Are you guys watching this final between Thiem and Tsitipas? Absolutely great tennis, these guys have all the shots in the book and aren't afraid to use them. I really hope Thiem will manage to win second set and take the match into decider. It is very entertaining stuff and I don't want it to end.

No, really. I was just shocked by the final match in Tokyo where Milman, who is in an excellent physical fit, could not even take a break point from the Djokovic serve. Yes, Serb is still beautiful on the back line, but strong serving of Australian could give a chance at least for a tie-break. Poor match for tennis lovers... |

No, really. I was just shocked by the final match in Tokyo where Milman, who is in an excellent physical fit, could not even take a break point from the Djokovic serve. Yes, Serb is still beautiful on the back line, but strong serving of Australian could give a chance at least for a tie-break. Poor match for tennis lovers... Today was a tennis day for me and I watched and placed bets on all three finals. Djolovic match was by far least interesting and the only one where I lost the bet. I had 5.5 handi on Milman. Osaka vs. Barty was good at times and I was happy since I had Osaka to win and it was quite clear that she is getting more and more points as the match progressed. Thiem vs. Tsitiapas was the match of the week for me. So much great points that I watched 3rd set even though my bet (over 23.5 games) passed as soon as Thiem won the 2nd set. |

I've had an amazing betting day at tennis as well. A lot of fun too, who doesn't love drinking a good pilsner while watching the game and having bets on?  Thiem, Chardy and Carreno Busta were my solo picks for today and they've all won. Carreno had a quite a easy match, but I can't say the same for the other two and especially Chardy who had Evans D. as opponent. This later one is known for his powerful serves. Quite hard to make a break against him. |

Yes being number 1 can be tough at times, we mainly see this with Women's tennis as we have seen many number 1's over the past 10 years as I think the pressure to remain number gets to the players. Serena has been the most consistent Women's player to remain number 1 for a long time but the others don't seem to handle it all that well. So far most of the top guys have made it through to the next round at the Shanghai Masters Monfils and Coric who have both been knocked out in straight sets. |

It looks like Zverev went on a tough match against Chardy by just looking the score, 7-6, 7-6. And he will be facing Rublev next. Two of my favorites face each other, Tsitsipas vs Auger-Aliassime, but it was Tsitsipas who won.
So it will be Federer vs Goffin, Djokovic vs Isner, Medvedev vs Pospisil are the match to watch today. And I'm expecting that those seeded players are going to win and advanced to the quarter-finals.

Yeah next round we see a lot of interesting matches that could go either way. In recent years Goffin seems to play at the back end of the year in the Asian tournaments so it would not surprise me to see him upset Federer. Rublev has been in good form coming off a good US Open so I could see another upset against Zverev. For anyone betting good luck as these matches are tough. Medvedev looks the standout winner this round. |

That was a great match between Federer vs Goffin, I totally agree mate, it seems that Goffin really played well when he faces Federer and I think that there could be a upset in the making here. But it was not enough as Federer needs to dig deep on his bag of tricks. I thought Rublev retire when I check the score, LOL, yeah he try to mount a comeback but it feel short in the second set. Interesting to see my boy Tsitsipas against Djokovic, I'm not going to be surprise if we are going to see him playing his best tennis here and push Djokovic to his limit. |

I hope so since I made bets for upsets in both of these matches. Granted, Djoko is a favorite vs. Tsitipas but odds around 5 for Tsitipas to win have a great value for me. I took them for small stake, and I took handicap 4,5 on Tsitipas for high stake. Still good odds @1,95. |

Today we watch really great Tennis from new generation players as they give tough time to old guards and put them out of competition both Tsitipas and Zverev was on fire even losing first set but done great job and win respetive matches and now going through in last four where Medvedev is waiting for Tsitipas and Zverev is going to face another giant killer Berrettini for me Medvedev and Zverev will be in final lets see what happen. |

Damn, my boy Tsitsipas won against Djokovic, as I have said, I won't be surprised though, LOL. The score is 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 in two hours, he went from a set down against the world number 1. Lots of upsets today: Berrettini won against Thiem in straight sets, while Zverev beat Federer in three. So semis are now in place. Berrettini vs Zverev Tsitsipas vs Medvedev - This one would be one for the books, for tennis fans out there, you should watch this match  |
