If Federer keeps this form, I think he should be top favorite to win Wimbledon. In Roland Garros he played very well and grass is his favorite.
I am also curious about Kyrgios, such a cool player to see  Grin. Extremely talented but can't keep his focus/motivatino and is really free playing most of the time.
Yeah I think that's normal with him, and he traited his career not as serious as other players did. Being cool player could give him a good health and physical strength during the game which I believed an important factor for every sport active person to handle stress.

Congrats to Federer on another Halle title. He really surprised me with the ease he dispatched his opponents. If he keeps this level and he should he has a nice chance of winning another Wimbledon title. According to the bookies he is second favorite, first being Djokovic.

The first set was closed though, maybe Goffin gave it all, however, Federer was too much in the second set as he steamroll and never gave him the chance to recoup. Yes, I wasn't able to bet on his one so this is a good win for bettors out there.

@babygun - correct, this match as I have said will be a good leverage for Federer. He says he feels good and we have seen the result as he won his 10th title. He will be one of the top favorites going into the Wimbledon now.

Edit: Andy Murray win's the double titles in the Queen's tournament with Lopez. Good sign that he has regain not just his physical but on the mind as well. So let's see if he is going to enter in a singles tournament now.

Ashleigh Barty will soon to be the women's number 1 rank after winning the Birmingham title.

Yes this is a good sign with Murray and maybe Wimbledon will be he's last Grand Slam which he said he would try very hard to be fit and ready for Wimbledon. I just hope he can at least make the fourth round and maybe even the finals as it would be a shame if he is knocked out in the first round.

Ash Barty is now world number #1 as they awarded her the world number #1 trophy yesterday. For me its good to see an Australian ranked world number #1 again as the last person to do this for Australia was Lleyton Hewitt. Barty has had a set back and will miss the lead up tournament to get fit for Wimbledon which she won as a junior.

Yeah, I think this is a positive news for all Andy Murray fans. But I wouldn't rush though, probably another doubles tournament to really gain his confident before any major singles tournaments for him. If he decided to enter Wimbledon so be it, but I wouldn't expect he going past 4th round as well.

Oh I totally forget it, congrats mate, you have another number 1 player. Who would forgot about Lleyton Hewitt or even Patrick Rafter?  Grin. I think Osaka changing her coach really affected her performance this year. That's why she can't carry the momentum she has last year.

Yeah thanks mate, its good to see an Australian ranked number 1 again. Barty really does deserve this as she has been climbing up through the ranks since she came back to tennis after playing cricket for a while. I agree with Osaka as she just sin't the same now since switching coaches and maybe we'll see her back to her best in the next couple of months in time for the US Open. She is still a chance for Wimbledon but there are some very good grass court players on the Women's side so we shall see.

Don't know that she is into cricket, however, she has became one of my favorites in the women's side. This year was break out run for her. As far as Osaka goes, just like we have seen to those young players who have rank up pretty quickly, they did fall after reaching number 1. But let's hope for the best for her, she is still young though, maybe what is has gone through will make her strong mentally.

I think she has what it takes to stay at number 1 as she has a strong mentality. We have seen this on many occasions when she loses the first set is has always been able to bounce back and win matches so the winning mentality is there for her and playing cricket for a few years would of helped as cricket is a similar sport when it comes to batting as you need to have a lot of concentration and strong mentality.

Only few hundred points separates her and Osaka, so it Naomi wanted to take the number 1 spot again, she needs to show focus specially in big tournaments such as Wimbledon.

I am also curious about Kyrgios, such a cool player to see  Grin. Extremely talented but can't keep his focus/motivatino and is really free playing most of the time.
Well Federer used to be a hot head like Kyrgios in his younger days and there's another one named Marat Safin. Both have won multiple major titles. Nick will have his time as long as he remains serious injury free.

Federer may have been a hot head in his young days, but I don't think he ever played so uninterested like Kyrgios. But Kyrgios does draw some attention and I like to see him play  Grin

Yes I agree, since Serena Williams stopped being the dominate Female we have seen many number 1's which is good because it can get boring seeing the same person as number 1 all the time and that is why Women's tennis is in good shape as the young talent is rising to the top and winning Grand Slams. The same can't be said on the Men's side, we keep saying that we like to see the young talent win Grand Slams but they just can't get passed the veterans in Federer, Nadal and Djokovic. It doesn't look like changing either as all three Men have been in top form this year.

Federer is the fans favourite to reach semifinal’s there’s no doubt about it, but at his age I don’t expect him to win Wimbledon. Djokovic is ranked number one for a reason, he brings his best games on grass and even Federer knows defeating him is very difficult. I don’t think taking rest was a bad decision he’ll be more fit and hungry for success now, I am going to place a bet on him for winning the tournament.

All the bookies see Djokovic as the main favorite to win Wimbledon, but Federer is still going strong at his age. His favorite underground is also grass, Wimbledon is his favorite tournament and I think 65% of the public will choose the side of Federer if he would play against Djokovic.

That young fella just needs real focus on the game. He definitely has the tools. He just needs to use it well as he has shown in his past matches that made him rise through the ranks.

I will be looking for some value in this years Wimbledon as Federer and Djokovic are at short odds in my opinion, yes both play best on grass but I'm looking for a player on the rise that may challenge them and maybe even beat them. I was looking at Stefanos Tsitsipas but just not sure how he will go on grass, he looks to be a great hard court player but on grass he does look suspect. I really like Thiem but he struggles on grass, what do you guys think? who do you like to win Wimbledon besides Federer, Nadal and Djokovic?

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

We've seen it happen before that upcoming guys beating the tops seeds. Anyone with a huge serve is really dangerous on grass since the surface is very fast. Aside from Stefanos, maybe one of the taller guys with the fastest serves in the draw can win it all.

I would say Cilic but he if in horrific form this season so no chance of him going far. Kyrgios has the game for sure but his attitude is even worse than usual this season, didn't think that was possible. Don't know what is happening with Berdych as well, he is nowhere to be seen. Anderson is coming back from injury I guess so probably not as well.

Maybe Zverev has a chance, he got some semblance of the form in last weeks. Now you see why the odds on Federer and Djoko are as low as they are. If you add Nadal to them and maybe Zverev I am not seeing who else could even challenge them, let alone win.

This year will be interesting in Wimbledon. Djokovic defends this title Federer and Nadal can play in semis, but for some surprises we saw it last year.
But to see some prediction on possible 4th player for semis can all even Federar and Nadal can lose and Djokovic , but if I have to choose then maybe Thiem or Tsitsipas.

would be a epic final with federer and djokovic , think federer still has it in him to win wimbledon one last time, and against djokovic would be such a great sports moment and a nice ending to federers amazing tennis career.

Congrats to Federer on another Halle title. He really surprised me with the ease he dispatched his opponents. If he keeps this level and he should he has a nice chance of winning another Wimbledon title. According to the bookies he is second favorite, first being Djokovic.

I don't think that Nick Kyrgios can win this year's wimbledon. I mean that guy has problems with his inner demons. So he can probably go in the round 4 and then collapse in big stage. Raonic could be a good bet, Stefanos  Tsitsipas is a clay court player.

I don't think that Nick Kyrgios can win this year's wimbledon. I mean that guy has problems with his inner demons. So he can probably go in the round 4 and then collapse in big stage. Raonic could be a good bet, Stefanos  Tsitsipas is a clay court player.

I forgot about Raonic in my previous post, he can be dangerous on grass for sure but I am not seeing him as a winner. Depending on opponents he could go very far.

I don't agree about Kyrgios, he sort of has motivation problems against lesser opponents. If he gets to round 4 he will just start to be dangerous. Most of his best matches were when he played against top players.
