Give him more time. We knew this coin was only a side project with low expectation when we started buying it.

Wow, that's a pretty strong sentiment. I do think that the development schedule is being dominated by BTC's rise at the moment. I always keep a portion of my holdings in AEON in case smooth says the rebase is done tomorrow. I learned that with the Monero people you can't take timelines as being set in stone but I get where you are coming from since I too lost money on the announcement of the roadmap and testnet. I still haven't recovered :/

I do not see what everyone else is in this project. To me, smooth seems to operate in his own way but also in a good way. Perhaps I may be too hopeful in my mindset of this project but I do see similarities with Monero's early days and now Aeon's as there was a lot of FUD during that time as well. It is quite alarming, however, when big bagholders start getting itchy feet. I do hope smooth offers some news soon but I have learned you cannot goad him to do what you want since he will keep doing what he is doing regardless of any circumstances. This is what initially enticed me into the project.

I agree with bbc.reporter on this one. I think its a good time to double your stack if you believe in the project but you might get a little burned in terms of BTC if you aren't careful. Whatever happens, this should be treated as a very high risk investment since a lot can and perhaps might even not happen.
