Webcast was great.  Good talk about Transfercoin and just crypto in general.  Sorry I couldn't record, I will setup YouTube Live next time. Lets keep the momentum going. Smiley

Stoner19 suggested that we get people to fill out a Poloniex Coin Request.  This should let them know we are around and active. Thanks Stoner19 Smiley

For any of the windows users having issues getting a connection. The build included below has some updates for seed nodes. And should get a connection almost right away. If anyone is able to host a node. It would be greatly appreciated. Just contact me with your IP and make sure port 17170 is accessible. Then i can add it to the dns list. To check if port 17170 is open on your ip go to http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ and do a quick test.

Just a quick update for tonight, Bittrex has been notified of the hard fork and will be doing their swap shortly. The block explorer and yobit need to update still. I've been wandering around the code a bit tonight and testing a few more features that were overlooked. Some of then I've found they are either not working how they should. Or just not working at all. These things aren't too major. Most of which can be fixed which a client update which would only be needed if your interested in using the features.

I've been looking at some more updates from dash, and trying to figure out what I want to do from here. So I'd like to get some opinions from the community. And ill most likely put up another poll in the next few days. One of the things I would like to do is get the features that are not working, fixed. But there's a possibility that after they're fixed and we continue to dash 0.12.0 the same thing could happen again.

The second choice is to continue moving forward to 0.12.0 and risk breaking other features. Then once we are a bit closer to the dash codebase. I can start working on fixing anything that is broken. Doing it this way i would be focusing mainly on coding. And not in any way trying to expand our user base.

And the third. Which is a bit more laid back. Is use the time until the fork to relax a bit and look into other opportunities for transfercoin. I have a few of them in mind that could potentially bring in a lot of new community members. And should also bring quite a bit of attention our way. During this time I will be working on fixing anything small I can find like the dns seed node update that i released last night. This will also give me a bit of time to properly test the instantX and darksend features. Get the mac wallets fixed. And hopefully release the IOS wallet. plus update the Android wallet.

All the TX Community needs to brainstorm to add a new feature into TX code that no other coin has.  We need to come up with a bounty for the one that comes up with this new revolutionary feature. I think 1000 TX will do.  That is 10% of a Masternode.

Already done Wink atleast to my knowledge. If you guys havent checked out the cross sending I highly recommend it. It will allow you to take use of the exchange, to sell your coins and within a few minutes make a bitcoin transaction. Sort of like shapeshift.io except no third party needs to be trusted. You completely take advantage of the API on bittrex, and are able to buy, sell withdraw and the best one. Cross send.

I do agree that we need to come up with something to split us from the pack. Thats why alot of my time has been focused on updating the core code to fix darksend, instantx and the extra features that dash doesnt currently have. Already we are miles ahead of the pack, because our features actually work. Unlike most POS coins with masternodes. And in the next few weeks I think everyone is going to be very pleased with the newest client.

Perfect.  What would even be awesome is to add a trading bot that actually works on all big exchanges.

Trading bot would be good. Also you need to promote more on "cross send" function. Perhaps a diagram explaining what TX can do..

Those stats are certainly pointing in the right direction. Do you have info on any previous blocks, for comparison?

I don't have historical data.  I know when we had the webcast the staking rate was about 7% lower.  That was on 11/19 after the update was released.  Grin

I think this is the closest we'll get to having some sort of reference to previous difficulty or amount of coins staking.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tx/#!overview
Also a trading bot has been on my mind for quite a while. But I myself, have never had much luck with ping-pong styled trading bots. Other than for accumulating or selling of coins. They're great at doing that lol. I'll look into releasing some how-to's. as we are coming up to Christmas / holidays, and I'm sure there are people that would love to spend their transfercoin on presents.

Wherever bitcoin is accepted. You will be able to use the cross sending. To transfer your coins into bitcoin automatically.

Like I said I'm open to all opinions, and would love to hear what you guys want to see. Plus just because I don't nescesarily use the trading bots. doesnt mean that if theres enough mention of them they will be ignored. I want to implement features that everyone decides is a good route. Something that will benefit everyone. Not just the ones that know how to use it.

Hey gregofdoom. Theres a few possibilities of this error occurring. Usually it happens if youve run out of disk space or memory and the QT is having troubles writing to the database. Your "keypool" is a bunch of addresses that the QT keeps in memory every time it starts. Can you send me a bit more information about your system and check your available disk space for me?

Another thing to check just out of curiosity is try running the QT with administrator privileges, its possible that the wallet.dat was locked to read only for non admin users, if you ran the wallet the first time with raised privileges.

I have a problem with cooling the processor (i7-6700k), does not revolve fan and overheated and there was a reboot.
Starting in administrator mode did not help.

Okay, it is possible that the wallet.dat has become corrupt, Do you have access to a linux system that you could try and load the old wallet.dat on or a backup of the wallet.dat?

What i'm going to do is add automatic wallet.dat backups. everytime the client is restarted. The wallet.dat backups will reside in %appdata%/transfer/backups so if there is ever anyone else with this issue. they have something they can roll back to. This doesnt mean your coins are lost. if you cant access the wallet.dat on windows. If you dont have access to linux. Send me a PM and i'll see what I can do for you
