Finally Djokovic was able to win his first gold medal, unfortunately I missed this match and looking at the statistics it was clearly a tight match because it took about 3 hours even though it was only two sets. Djokovic proved that he still has the ability to compete but for the hardcourt season there might be some tournaments that he will miss and only focus on the US Open to defend his title
This was one of the most hectic game I watch in recent time because before start of final things were clearly favourable for the young Alcaraz, but we have "The Joker" as his best and with this win now we can expect interesting competition into coming Grand Slam The US Open where these both will meet again.
Novak Djokovic describe his win as one of the best in his sporting career which is reflecting how important was this win for him and his career before start of the game we have serious concerns about his knee injury and playing against Alcaraz on clay was also not favourable for him but still he achieves his best win of career and first Olympic Gold Medal.
Now we have few days left in this big event hopefully all will be ok for Djokovic, and he will be available for another impressive performance in this event with his quality and consistency.
