Tsitsipas has lots of potential and it’s not a bad bet, I feel you have taken a well calculated risk by placing a bet on him. I don’t expect him to win the cup though, but I do believe that he’ll reach the semifinal’s atleast. This is an interesting match between Federer and Rudd, given the historical connection these two have I feel Rudd will be eager to beat Federer.

I am also expecting good things from Tsitsipas. In the women side I have my girl Bencic. So here I have my four fold:

Tsitsipas vs Krajinovic : Tsitsipas
Bencic vs Vekic : Bencic
Ruud vs Federer : Federer
Goffin vs Nadal : Nadal

Got good odd altogether @ 2.39 :-P

Damn, the game was suspended, Tsitsipas was already leading 2 sets, 7-5, 6-5, 5-5. I hope it won't affected him psychological when the game resumes.

Sorry mate, our girl Bencic lost to Vekic 6-4, 6-1  , bad performance from her. Federer won over the younger Ruud again, recording his 400th Grand Slam match. Nadal overwhelms Goffin, but it took him four sets to do that, 6-1, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. There's also another big upset on womens side, number 2 Pliskova lost to Martic 6-3, 6-3 and it also means that Osaka will retain the world number 1 rankings.

Yeah my girl had a bad day and that cost me a lot of money :-(
Anyway, good to see that Nadal and Federer got easy win.

Your man Tsitsipas won today 3 - 1 against Krajinovic. Now Djokovic match in progress and already won two sets. He is easily going the the quarter final.

I was very impressed with how Tsitsipas played today.
He was great on the first half of the game, but he was very aggressive in the second half. I can blame that he is young and this could be the reason why he loses his concentration.

Tsitsipas plays too long matches and this is bad for such tournaments as Roland Garros. look at Nadal - he wins fast and saves the energy.

What an epic battle between Tsitsipas and Wawrinka with Wawrinka winning the match in 5 sets. I am sad to see Tsitsipas lose, not because I had money on him but I really thought that he could really challenge to win the French Open as he has been in top form. On the other hand its good to see Wawrinka get back to top form and looks like a real danger to the other top players. At least I still got Thiem going so hopefully he can win it for me. Nadal and Federer keep tracking along nicely.

I have not watched the match but I was following the score and man it was stressful. When Tsitsipas lost his first set I thought to risk some money, I got good odd (@2.34) and I was happy. I had this confident that Tsitsipas will win eventually but in the last set even he had the first point but then he could not hold the serve.

Lost the money but I really felt unhappy for Tsitsipas. I wish I could watch the match but I felt the hit even while I was watching the scores.

Karen Khachanov won against juan del porto in only four sets and it ran over 3 hours which is short for a martin match.

Khachanov was not the favorite as you can see from the odds which I managed to get while he was down a game in the first set but he came back and beat juan in the tiebreaker then dominated the second set. He has a powerful forehand and del porto had trouble returning his shots.
Khachanov was seeded 10 while del porto was seeded 8 for this tournament so it was most definitely an upset. And I believe the only one today on the mens side.

Nadal just made a statement easily beating Nishikori in straight sets, Nadal was unstoppable winning 6-1, 6-1, 6-3 to book his spot in the semi final where he will meet, guess who? Federer as Federer won in four sets against Wawrinka. Could this be the last time we see these two play each other in a Grand Slam tournament? Lets just hope its an epic battle between the two, just like old times. In recent times Federer has had it over Nadal however Nadal is playing on his favoured surface so he does have the advantage.

That is why I placed a bet yesterday and it hit along when federer was down in the second set.

Small win but still a win is a win. The odds were too good to resist on FedEx!
Still waiting on the matches to resume for tomorrow as the tournament was rained out today.

If it plays out, we could see the top 4 seeds playing in the semi-finals which we don't see that often so for this to happen we need Thiem and Djokovic to win their matches. Lets see what happens and hopefully the rain stays away.

Thiem has a tough challenge ahead of him in the form of Karen, but I’m yet expecting him to beat Karen and progress ahead. Djokovic will win his match easily by defeating Zverev, and I can’t wait to see Djokovic vs Thiem it’ll be an interesting match where I feel Thiem can beat Djokovic. Federer vs Nadal is a bonus for all the fans, these two tend to bring the best out each other, but I’ll favour Nadal to beat Federer as everyone knows Nadal is unstoppable when playing on clay.

Nadal should have a big advantage against Federer tomorrow. Too bad the bookies know this as well and they put the odds @1.15 which has no value what so ever. In the other match they put Djoko as solid favorite so I am thinking of putting some money or Thiem. If Thiem has a good day he can make a lot of damage to Djoko stile of play. We shall see.

Both Djokovic and Thiem impressed me today with easy 3:0 victories, they were favorites but I expected much closer matches.

We got the match-ups we wanted to see on the Men's side with the top 4 seeded players facing off in the semi-finals. These two matches are going to be epic, We would think the final will be Nadal v Djokovic however I'm hoping for the opposite as it would be nice to see Federer play in a French Open final again and it could be for the last time and I like to see Thiem make the final as this young talent has always been around the mark in this tournament and if he does makes the final, can he go one better then last year? Good luck to all four players and may the best Man win.

Another upset on the ladies side, I thought that Halep can easily win her match against Anisimova, but she lost 6-2, 6-4. She is the last seeded ladies on the top five, so the lost has change the landscape on the women's side. Only Barty (seeded 8th) and Konta (seeded 26th) remains for the semis.

@Trofo - 1.15 odds for Nadal? Not good for sports bettors,  . The top four seeded on the mens side is through so it will be really interesting as both Thiem and Djokovic is also playing superb in this tournament.

@vella85 - do you still have money on Thiem mate?

Thiem started the match perfectly and won first set 6:2. I managed to get odds of 2.95 on him so really hope he will manage to keep high level of tennis throughout whole match.

I was at work so couldn't watch Nadal beating Federer. Was Nadal that good or Federer just had too much problems with windy conditions on clay. I am asking so that I could better judge the odds for final and chose some good bet.

Indeed, but I don't think that this was the reason that he got disqualified.
He is young and he can endure a tough tournament.
It seemed that he was unable to concentrate on the game and he lost many points from his mistakes.

Yes mate I do, I put a small bet on him before the tournament started. I'm a little upset that the match was suspended as Thiem was on a roll in the third set leading 3-1. I'm hoping he can get the job done and we have a rematch of last years French Open final. Nadal was simply too good for Federer which we all thought would happen, it was good to see Federer play this year which could mean that it was the last time we see him play at the French Open. On the Women's side, Barty fought back after losing the first set to book herself into her first ever Grand Slam final where she will meet Vondrousova.

I watched the 1st set of Djokovic vs Thiem too. The wind played it's roll too here. Djokovic was having difficulties in his 2nd serve which he lost. I think if today it's not much windy then Djokovic will fight back.

I am off of betting in this tournament. Nothing went right for me so I thought to take a break from Tennis gambling.
