Surprisingly Fognini beat Sonego yesterday and plays Humbert today. Humbert seeded 4
is favourite @ 1.23 but TBH I wouldnt be surprised if Fognini pulls off another win @ 4.3,
could be worth a bet!

Sometimes at the end of the tournament season it will seem less interesting because more top players have chosen to rest to prepare for the next season and also the top 8 players are already concentrating on the ATP Finals, and the tournament at the end of the season is an opportunity for players whose rankings are still far away to get points because they can get a balanced opponent.

Schevchenko is a pretty good player and compared to Herbert, Shevchenko will have a chance of winning this semifinal match, and facing Humbert or Fognini in the final will be an interesting final match.

Sofia Open, the two semifinal matches of Struff vs Draper will be a match between two players with big service and it is quite difficult to predict who will win and go to the final, Kotov vs Mannarino will probably be more of a rally, and Mannarino will have the opportunity to win the title again if successful to the final and a few months ago managed to become champion at the Astana Open

Yea without taking anything away from Fognini his performance was kind of
amplified by the fact that a lot of the top players were not playing, but he still had to
put in quality performances!

Good points you mentioned there! Yes, Sinner is on his home soil and also huge crowd support is guaranteed. Djokovic indeed defeated the Danish player not so long ago, another advantage for Nole.

On Tsitsipas, I wouldn't agree he's not always weak, he can play really great. He's just inconsistent. I guess everything will depend on his physical form, mood, his dad and probably 100 other factors.

Yes I will go for both Sinner and Djokovic. Sinner in particular will be seriously focussed
on these finals, he is favourite today @ 1.37 to 3.1 for Tsitsipas who has had IMO a
mediocre year with as above a lot of inconsistency. Sinner on the other hand has had an
improved year.

I guess everything will depend on his physical form, mood, his dad and probably 100 other factors.  

Thats it, all players have a few different variables to their game, Tsitsipas seems to have
one or two more to contend with, which cannot be good.


Djokovic has to be favourite to win the title outright and is favourite @ 2.4.

I laughed when you mentioned his father, the guy who would always babble every point in his son's match even when his son wasn't looking at him at all he would always babble as seen during the Paris Masters, and remember how Medvedev accused Tsitsipas of getting coaching from his father during that match in Australia Open and it was not allowed at that time.

Why doesn't anyone name Alcaraz as a favorite? Even though he hasn't had anything good after Wimbledon, he is still the favorite for the semifinals with Medvedev from that group, and even to become champion because his target is to be ranked number one at the end of this season.

Sinner has just won the match against Tsitsipas 2-0 (6-4; 6-4)
There was no really match (even if the result is not showing too match) but Jannik was able to win both sets without any real hurdle.
Of course I bet on him but also because the greek player is not the best one of that surface and today match was a clear sign of it.

Tomorrow there are the next matches, Alcaraz v Zverev with Alcaraz obvious favourite
@ 1.47 v's 2.45 for Zverev. Only thing is Alcaraz hasnt exactly been on his game in
a last few weeks, I recon thats why Zverev's odds are lower.

Medvedev v Rublev, Medvedev favourite @ 1.50 and Rublev at 2.60, I think I'll go with
the two favourites.

Djokovic made an early break but got broken by Rune a bit later. He then destroyed two(!!!) of his rackets crushing them with his foot!

he did it but he also said he wanted to win this first match to secure the year end #1,
so the pressure was on for him.

For coming into this tournament as an outsider, he has regained respect with this performance. But against Medvedev and Rublev he will have to play with the same concentration.

...and I may be wrong but was that the year Sinner was called in as substitute? Ah its a pity for hi really,
it kind of puts a dampener on an average year for him.

Djokovic v Sinner tonight, can this be the match which Jannik can beat Novak? odds are close enough,
1.62 v 2.30. I'm guessing it will be a 3 setter anyway.

At the moment I write, Novak Djokovic's game against Jannik Sinner is taking place. well, Novak Djokovic is the current number 1 in the world, he is 36 years old and on the other side we have Jannik Sinner who currently occupies the number 4 position. this will be an interesting game, novak has already beaten sinner 3 times , but I see that in this game Sinner will be victorious, even before this game started I looked at Sinner as the favorite and this is being confirmed now that they are playing, Sinner is doing much better than Novak and at this rate I believe that Novak sinner had emerged victorious. before the game started the odds for if the sinner came out with victory was @ 2.50, whoever bet on the sinner before the game started, will make a good profit if the sinner comes out of this game with victory

Regarding the remaining two games, I see Carlos Alcaraz's game against Andrey Rublev as a game in which Alcaraz will come out victorious, he is being seen as a favorite by the bookmakers and in my opinion he will come out victorious. In another game between Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev, I see Medvedev coming out victorious, he is being seen as a favorite by the bookmakers and in my opinion he will win this game. Of the 17 games these two tennis players played against each other, Medvedev won 10 games while Zverev won 7. I see that with another defeat in the next game, there would be 11 victories for Medvedev
