How to setup a Masternode

To start a Masternode you need 10,000 TX in one input block.
The input must have 10 confirms, before trying to setup masternode.

Use console command:

Copy the result and place that in trasfer.conf :
change other values depending on your setup

make sure Port 9999 can accept incoming connections

Restart wallet and use Console command:

on investors question: I can stake more with masternode?

Masternodes and Staking wallets get the same reward. That reward is 0.50 $TX. My main wallet over 100k stakes a lot, see links for details.  My guess would that Masternoding would do better than a wallet staking between 20k to 40k coins.  Hope this helps, let me know if you have anymore questions.

Depends on the amount of masternodes on the network and how much work your masternode does.  I am averaging 21 $TX a day with my masternode. Your results may vary.

Well here is the long awaited update. And remember guys just like the last time when bittrex updates their wallet. The market will go offline. This version includes a ton of updates and i look forward to the bug finders and questions. This doesnt mean im finished though. But since i have been having some troubles with family issues, things may go a bit slower. I still have a ton of stuff planned. But if there are any suggestions, just like the bugs and questions. I'm hoping to have mac finished this weekend. And needed to recruit a bit of help to get the trading pages working on mac correctly. Just as a pointer to everyone, Darksend will not be active until block 140 000. that is when the network switches to the new getminfee and will allow a certain amount of free transactions on the network. Currently this number is 50kb per 20mb block. But that can be increased in the future if need be. I was working with/against a team of 2-3 on darksilk. So it is quite possible that some small things have been missed like name changes. so if you notice anything "dash" or "darkcoin" or "darksilk" related just let me know. There was a TON of changes in this update. And everyone should notice a definite increase in speed. As well as lowered resource usage. I currently have 20 daemons running on a dual core linux server. Using only 1.3gb of ram.

For a bit of an update on my last message. I wont be going anywhere anytime soon, and the only breaks I take are to stop and play some video games every once in a while. I don't like asking for donations. But if anyone would like to donate it would be greatly appreciated by me, and my family. If not its not a big deal. I will continue my work, because I work to increase my knowledge not for anyone elses benefit. That being said, I don't mind others benefiting and profiting from my work. If somewhere in there they try to include me. So just keep that in mind

It's the most successful takeover I've seen.
It will not be a suprise for me, if this coin will be traded at the level of Dash pretty soon,
since it's one of the most advanced coins out there.

Thanks for all of the kind words guys. I hope one day we can be the silver to dash and I feel that we are quite undervalued as it is. As development proceeds I feel the price will adjust accordingly. But only time will tell. Either way i'll still be here.

I am going setup a Google Hangout.  I am working to start it around 7:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. This evening Central Standard Time.  We are aligning schedules now, and I will post more in the forum.  We have a lot to talk about and want to get feedback from everyone we can. We can also make this a weekly, monthly type of thing.
